FIA credit card services Closing my account abuse

After I determined that I no longer wanted to deal with FIA due to
shady practices I paid off my two cards as soon as I could. I then
called them to cancel my accounts and I wanted the up to the minute
charges so I would not get any more statements from them. As
soon as I got the amounts, over the phone, I electronically paid them, immediately. I also sent them a notice that I am cancelling both credit card accounts. I have a notation on one of my credit alerts that showed that I closed two accounts. Then they started to bill me again saying I was delinquent and owed them money. I actually paid them again just to be rid of them. They ruined
my credit rating. It dropped by over 100 point for the amount of 2.98 for one card and the other card was charged 25.00 for credit
protection. I was turned down for a mortgage pre approval. Now they have caused me some major damage.
I can't believe that this major corporation is engaging in criminal activity with no one watching out for the consumer.

They did exactly the same thing to me. My credit score dropped from 725 to 565 because of these bas*****. I will sue them.

FIA credit card services DECEPTIVE PRACTICES

I have my visa credit card for over 10 years, started with Chase, then IstBank took over my credit card. I was satisfied with Chase and IstBank, who approved my credit limit, until FIA card services came in to the picture as credit card servicing for IstBank. The only info I know about FIA was that they were merely servicing my card, because each time I called for a question regarding my payments particularly date posting of payment online, FIA would direct me to my bank, IstBank. This has been going on for years, and my credit card limit was issued by IstBank. I decided to see if I can increase my credit limit, I went online this time because I thought that my request would be directed to IstBank, instead, FIA who all these years have been reviewing my credit card information before approving balance transfers, cut my credit limit to my balance without any letter or explanation. These people are very unprofessional, deceptive (they are nice on the phone, last time I called, to increase the balance by a mere $600, the lady said, it is approved, NEVER was approved, I found out later), rude and mean! They wrote me a later suggesting options to pay my credit card, which is an insult, because I was never delayed in paying and always much over the minimum payment! FIA will manage your budget for you!

I am complaining becaus I cannot find a way to cancel FIA Credit Cards' Since SunTrust Bank is no loger affiliated with FIA, we have chosen not to use FIA. Credit cards have been sent to us on two occasions with different card number andwithout our permission. I wish to cancel these cards.
