Unfilled Order
Horrible communication from the seller. The day after placing my order, I received an email saying they only had 2 of the 4 items I ordered and did I still want those. I replied "Yes". After the delivery date came and went, I called Customer No-Service who told me they had none of the items I ordered and claimed they tried to email me but the email bounced back (even though it was the same address they had used before and I received 2 promotional emails from them in the previous week). They also have my phone number but apparently couldn't make the effort to call. Their lack of concern for their customers has now made it impossible to order from another vendor to get the items for Christmas.
fraud
This company sells professional salon marked for "salon sale or professional sale only" illegally online and then attempts to "hide" it on their website. I purchased some shampoo+conditioner called Nucleic A protoplex from this website and then come to find out from the manufacturer of the product: Zotos International said that their products are NOT to be sold online under any circumstances. I called Discount Beauty Center about this and getting a refund and they basically laughed at me saying "well it's not our problem you dont' "like" the product, you can return it for store credit only but we will not pay for return ship cost nor reimburse you shipping paid to get the product to you." I told them that was NOT the issue, the issue was that they illegally sold a product online that had tampered packaging so that the part that specified "for professional salon sale only" was removed from the labels on the bottles and that I had an email from the manufacturer stating that they have not heard of nor ever done business with any company called Discount Beauty Center nor the name of their so-called Parent company either. The only way I could get my money back in full was to submit every email from DBC and the email from Zotos to American Express fraud department and Amex forcefully took the entire amount of the purchase back out of Discount Beauty Centers account and credited me. DBC was pissed calling me all kinds of nams on the phone, telling me that they were going to call Amex and tell them I committed fraud but Amex was just as impressed with them as I was and there was nothing DBC could do about it. I already got credit in full. LOL :-)
Oh yeah and DBC now attempts to "hide" the zotos line because when you search under the manufacturer info and go under Zotos you will not come up with any shampoos or conditioners. But if you do a straight search for "nucleic A" only then they ALL come up. Interesting, don't you think?

sometimes, i go to places like this and i get the urge to try different things but i've been using only things with pink lotions products or things with organic (olive oil) products. my hair is doing better since i cut it two years ago. but you know stuff like that you have to be careful when dealing with places like this because i had to be my own stylist, chemist and hair advisor and it cost me big now doing things all over again i would recommend anyone to a stylist or a professional this is what they can help you in, this is what they specialize in and what they are there for so what if the price for thier service is steep its worth it or you can end up like me baldheadded. before beauty
