Theft and overcharging
These people are not professional movers; they stole property from me and broke & damaged many items.
I have filed a police report, a report to Consumer Affairs and a complaint to the Public Utilities Commission.
They spent 4 hours moving items I was leaving for Goodwill into the truck for themselves and them charged me for the time...they also charged me for their lunch hour. The owner of the company refused to have the 2 men
unload the moving truck until I signed a charge for $900. I moved one room of furniture from Hollywood to Century City ...They saw me as an easy mark because a am a senior living alone. Only one of these day laborers posing as movers could speak any English. I feel violated and abused. BEWARE!
