Succoured in by the prospect that The Federal Government has, in the past, and may again confiscate privately-owned gold except for antique coins, I contacted Goldline. After several discussions with account executive Geno Stephie, and receiving their printed material, I decided to make a purchase with a little more than $15, 000. I was told by Geno Stephie...

goldline Deception & OverCharged

A few months ago I purchased some gold from Goldline, I wanted to try and find a safe storage for my families savings. The account executive worked hard to convince me to go with numismatic coins. He used fear tactics regarding confiscation in the 30's/40's in the U.S. During the entire transaction he kept bringing up the "spot" price of gold. He never indicated any other price other than the spot price of gold. The coins are not exact so I figured I was paying the correct price. I purchased the gold and thought great I purchased a good spot price and felt good as the price soared.

However, recently I sat down because we were thinking about making another purchase and what I found when I was going over the records is that I paid almost DOUBLE SPOT PRICE. The account executive not only made an effort to bring up the spot price during the transaction but he also failed to bring up what they call the "spread". I only learned about the "spread" after I called to complain. A supervisor spent 30 minutes on the phone with me explaining the exact process. Obviously that is to little to late, the sales person apparently is supposed to go over that with the consumer. Unfortunately for me it appears that Goldline could not care less, the supervisor apologized but said there was nothing he could do. I come to find out that on my purchase they even charged more than their stated "spread" which the max apparently is 35% and they charged 59%!

I'm going to seek legal counsel and see if there is any action I can take. But it's just sad because we put our savings in to that purchase and we definitely got taken advantage of by the sales person.

Since posting this complaint, Goldline has been working with me to resolve my matter. At this point they have done everything I asked them to do and we are in the process of final resolution. The Business Affairs department of G.L is excellent and really did a great job.

goldline Misinformation

I like so many others were taken in by their sales pitch. They also took the money out of my account
and the result was an overdrawn account, which cost me a lot of money in overdrafts.I cannot even get
on line with them, because they haven't given me the codes on line to get in.So as far as a company goes
I think this one sucks. They lie to your voice and to you. They also changed my recording so as I would
hear what they wanted me to hear not what I said. This company thinks people won't remember what
they said, and yes this company is a rip off.

I just happened to look up on here and see the tremendous amount of complaints from people who we have tried to help. I work for usgoldine. I love my job and I love helping people. All of the complaints stem from the same thing. The $25o dollar deposit. If people pay attention and listen this is what they would hear:"There are no processing fees to get the account, we just require that u do use it because there are costs for us to set up and maintain ur account for you, so to make sure of that "you" have a one time opening balance deposit of 250 dollars. That is something that you, (the customer) has to put down in order to receive the account. It is not our fault that customers misconstrue or misinterpret what we say. We even do a digital recording that also states this, states this is not a credit card, loan, etc. and people fail to listen. If u agree to something you say you understand, when in actualality you don't then that is your fault. We do the recording for our protection as well as yours. We provide a great service for those who want help and we have plenty of satisfied customers. For those of you who feel cheated, scammed, lied to, etc. Remember this is your fault. Make sure that u listen to what people say, as well as the digitally taped portion. These things are here to help both parties. But how can it help if u don't listen? My point exactly. While your pointing your finger as us remember how many fingers are pointing back at you.

I cant believe these people actually think they are running a business. After yelling at these people for about half an hour i cancelled the whole account. What this extended line of credit is, is money you can only spend on there website. I was promised that the money would be placed directly into my bank account, that was not what i recieved. I dont understand how people can to this to one another. Kinda makes me not want to live in this country anymore. I am a staff sergeant with the u.S. National guard operator of the unmanned aerial attack unit- my ? Is- why am i risking my life protecting these people when they are stealing money from me?

So USGoldline ripped me off too, ive already posted a pretty big complaint about them already on this website, here goes number 2.
The company already took my money and i thought that were was nothing else that could happen. i had no money in my account and they deducted $12 from my account which made several things bounce. i changed my entire account information thinking i now had the last laugh. i just tried to use my usgoldline card online to use the money they authorized me to use and it did not go through! this is because they want to deduct the money from your bank right away, without using anytime of credit of theirs what so ever!

THIS COMPANY IS BS- DO NOT BE FOOLED-USGOLDLINE IS A FRAUDULANT COMPANY!

I received a phone call stating that i was now qualified to receive a credit card with an alloted amount of $2, 500 dollars after one year and an initial line of $1, 000 within the first year. i was promised i could activate the card immediately upon arrival and withdraw an advance. I was looking forward to using this money to pay off some bills and just have one big bill. I have been working on building up my credit and thought it was great when a company called USGoldline offered to give me a credit card with an inital $1, 000 limit if I let them deduct $250 from my checking account. I was not suspicious at all because I have been rebuilding credit for some time now, and was going to use the limit of my goldline card to pay off my bills. Also, the card would allow me to get cash advances for up to $2, 500 dollars.I was told that the card was affiliated with Mastercard and did financing through Wells Fargo. So, as someone who was desperate to rebuild my credit i allowed them to deduct the money. I was promised the card within 7 business days and did not receive anything. I began to look up information about this company to see if there were others who also had waited longer than usual for their card and it was then that I found this site. I was shocked and embarressed. After about three weeks, I received my card and low and behold there was no credit logo on the card, and i found out that the only way advances were possible were by activiating your card online on their website. So still i tried to get the cash advances and was dooped again. the activation card site only connects you to online applications you can fill out to try and get an advance. it does not guarantee any money. so after all this i called their office and spoke to several representatives and found out that their company has no affiliation with mastercard or wells fargo banking. i spoke to my banker and was told that because i authoried the amount to be decucted from my card that i could not get the money back. so i accepted it until today. i realized that i owe more than $100 dollars in overdraft fees because my account went over the limit because a monthly amount was deducted to run a credit check. i DID NOT AUTHORIZE THIS TRANSACTION. I had to close out, my entire account to ensure that no one else from that company could do this again.
if there are others pursuing this company in any way shape or form, please contact me via email. this is not fair and no one else should have to lose out on money this way again, especially the way our economy is today. Lets ban together and bring these jerks down!
