Sir,
In spite of our so many requests, the department have failed
to prepare the Final Bill for the above referred work. So in view of failure on the part of department to prepare the Final Bill, so we are hereby submitting the Final Bill amounting to Rs.793897/ (Net payment) on the basis of quantities measured by the deprtment in the 28th R/Bill by multiplying the rates entered in agreement as per details given below :-

(2) Less amount paid by D.D.A.under claim No.

(4) Add interest @ 12% for the period from the date
Of payment of 28th R/Bil i.e.30/11/1993 to

Net Amount Payable Rs. 793897/

It is therefore requested to kindly release the payment of
Rs. 793897/ immediately . Please note that if the payment of
Final Bill along with interest is not released within 15 days of receipt of this letter, the action deemed fit will be taken against
the department for recovery of the amount

There is a trend on building another floor on the top floor at DDA flats in Sanjay Enclave, opp G T K depot delhi 110033. This is an illegal practice.

Challenges to residents -

These flats are as old as 25 years and cannot afford another floor.

The top floors are then sold / rented to new residents causing space congestion and conflicts.

Top floor resident assumes his / her ownership on the space without any authorization.
People cannot use top floors for drying clothes in absence of any other space in the locality.

The water tanks are removed or damaged causing further conflicts and RISK of contamination (both intentional / unintentional).

The other floor owners have to bear the burden of this entire chaos when the construction is on.

Is there anyone who cares?

How do these constructions slip through the local authorities. Are they involved. DDA officer onsite, MCD officer on site, Police officers on site?

Why did we damaged construction on the Mehrauli Gurgaon road and Naraina THEN…WHY…why laws are different for us and not others.

I feel like owning an illegal organization management company to build top floors on DDA flats. Will that be a good business. HE SAYS THERE ARE A FEW COUNTED BUILDERS WHO HAVE MONOPOLY IN THAT AREA AND DOMINATE GENERAL RESIDENTS. THESE ILLEGAL CONSTRUCTION AGENCIES, WHY CANT THEY BE PUT BEHIND BARS. POLICE DO SEE THE TOP FLOOR CONSTRUCTION GOING ON…WHY DONT THEY TAKE ACTION?

This friend of mine who stays in Sanjay Enclave said that its a trend now and there are major conflicts going on. ILLEGAL CONSTRUCTION OWNERS THREATEN OTHERS AND THIS BECOMES A LIFE AND DEATH SITUATION. LIFE AND DEATH SITUATION…AND HE IS RIGHT AND HONEST.

THIS ISSUE HAS A HIGH LIKELIHOOD OF BEING BROUGHT TO MEDIA / TV AND IF NOT SEEN ANY ACTION BY RIGHT AUTHORITIES IMMEDIATELY, WILL BRING THIS ON TV AS A BURNING ISSUE AND APPROACH SENIOR AUTHORITIES, LAW AND COMMUNITIES, TO GET ATTENTION. THIS WOULD BE A GOOD EXAMPLE, ESPECIALLY IT IS NEAR BYPASS AND MORE OR LESS IS A START POINT OF CENTRAL DELHI…
