Gasoline Redemption Center reviews and complaints
Free Gas Vouchers
We visited a Travel Club and was given a $400.00 gas redemption Certificate. We had to select our gas station (Exxon) and received our gas vouchers to send in monthly with a mim of $100 in gas tickets and we would receive a $25 gas card over the next eighteen months. We send in for two months and they were refused and returned to us by the Post Office. I...

My association with this so called company began last September. As with all the other reports I faithfully sent in my receipts thinking I would get $25 gift cards each month for eight months. I never received anything, oh, I'm sorry, I did- I got emails that said they were having technical problems and I received returned email. I went back to the dealership where I got the card and they are cutting a check for the six months I sent receipts in plus the $5 it cost to join. I was thrilled about that.
I went to the BBB website and did find out that the complaints that were forwarded to the Florida Attorney General's office did some good. On February 12th, 2009 the Attorney general filed an action against the company and the president. On February 20, 2009, the court approved a Stipulated Order for Preliminary Injunction and Appointment of Receiver with regard to this action. As of February 6, 2009, all of the company's toll free telephone numbers are not working. Information in the BBB files indicate that on February 17, 2009, the company informed its employees that it was closing down.
Maybe something good has come from all the people who unfortunately became involved with a company that was a scam.

Did not send money promised with redemption coupons
Received a gift from the local Ford Motor Company
for $150.00 worth of gas or merchandise from the gas
station of our choice. Instructions came by e mail and
post on how to redeem with a coupon for each of 6
months. Receipts were required to show you had
purchased $100.00 in gas each month to be sent into
the above company each month. Also, required to
pay $5.00 by PayPal to get started; which would be
refunded at the end of 6 month. We complied by
buying BP gas, you were allowed to chose from several
companies. Coupons, receipts and the $5.00 was sent
in Oct and Nov 08. They do not answer mailings from
us or the one remaining e mail address. Guess it's
time to file with our Attorney General, Troy King
and the Alabama Consumer Fraud Division. Wonder
how many $5.00 they have collected.

Hello Again,
I conducted my own personal search on "gasoline redemption" and this is not a Ford Motor Company corporate incentive. You may wish to do a Google or Yahoo search on the subject. There are many comments posted plus links to the BBB. Thanks.
Hello Pat,
My name is Shawn and I am a member of Ford Motor Company Customer Service Division. I'm not sure what happened in your situation. I cannot tell from your issue if this was a local dealership or a FMC incentive. I would like to suggest that you contact our Customer Service Relationship Center at [protected] for further assistance in resolving your issue. The CRC Representative would be in the best position to help you resolve your concern. Thank you.
gas rebate cards
I too, have been a victim of what I beleive is fraud with this gasoline redemption center... I purchased over $2600 dollars of furniture from Ashley Furniture Co., and followed all the rules that I was given in writing concerning my gas rebate cards. Ha that was a joke! I mailed receipts each month for 3 months and still don't have anything to show for it. This last month, (Feb) my letter came back! no forwarding address, so what does that tell you? It sent out more red flags to me... this is all
a hoax and we are the victims, which is so sad that we have people who breathe in this world that will do this. I have learned my lesson now, and will never beleive anything that gas rebate offers say, and probably will not make a purchase from that store because of what I have experienced with this mess!

