Empowerment USA Group, LLC reviews and complaints

I previously posted a complaint about Empwerment USA Group in Florida for failure to provide tax services promised and failure to provide a refund even though I received an e-mail from the owner Charles Mcgriff stating he would refund my deposit. I was waiting for my refund so as to remove the negative comments against this not reputable company. As I have not received this refund I felt it incumbent on myself to update this case so that others may not encounter the same problem. You may draw your own conclusions but I would look more deeply for a reputable company whose website has a valid phone number and address as this company's website no longer contains accurate contact information. I am pursuing my refund by contacting the BBB the Florida Attorney Generals Office and the Florida legal system. Beware.

On November 5, 2010 I signed a contract with Empowerment USA Group represented by Carolyn Donovan and Charles Mcgriff. Prior to signing the contract they phoned me constatnly trying to sell their service and returned phone calls promptly. This is a relevant fact due to the fact that once the individual, Sean Sedeghi, representing me e-mailed me to tell me he was resigning due to the fact that he had not been paid for his services, I have been unable to reach them. Mr. Sedeghi was very proffessional and apologized for having to resign in the middle of my case. I have contacted both Carolyn Donovan and Charles Mcgriff numerous times to find out what the next step was due to the resignation of my agentThey have not responded to e-mails or phone calls and Mr. Mcgriff has changed his phone number numerous times and Ms. Donovan does not have voice mail and has not responded to e-mails. I would suggest that you may draw your own conclusions as once I was notified by the agent representing me that he was resigning, Mr McGriff and Ms. Donovan have seemed to disappear. I have dsiputed the charge with AMEX, which by the way had to be paid through paypal as this company does not accept credit cards. The phone numbers on their website no lonnger work and thier address of a city in Colorado is no longer accurate as they have moved to Florida. In hindsight contracting with this company was a mistake.
