Face of Man Unfriendly company who is always busy and keeps ignoring complaints

The service at this SPA in Singapore is really bad and it seems that they are out to cheat people of their money. I paid for the promotional Groupon voucher recently as I would like to try out their services in your AMK branch ... reason being I am staying near there. 3 weeks before the expiry date, I started calling and was either having issues getting through or booking a slot. And when I finally get through on the last day, I was told that for AMK branch, it is always full and you need to call at least 2 weeks in advance. This really pissed me off, as it means that even if I managed to get through the line 2 weeks before, I still can't use the voucher
that I paid for.

Questions are why these are not stated in the Groupon voucher clearly when there are lots of spaces to do so especially when they know that the AMK branch is always full and needs to book at least 2 weeks in advance. Also why nobody told me that when I managed to get through and spoke to someone earlier?

Thanks for the bad service. You really do the SPA industry a dis-service ...

By the way, I did tell your staff that I am lodging a complaint and she was not really bothered about it. She told me that she is just a staff and I should not be lodging a complaint against her, but against the company. Good advice.

Also after repeated posting on their Facebook, they just keep removing my posting without even bothering to call me back. In that case, why have a Feedback session in their website. I also complained to them through their online form, but nobody wants to call me back.

I am not asking for a refund since Groupon has already done so. Groupon is really a nice company and their staff are so professional. They really followed through.

But this company "Face of Man" in Singapore is really bad. They just keep removing my posting. They would rather keep doing that than to call me or email me to explain. I just want an apology. I don't need a refund since Groupon has already done so.

Thanks for the help.

The owner had contacted me and both parties had dealt with the issue professionally. The case is now closed and I am fully satisfied with how the owner handled the issue. I will still give them a chance after this incident. I believe they will fix the issue within the next few months.

Hi
I am writing from Face of Man and this is a isolated incident that wwe tie up with groupon.
We are a forthright company and in no way, we will be against our principal of ethical service to cheat customer.
The matter has been resolved and customer has been satisfied with our reply.
Below is what transpire to this misunderstanding:
When we noticed the facebook comment on the wall, we immediately take action to apologise and contact him through facebook private message as we are unable to get any other contact details from his facebook account. However, there was no reply because he did not see those messages and continued to post comments on the wall that we do not apologised and did not contact him.

Next, we tried to trace his name with groupon list hoping to get his contact or email address but the groupon voucher was purchased under his wife's name . Even the amk outlet does not have his record as this was his first time calling in.

So the only best solution is to trace his company profile and hope to call him at his office to alert him of our response and our concerns.
However, we did not managed to contact him as we have only the initial CK Pua.

Eventually, we found his spouse facebook account which was linked to him. FRom there, we verified with groupon and was sure she is the wife of our client. Without delay, we send a message to his wife to ask him to contact us.
A few days later, he contacted us and I explained the situation that we have been trying very hard to reach him .
He reaslied that he has overlooked his facebook private mesage and understood our intent to contact him .
I offered to revalidate his groupon and arrange an alternative appointment.
He was pleased with our course of action and decided not to pursue this matter of not apologising and ignoring him.

I explained that I had erased the repetitive comments on the wall because it was clearly a misunderstanding.
As for the amk method of handling calls, we have brought the matter to the attention of the manager.
On 31st JUly 2011, we have ceased franchise relationship with amk outlet.

Face of Man will always continue to uphold his value of forthright service, transparent promotions and good customer service.