Purchased a Pioneer Plasma TV from Tweeter in November (now out of business too), and was given the same $500 of free gas registration information describe by others on this site. After doing all the steps, including sending in the initial $5, and mailing in the first 2 months of receipts; have now realized it all was a hoax. No more emails go through and no one answers the phone. I guess I'm lucky to be out only 5 bucks (and some postage). OTHERS BEWARE !
We were advised to send a check in for $30.00 TO BEGING RECIEVING 25.00 VOUCHERS EACH MONTH UNTIL WE HAD RECIEVED 300.00 WORTH OOF FREE GAS. wE HAD TO SPEND $100.00 A MONTH AND SEND RECIEPTS IN EACH MONTH. WE WOULD RECIEVE A 25$ COUPON FOE EACH 100$ WOTH OF RECIEPTS SENT IN.
WE HAVE COMPLETED ALL PAPER WORK ASK OF US SINCE DECEMBER AND HAVE NOT RECIEVED A COUPON YET. I TRIED TO CALL THE NUMBERS ON OUR PAPER WORK AND FIND THEY ARE ALL NONWORKING NUMBERS.
I have sent in the four months worth of receipts as requested by them aloing with $5.00 I paid through Pay Pal. Not only have I not received any free gas card Shortly after I signed up with this bunch of theives someone tried to access my pay pal account for a pornagraphic purchase...then shortly after that the checking account I used with pay pal for that $5.00 was hacked into and another porn purchase for a magazine subscription was processed. Luckily I was able to get my money back and closed that account; however I'm concerned how much personal info they might have obtained through this obvious scam. I would be happy to join a class action law suit against this bunch. Wanda
I sent my five dollars through pay pal in September of 2017 and have been sending them my gas receipts on time every month since October of 2017 and have not received the first twenty five dollar gift card yet. I have tried calling a phone number that was given to me but it says the nuber is no longer in service. I also have sent emails to there web site and did receive an email back almost two months ago and was told that it was not a scam that they had major problems with there web sight and would soon have it fixed and every one would be getting there gas cards and would be satisfied with them. It is now the middle of March and still no gas cards and no emails saying they have received anymore of my gas receipts. Guess I was right to begin with that this in fact is a scam. I hope that the attorney general in Florida can do something about people like this.
I received a gasoline redemption voucher from Grand Crowne Resort for $300.00 in gas or merchandise to be issued by Gasoline Redemption Center. I received this voucher in Nov. 2017, sent my first set of receipts for gas at the end of December 2017, sent receipts for Jan. 2017, and Feb 2017, with no response from this company at all. The last receipts that were sent, were returned to sender.
thank you, Pat Champang
We were promised a rebate against receipts of $100 worth spent on gas, a gift card of $25.00 each month for a period of 6 months, we even received a confirmation they sent us it has been 4 months nothing no response to emails nothing
In November I sent them $5.00 to sign up for their program that I had qualified for through a car dealership. I sent in receipts for December, January and February. They never responded or sent anything. My February receipts were returned 'refused' by them.
I have e-mail which came back and their phone number is out of order. I guess the scam is over.
I have been sending in my gas recipets each month for 100.00 dollars to recieve my 25.00 gift card free and have yet to get one single gift card. This is my 5th month with no reply.
Have sent in original gas receipts for January and February 2017 and have not received any vouchers as stated in terms and conditions of contract. I guess I'm not the only one getting taken.
We received a certificate for $450 in free gas coupons after visiting a local auto dealer. We complied with the forms and during December and January sent in the first two months of gas receipts plus a $5 initial payment to begin the program. We have never received any of the free gas coupons which were promised. We tried to call the phone number but it was disconnected. We also sent an e-mail to the company but it was never answered.
Sending in receipts since Oct 2008
I have been sending in $100 worth of receipts since Octorer 2008 and have never received my $25 free gas card. They said they were having computer problems and that the cards would be sent out in Jan. I have not received one and now the toll free number to call them has been disconnected. This was from a travel agency that if I went and listened I would get this free gas. I think the Travel AGency's name is Sundance out of King of Prussia Pennsylvania. Can you please answer and get back to me [protected]@comcast.net.
Thank you
Barbara

Received a voucher through Best Buy for $300 in gas vouchers (12 months at $25). I did exactly as described mailing my receipts and voucher form every month on time and never received a gas card, nor information from the company on why.
My name is Felicia Jackson and I too was scammed in believing that I was going to get some money back for the gas that I put in my car. I received the gas cards when I bought my car which is a Suzuki Vitara. This company was nothing but a waste of time and money spent on stamps. I want every penny that was promised to me.
Give me a break Nicole...you have no intentions on helping, just delaying the inevitable! You should be ashamed!

