Frankie's Auto Sales Memphis, Tennessee Salesman Robert Gray

On July 18, 2012, we purchased a 2003 Chevy Corvette. The salesman Robert Gray assured that this was a very good car with no engine leaks or transmission problems.
During negotiations, he agreed to repainting the front bumper, fixing the passenger side headlight, and the front end alignment. The bumper was repainted with uneven spray, and paint drips. Someone had damaged the edge of the passenger door scraping it against concrete. Robert Gray called me and said the car looked brand new. We drove over a hundred miles to pick up the car, only to see the problems. He agreed to redo the paint and fix the damage in order to make the sale. They repaired the bad paint job and the damaged door. We picked up the car, drove it back to Jackson during a thunderstorm, and the headlight did not work! I called Robert Grayp the next morning. He said to call David the Service Manager, which I did. David the Service Manager has no customer service skills whatsoever! He just says "do you have an extended warranty?" like a pre-recorded message! I explained that the headlight was supposed to be repaired prior to the sale. We then took the car to our mechanic in Jackson, TN who discovered an oil leak in the engine timing chain cover. I called Robert Gray who advised to let their Service Department look at it, and he would take it to the top to have it repaired, of course the ink wasn't even dry on his commission check! I drove the car back to Memphis, and of course the first thing David-we take no responsibility-Service Manager says, "did you have a warranty?" So I go to Robert Gray, who I already know is the biggest chuck & jive artist, and he puts on this act of "man, that's not right, I'm on your side, I'm behind you 100%, we will fix this", so I said, ok, go fix it. Robert Gray comes back with my keys and tells me they can not find a problem with the headlight, and they will charge me for the engine repairs, according to the Sales Manager Tony, who must practice his lines with David the Service Manager "Do you have a warranty?" THE BOTTOM LINE IS THAT THIS ENGINE LEAK WAS UNDETECTED AT THE TIME OF SALE AND DELIVERY. WE WERE NOT ABLE TO PUT THE CAR ON A LIFT AND CHECK OUT THE ENGINE PRIOR. ROBERT GRAY ASSURED THE CAR WAS SOUND, AND THEN LATER SAID HE WOULD HAVE THE ENGINE FIXED. ROBERT GRAY IS A LIAR, HE AND THE ENTIRE DEALERSHIP CAN NOT BE TRUSTED, THEY WILL NOT RESPECT YOU ONCE THE CONTRACT IS SIGNED. WE LEARNED THE HARD WAY, DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU!

Here is my car in Frankie's Shop, the third attempt to repair the oil leak discovered the day after purchase. Their mechanics are not qualified, botched the repair three times then refused to make the repair they agreed to, after causing more damages.

Yes, that is the basis of Frankie's Sales, Managers, and of course Frankie Alexander himself. They told me, "what did you expect?" I expected truth, integrity, sincere customer service. After the sale, they react to customers by being ignorant, rude, with intentional malice and antagonism!
The devil is running that business, buyer beware. We are trying to warn all ya all!

Frankies does nothing to provide customer service, only to make as much money, however they can get away with! S C U M B A G S, liars, cheats, and theives, that stick together. Not any kind of of a decent human being working there. Thick as theives.

Like I said, we learned an expensive lesson at the word of Robert Gray and that ### dealership Frankies of Memphis, TN. They just won't do the right thing, and screwed us. Karma is a ###! It will be my lifes mission now to expose them for what they are.

I also purchased a 2004 Infiniti G35, it looked great. Lead than 3 weeks my clutch went out because they didn't even service the vehicle. Had they at least serviced the vehicle, they would have known all of the fluid were either out or low. Upon purchasing the vehicle, I asked if they had done these. The manager assured me that they did, but couldn't find it in the computer where it had actually been done. I didn't even get a chance to get it serviced. By the time I added the clutch fluid myself, it was too late. The manager told me that that was not the reason for the clutch going bad, but the people at Aamoco told me it was (hmmm, who do you believe). They offered to fix it for $1700! I tilt them, but it was your fault! I had it towed to a real expert. A couple of the employees later told me that they sale a lot of "junk"cars that look nice, but are not...& the mechanic is a joke, he can't really fix anything...HEY FRANKIE...YOU GOT ME!
But not too many more people...I'm making it my business!
