EveryPrice.com scam

everyprice.com is not a real product search tool. All they are is an advertising outlet for unscrupulous seller. You can find out the hard way or you can do a little research on them and find out. I made some negative posts and they were never posted. The sellers that they listed that I almost did business with were scams.

EveryPrice.com FAKE positive store reviews

Should be removed from the internet and shut down. The site is no doubt run & affiliated with the rip=off camera stores it has listed. Example: Techondigital has horrible reviews on every other site but on everyprice.com it has 1000 positive reviews and not one bad. Total BS. I'm sure I was not the only person that was lured into everyprice.com via Google and then techondigital that has the best price, 30% less than the cheapest place I found. After attempting to leave a negative review 2 times it will never post. Also when sending a email they do not respond. The positives are all fake and probably done by employees of the camera stores. Stay clear of the camera shysters out of Brooklyn and the fake price comparison/ review site they also operate called everyprice.com. SCAM 110% of the way.

EveryPrice.com Reviews about the stores fabricated

I would like to say that I am very unhappy with the quality of stores on this website. I tried to purchase a gps system with two different stores here and both gave me problems. The first store-TECHNOdigital.com- had me call to confirm the order that I had placed. Once I declined to purchase additional accessories at exorbitant prices, the salesman stated that the gps was going to take 6-8 weeks to arrive. How is this possible when everyprice.com stated that it was in stock and I was going to pay for 3 day shipping? I refused and had them cancel the order. The second store-CameraAddict.com- after refusing to buy additional accessories, stated that the gps that I bought was last year's Japanese version model that had maps in JAPANESE and NO warranty! The American up to date version would have cost $75 dollars more- everypice.com made no indication that this was the case. I cancelled the order. I can't believe that they would continue to allow these bait-and-switch tactics to continue to happen! I seriously wonder if the good reviews about these stores were fabricated!

It's the same story with all of the stores on everyprice.com. Techon digital, preferred photo, camera addict, etc. They all have the same procedures; try to upsale you then if you don't bite, they tell you the product is on a 3-5 week backorder. Can't someone shut these guys down?

This site comes up on Google searches for cameras. It offers glowing reviews for companies that are regularly reported hear for deceitful bait and switch practices. Beware of the recommendations posted on this site.

i have purchased many items from the internet and have never had such an obviously bad experience. Tried about 3 different listings finding that they were obvious bait and switch and/or you will need to also purchase this with the item and prices 8 or 10 times what it could be purchased for elsewhere. Finally settled on Broadway Photo as they seemed legit. Well, I was wrong again. After purchasing the item and giving my credit card number and all seemed well I received an e-mail stating I needed to call them to verify my purchase. (never heard of such a thing) Well, I soon found out why I had to call. They were adding $33 to the price of my item for insurance. And, I had no choice in the matter. I finally relented and let it go through since they had my credit card number and I had no idea what they might do for spite. I am still worried about that. With all this I am now paying close to what I would have spent at Amazon or some creditable company. Many of these places that advertised there seem to be the same outfit with different names so they can scam more people. I am really upset with this whole thing and you should be policing these people that are advertising on your site. I was simply looking for a particular GPS system and was strapped for time. It has been a sickening experience and would like your take on these advertisers that appear on your site.

It looks like Prestige Camera is also part of the questionable practices at EveryPrice.com. I thought I was really getting a good deal buying a Samsung 32" 1080p TV. The offered price was $637 plus $44 shipping, for a total of $681. Got a call from the sales department asking if I wanted to add a remote control for $69, and by the way, I needed to add shipping insurance for $67. Total so far $817. They also offered a 3-year extended warranty for $297 or 1-year for $99. Every other internet vendor price included the remote, and shipping insurance, and the going price for a 3-year warranty is $129. They also tried to sell me a "special" HDMI cable they said I needed for the 1080p signal, for $149, which was half off the regular price. According to CNET, there are 2 bandwidth cables, 1.2a and 1.3. Pricing on these seems to be about equal, but the higher bandwidth isn't really needed for 1080p, even with a blu-ray DVD. MyCableMart.com had gold plated 6 ft 1.3 cable for $6.99. I guess the "lowest" price is not always the lowest. This is basically the old "bait & switch" scam. I would not order anything from Prestige camera.

I had a very bad experience with digitalnerds and techon digital as well... google needs to get them off their site. the government should close them down.. how can they get away with this stuff.. I completely agree with Monty and other comments, see: http://forums.cnet.com/5208-7593_102-0.html?forumID=58&threadID=110397&start=105... My experience was consistent with these..

In my opinion everyprice.com is compicit in Internet fraud. This is supposedly a price comparison website but when you run a Google check on their 5 star vendors you find they are all 5 star scam artists who attempt to upsell at exhorbitant prices and when you do not buy items you did not order you never receive the merchandize you did order. This site should be closed to for consumer protection.