Any complaints about this promotion are with the promotional company, NOT with the vendor who gave you the coupon. That vendor actually PURCHASED it from the promoter and was ripped off just like you were. Calling the manager of the dealership or travel agency other than to let them know about it (which I assure you, THEY KNOW), won't help collect the premium that you are due.
One major company that runs this nationwide (under many different names, so this may mean your company as well), filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy protection sometime in July 2009, if memory serves. Some major investor of theirs pulled back his funding of their business. They are suing him in turn, again if memory serves.
But collecting that free gas or groceries or whatever they set up for you...that will be impossible unless they win their suit against the investor...and that will be in court for a while.
Save your energy and time...they know, believe me.
"Myfreetravel.com" operates the rebate program through "gasrebate.net" and "groceryrebate.net". Their terms & conditions are typical as far as it can be confusing to the average consumer. However, the crux of the scam is the $9.95 registration fee which is refundable at $10.00 (yes, you end up getting 5 cents more AND only if you do not make any mistake). Yes, there is the "one mistake" clause and since most regular consumers would make a mistake, they keep the $9.95. Then at their discretion, you may still participate but any more mistakes will disqualify you, etc.

On October 20, 2009 the Better Business Bureau accreditation of Myfreetravel was suspended due to failure to fulfill and/or abide by BBB Membership Standards. The BBB has no reliability rating for Myfreetravel at this time as a result of consumer allegation patterns requiring investigation.

We need to blow the whistle on "myfreetravel.com" since it is eerily similar to scams that were confirmed just a few months ago. Valluebuzz and BBC Resource Management in Arizona as well as Tidewater Marketing of Florida come to mind.

This happened to my boyfriend and myself also. "NO GAS CARDS"!" Since Oct of 2008 we have been sending in receipts, one was returned unable to forward. The phone number is no longer valid when called. Promotional offer was offered by TowneChrysler Dodge Jeep on 5130 Camp Road in Hamburg, N.Y. [protected]. This has to be scam. I will contact the Attorney General's Office in N.Y. to see if this can be rectified and investigate the scam

My mother has been doing the same thing and the envelope is returned stating undeliverable.
The Riviera Hotel & Casino is still issuing these encouraging people to participate.
We are phoning the Riviera Hotel next to share with them to STOP doing this.
gas card redemption scam
I have sent several e-mails to these jerks asking for my gas cards that were promised through an promotion featuring Mediacom cable company, and they keep saying that "the sytem crashed", or " we are so back-logged, but keep sending in receipts".
I am filing a complaint with the states attorney office, because they have all of my debit card information that was reuired when I set up my account.
pissed-off-joe
I was offered that same promotion when me and my husband bought some furniture from Ashleys Furniture in Baker, LA back in September, 2008. We have been faithfully sending in our gas receipts and have not seen a dime yet. We also had gotten an email stating that their system crashed and they are working to get it back up and working. I also tried to send them an e-mail and it came back mailer-daemon. I feel like I have been scammed!
I have also fallen victim to this scam - and NOW the last email I sent was returned mailer-daemon ... HMMM
To whom it may concern:
We have faithfully (since November) been sending in receipts and receiving confirmation emails.
We have not seen 1 (one) Gift Card yet in return. Why is that? We were advised of your server issue but that all cards were to be shipped out by the end of January based on the email we received - see copy below:
>>Dear Valued Customer,
We have incurred a complete sequel server database crash; we are aggressively working just as fast as possible to get the newest system functioning properly to better service your account. These issues were unavoidable and unintentional. We have completed the new database software and are in the process of switching the new and the old. During this time you may experience telecommunication issues with our firm, as well as internet. We are currently creating a list of all cards due, which will be shipped between now and the last week of January 2009. Please allow 7 to 14 business days from then to receive your card(s). I understand this is a frustrating situation. You have all rights to be upset. However, keep sending in your receipts - our top priority is your satisfaction and assurance that you will receive everything owed to you. Sincerely,
Gasoline Redemption
joe has every right to be pissed off--i also have tried to contact these people with no luck--4 months now--they are constantly giving excuses and post none working phone numbers on their wed site www.gasolineredemption.com i have filed a complaint with the Office of Consumer protection in clerwater fl phone [protected]. i have e-mailed several times and each time i get a message that the mail cannot be delivered. this is definitely a scam--beware...
No gas card received as promised
What a hoax!
I have experienced the same problem as all of the complaintants.
I am willing to form a class action suit to get my $5.00 refunded.
It's not so much about the money, its the advantage being taken of innocent people. $5.00 can turn into millions if this csam continues!
I will be contacting my attorney for legal advice.

