Food preparation. Attended mt hawthorn dome cafe, ordered breakfast, our coffee and tea to come with breakfast and no longer had we sat down and our beverages arrived after mentioning it twice please bring with breakfast. Again I asked for my poached eggs runny, I mentioned this also twice, my eggs hard, getting annoyed at this stage. Waiting for my tea doesn't arrive approach staff she said they have brought it, but they had brought out our friends tea as they also had totally mixed up there order as well. My friends had ordered 2 teas but the staff had one registered one so when the tea arrived they just assumed it was there, s and so I didn't get mind a bit of a mix up. By the time I received runny egg my other part of breakfast had gone cold, a very disappointing time when we were really looking forward to having our breekie out for a change. My husbands breakfast also had part of our friends breakfast on his plate, was it busy no not really. Please use 5hi# information as you please and I look forward to hearing from you. Lousy service at Dome ikano
I wish i took a picture of the honeycomb goldrush they prepared for me. It doesnt look like honeycomb goldrush at all. I asked for that drink without coffee n without cream. The waiter came with whipped cream, so i told him i asked for without cream. I know they didnt make a new one and i didnt expect them to because i can see they are just so typical of those lazy waiters n waitresses.. they just scraped off the cream on the top (of course with the Crunch Choc as well).when it arrived, i asked if he can bring some ice n do u mind to put in the crunch choc. Then he said, "oh the choc melts". I know u just scraped off everything on top of the cream, and u didnt make a new one, just put in a few crunch choc coz right now not even 1 crunch choc in it. Then came a waitress gave same stupid explaination. The crunch choc melt. (Am i the only person on earth who have tried put crunch choc in my milk st home?) For God sake, stop lying! It's frustrating that we have to pay the 10% service charge for such lousy service from those pathetic stupid lazy waiters n waitress at DOME IKANO...not to mentioned that lousy drink. I'll never go there again. Often time, we the customer have to "beralah", funny isnt it? Other places have better service..spoil my appetite..actually spoilt my day because we went to DOME!
Unprofessional yet expensive
Wanted to chill at Dome Cafe in KLCC, ordering just a coffee and wedges.
Long waiting for such simple items, and noticed all these staff just blindly bringing the food around, asking each table if this is what they ordered. Wow, this is very 'efficient' and 'systematic'.
The manager dissapeared during peak dinner time. And the staff couldnt care less of another angry customer.
So expensive... yet.. so unprofessional.
Mamak staff are much better.

Senior Medical Doctor, dine with family at Dome, Ikano Power Centre at 8.00pm 25/4/15. Very regular there, two 7yr & 9 yr sons fond of this place. Wife made orders, waiter was polite, then noticed this waiter constantly arguing with guy that prepares drinks, realized some of them keep sending wrong drinks to customers and when these waiters bring them back to counter, the guy who makes them keep discarding them and makes new ones! Same goes with our table when one of them presented the wrong drink and shockingly don't even know what it's called! No manager on duty and all on duty were foreigners ( Indian origin), except one local with poor command in English! Food arrived half an hour later, one son noticed strand of hair on his pizza and the other took another strand of hair from his mouth after his initial sip! Since they were very hungry, told them to consume pizza (a slice) that they were certain that had no hair! As for me, I left my olio untouched!, waiter even forgot to order my drink! Was expected since he was rather punching in orders violently with his tag/card on a touch screen and had constant arguments with guy preparing drinks for their discrepancy between orders and prepared ones!
Not only did this restaurant hired incapable, unsupervised, poor hygienic, indiscipline, inadequately trained foreign individuals, that spoiled our dinner but they have grossly tarnished the image of Dome in my perception not to mention posing health hazard to my kids! In this modern age and time with numerous access to social media, I will certainly share this valuable experience with all whom I know and will certainly share with the all Dome outlets all over the world, especially the Aussies, where it originated, that despite what they claim, there is a franchise at the end of a spectrum that needs shutting down before their reputation is tarnished further! Of course, as a gentleman, despite not touching my food and drinks, I settled my bill in full, that too despite them charging me expensive service charges!. If the owner has a chance to read this complaint, YOU can only change if you can terminate all these unprofessional staff of yours who worked at the time and date mention! Not one impressed me! Seriously, not sure how long your business will last with this environment you have created! p.s., photo shows you how I left my table.
I have ordered Spicy Olio Pasta linguini at Dome strike Quey Penang. When they served me the food I saw why Carret is inside and no have red capsicum, so that I also the waiter why, he asked kitchen said that co red capsicum finished, use Carret to replace. Omg, they should ask the customer first if they till need or not if red capsicum is finish. And never apologize and anything. What is this? Dome service ? Table service? Haha...
Watch out, you're letting yourself sink to her level! Difficult to go that low, I know, but you're moving in that direction!
