Club Absolute reviews and complaints
Misrepresentaion of provided information
This company promised top notch accommodation with monthly magazines to promote the club. However magazines ceased after only 2 months of delivery. Everytime I made enquiries into availability of accommodation in countries where the saleswoman claimed they had accommodation. There was none to be found.
False information provided
Club Absolute is a Holiday Club which involves providing an array of mis-information to make the package sound quite attractive - and then after signing, they state that the contract only covers the written word, not anything that was promised to us verbally. I lodged a request with Jim Laing on 12/1/10 for full refund of the 116112 THB i paid to Absolute...

It's interesting to note this company are still at it's usual tactics. We were "conned" in August 2010 by one of their spruikers in Hong Kong - We advise everyone we know not to deal with this organization. They are "absolute" con artists at their best. We were in Hong Kong en route to Scotland when we got caught. Thought they might have stopped this practice, but it seems not. We're just not going to pay for the last maintenance charge account they sent us. We've never been able to stay in any of the properties they mention, also do not even receive a magazine.

I totally agree with the comments. My wife and I signed up on the understandingt that there was accomodation in New York. In fact we were shown a list of available places with a booking fee of $150.00. When we tried to book in New York there were no places available. We then tried Scotland as we have a daughter in the UK - same problem. No accomodation. There is no way I would recommend dealing with this company.