We got a voucher for freebeegas.com from graff motor auto sales in gladwin michigan..And the same thing they took our $5.oo and that was the last we heard anything . I agree class action law suit! can't believe well known businesses would put there reputations on the line with these scamming businesses..feel free to email me with any more information anyone might have of this. chadandmarcy24@yahoo.com
I am in the same boat. I was initially suspicious when our cable company Mediacom sent me the promotion in the mail. I should have listened to my inner voice warning me of the possible scam. I have been sending in my receipts since NOV 08, and like the rest of you, I have seen nothing either. Count me in for a class-action lawsuit (I seriously doubt we'll see anything from it).
This reminds me of another time when I was scammed out of nearly $400 when I paid a year's membership to a work-out facility who "knew" they were about to go out of business. I never saw a penny of that money lost!
I'm going to contact mediacom (or is it media-CON) to let them know that they should be more careful before partnering up with scam artists!
Email me at thundersnow93@yahoo.com if you'd like.

I am outraged that this scam. I've been sending in vouchers with gas receipts since Aug 2008 and received nothing. Called today - 800 numbers not working; viewed web site and called a "direct number" - it has been disconnected! How is this that a company can get away with this and the fact that a car dealership would promote this "rebate" is atrocious. smoslowitz@optonline.net
I would join a class action law suit as well. Its the principle not the $5.00. You can contact me at wnierz@gmail.com. I put my post on as well. I have had all kinds of things happen after paying with pay pal. My checking account was hacked into for porn and tried to hack my pay pal account as well. Thanks Wanda
Count me in as well. I have been sending receipts in for 4 months and have yet to receive anything. The phone numbers don't work and i just got a delivery failure from emailing them. What a scam. Please contact me at Trybefan24ksu@yahoo.com if you file a suit.
I am with you on this - if you file a suit please contact me at scampbell8320@comcast.net as of today their phone is not working and there is no website any longer - what a fricking scam
I have sent so many e mails to them is is unreal. I have received e mails back saying they are sorry they are behind. They even started sending my receipts back to me saying that I did not include the voucher which I know was BULLS>>T! I am so ticked off. I have not received anything and started sending my receipts in August of 08. To this day have not received anything but the run around. Class Action Lawsuit! I am IN!
Gas Cards Not Received
Our satellite provider, Dish Network, ran a promotion for $100 in free gas when you signed up with them. I went online, and signed up with Free Gas, as I was instructed. I mailed in $5 for processing, which was to be returned with my final month's gas redemption card. I was to receive four $25 gas cards--one each month for four months--and an extra $5 added to the last month's card. I sent in my redemption coupons that Free Gas provided, as well as my gas receipts, all within the proper time constraints for September, October, and November, and was to receive a gas card for each month within 28 business days. I have not received a single $25 gas card yet. I began trying to contact the company. No one answers their phone and their e-mail address is bogus.

