Did not complete contract
Griffith's Tree Service quoted me a price of $3400 to remove 3 trees, trim 2 trees, remove all the debris and grind the three stumps. We signed a contract on August 19, 2012. They started work immediately, finsihed the tree removal and trimming, removed the debris, but after dozens of calls to John Madden and Ken, and numerous broken promises, the stumps are still not removed as of 9/28. They have blocked all calls and will not return messages. These guys are crooks. The tree service is under Sony Griffith's (John's wife). The phone number is [protected]. They want all the money upfront on the day they start. Run from this company.

I signed a contract with Griffith's Tree Service in Orlando on August 19, 2012 to have three trees removed and two trimmed. The job was to include tree removal, limb and debris removal and stump grinding. After more than thirty days, dozens of calls and a number of broken promises, the stumps still have not been removed. These people are now wanted for exploitation of the elderly! I strongly urge you both to file charges with either your local police departments regarding what happened or the winter park police department which is where the current charges are pending. His name however is john Hadden not madden. They use griffiths because that is his wife's last name..big time scammers! The other guys name is Kenny Caron. I am so sorry for what happened to you both and urge anyone else that got conned by these folks to come forward as soon as possible!