ZURVITA is fronting the process selling Biz Paks with these incentives tied in. I sense it's a matter of time it will implode. Watch out!
I too was supposed to receive $25.00 gas cards. I sent in my last coupons at the end of FEbruary and yesterday I got it back in the mail marked return to Ssender refused unable to forward. Haven't been able to get anyone on the phone. I have never received a gas card and they took my $5.00 too. A class action suit would be fine!
Here is a website that will explain alot of what is going on. Definitely a scam.
http://www.gasolineredemptioncenter.com/gasrebate/
My father purchased a car last year and also received the gas voucher, he too sent in the receipts each month and he only has received 1 $25.00 card. He has not received the sept, oct, nov, dec or jan cards. It seems that the website is now takendown, all of the 800 numbers have been disconnected and also the direct line to them has been disconnected. it seems that this is a scam and like everyone else i would like my 5.00 back. I too called the dealership that my father purchased his car from and got a number from them and then i proceeded to call it and i got only an answering machine so i left my number and email address for them to call me. They said that they would call within 12 to 24 hours that time is alread up. The company that I was given to call is Allied Incentives. I was told on Jan 28 that the cards were going to be mailed out on the 30th but have not seen them as of yet. mjkf
I have had the same experience. I received a $450.00 voucher from a car deaership and I have in October and started sending in my $100.00 worth of gas receipts in November and December. I received a very confusing e-mail from Gasoline Redemption Center stating they had received my receipts and it wasn't exactly clear just when I would receive my gas gift card. I'm about to check with the dealership and try to find out what's up. Iwonder about all of the free $5.00 they got also. By the way I called the 800 number and it is disconnected. The website is not there either. jacyvo5
I purchased 4 tires through Tire Kingdom in November with the understanding that I would receive a gas card if I turned in gas receipts.
To date I have not received any gas cards and it has been almost 4 months.
None of the telephone numbers work, in fact they have been disconnected.
What is going on? I have contacted Tire Kingdom and will take it further.
I am having the same experience with the same company FreeGasCentral.com. I bought furniture from Ashley Home Stores in NJ. I checked the website and they stated that they are having difficulty with their 800 number and list anoter number which does not work either. The attorney general or someone has to investigate this since I also paid my $5! I am also going to a gas station that charges more jsut because it is a station that is part of the program.
I have had the same experience. I have sent in receipts since August 2008 and have only received one $25 gas card in return. My suggestion would be to get in touch with the dealership or whoever gave you the voucher. The car dealership that I received my $500 voucher from is working with their attorney's to try to get this sorted out. They suggested I keep sending receipts in the mean time and keep copies in case the company tries to come back saying we didn't follow the rules.
This is the same experience I have had after we purchased our vehicle from a Nissan dealership. We have complied with every aspect of the "voucher" and have sent in receipts for October, November, December and now January! Not one gas card has ever been sent to us. We have never been able to get anyone on the telephone and now it's looking like the company may have bailed on everyone who participated! I wonder how many "$5.00" sign up fees they've collected?!
Not receiving gas cards
I have not received my gas card & I am not getting any response nor am I able to find a contact number to talk to anyone about the program.

Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.
I too have been taken. I have sent in my receipts as directed and also they have my credit card # for the 5.00 initial fee to sign up.
So far, I am 80.00 in the hole. I made it a point to spend my gas money at the BP station ( which also was a few cents higher).
If you look at all the 5.00 fees they got, boy they should be rich from all of us suckers.
Kathy of GA.
P.S. Chatham Parkway Toyota was no help in this either. they were the ones who sponsered this 100.00 gas giveaway for test driving a car. When I called them about this rip off they just shrugged it off.
I just discovered this site. i've been waiting for gift cards from Dec 08through the present. Should have gotten something by now. E-mail to them was returned a undeliverable. i plan to contact the people who originally offered me this promotion and complain. Maybe I can something out of them.
I received my gasonline redemption of $150 from a car dealership in Summer of 2008. I have mailed in all six of my vouchers on time and have received e-mails that either 3 or 4 of them have been received and in good order. I did pay the $5. I want these people punished for what they have done to innocent Americans. The respective State Attorney General's owe it to the citizens of their state to put this practice to an end. I called the first number twice and were told that they were behind but they were working on it and should be only a couple weeks more. They have changed numbers TWICE, websites TWICE, and it is obvious that we will not be receiving the cards as was promised. I am a college student and was planning on these gas cards. THIS IS AWFUL.
I called and the operator said number none working
I email with receipt and no one has open my email
Has any one received any gas cards from these people,
James
I too have been waiting since Oct, 08 for any gas cards to arrive! I have faithfully mailed in receipts for over $100 in gas from Lukoil, along with my redemption coupon and have yet to see one gift card. I called on 2/3/09 - and after 40 minutes on hold - was told that their database had crashed in dec.08 and they were having problems since the summer - but that I should receive my first card in the mail in a few weeks. Yeah, right! Nothing...I too will file a complaint with the BBB or my state.
I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY GAS CARDS. I HAVE MAILED DEC., JAN., FEB AND NOW MY MARCH MAIL IN HAS BEEN RETURNED WHAT IS GOING ON
JAMES BINGHAM
i have got my gas coupons but haven't got the money that was promised what is wrong with this picture.
I am in the same boat with everybody else this is a scam, I sent in receipts for 12/8, 1/09 & 2/09. The dealership paid for everyone to enroll on the $5.00 fee so they said. Look at this as a blesinng in disguise they don't have our crdit card numbers and we only lost at the most the postage stamp. I am not sending them anymore receipts. I went to the dealership also and they said other peole had complained to them. Oh well I hope the Attorney get in touch with them and stop this scam. Those $5.00 do add up so they are making a killing even if it is only $5.00 that could have went toward some gas.
signing up for free gas vouchers
I received theircertificate from a local car dealer for going there to look at vehicles, with this card from freebeegas.com I would receive $300.00 worth of free gas from any gas station. So I went online and registered as instructed I was to print out the pages and send in a self addressed and stamped enveolope with a check or money order for the amount of $5.00 and all the infromation and their would sent me vouchers for each month and send those back with my gas receipts in to be reinbursed for any thing over $100.00., for each month up $300.00 worth etc. I sent all this on 10/14/08 Bank Check #01 [protected] for the five dollars and here it is 12/16/08 and I have heard nothing or received nothing so I have to believe that this company is another online rip-off deal. They can keep the five dollars because they really must need it more than I do! Keith Burnell, P.O.Box 153, Naples, Me. [protected].

I am one of the many who have been scammed by this company. I have sent in my $100 in gasoline receipts for October, November, December and January. Received an email conrfirmation of their being received stating that I'd get my $25 gas card for each submittal within 54 business days of their receipt. It is now mid-March and I have yet to see the first gas card. I've written letters, emailed (last of which was returned as undeliverable) and called the 800 number. Last time I tried that, I was told the number was not a valid number. The website states they are having problems with the 800 number and with email and give a NON toll free number which I have not yet tried. I do intend to join the group who are filing complaints with the Florida Attorney General's office and with the Better Business Bureau.
I got a card from an aauto dealer for $300 worth of free gas all I had to do was register, send in $5, and then mail in monthly receipts with my vouchers. I have been doing this for 4 months and I have never gotten my $25 per month gas cards. This is a big scam. The phone numbers are all disconnected now. Makes me wonder what they are doing with my receipts since I always pay with a debit card. Someone wrote that they are interested in organizing a class action law suit, is anyone else interested?
W HAT CAN I DO ABOUT THIS. I CALLED DEALERSHIP AND THEY WILL NOT RETURN MY CALLS. aNY INFO IS GREATLY APPRECIATED. pLEASE EMAIL ME AT jfisher24@msn.com

I have been sending in the required gas receipts since May '08.
I contacted them in Jan '09 and was told that there had been a problem with their computer and they had to rebuild their database. I was promised that they would forward me the $200 in gas cards that they owed me at that time.
Here it is April and my March receipts were returned in the mail - "Return to Sender / Refused / Unable to Forward"
To date, I've received $25 of the $275 that I was entitled to.
Chalk it up to another rip-off where the good nature of the consumer has been victimized.
I have been sending mine in since i purchased my truck in July 2008. I have been sending i receipts of $100 since then. For that a while they would email me that they received my receipts but then that stopped. I got a email that their computer crashed and then when i sent the receipts for march it came back I reeived the $500 gas card for purchasing the truck and i havent received anything.
I guess we were lucky...they did send us one check for $25. The fouth voucher I sent in was returned to me as refused. How did these auto dealerships get takin in?
i have been sending receipts in since jan.09
had my march returned not recvd a single
gift card
We agree--been sending in for 3 months now, and NOTHING!
