Complaint
I bought a package on January 1, 2023 in Nassau Bahamas at the Goldwyn resort. I have sent numerous emails, call and no one have gotten back to me. Today is January 3, can someone please inform me how to cancel the membership. Ryan told us we would receive 4 free vacation, he told us we would have the option to upgrade but after spending quality time doing...

This company is a bunch of crooks. We went to Cancun and stayed at the terrible Grand Oasis Palm, part of the vacation club. From first day they chased us for a club membership (their wording for timeshare) and promised tickets to Spa and WiFi access. We did the timeshare (2.5 hrs as opposed to the 60 min they promises) and not even worth 10 minutes of our time (expensive, low quality based on what we've seen). Thank god we didn't buy anything because later on we found out how much of crooks they are. We had to chase people around to get the promotion. We got a WiFi password 2 days later that only works in the Lobby. They sent us to an office to get the Spa tickets 2 days later and that's when we met the worst employee of LifeStyle Vacations, Sheila, who should be fired immediately. She made us imaginary Spa reservations and when we went they didn’t have reservations and told us we were supposed to have vouchers. We went back to Sheila who spoke to us while on the phone and was extremely rude and obnoxious then had the nerve to ask us to close the door after we leave. I guess her personal call was more important than her job… What a terrible experience.
Misrepresentation
We were very impressed with the location and presentation at Puerta Plata. However, we had time shares with Diamond Resorts and did not want to spend money at the time. Our maintenance fees were payable in three (3) weeks. We were told that Lifestyle would pay for those fees and we would not be liable for the 2012 fees. We were also told that the transfer cost for our timeshare(s) would be no more than $80.00 per time share. When we got home we found out that we were still liable for the 2012 maintenance fees and that the cost for each transfer was $425 (over five times the amount quoted).
We have been trying to get some restitution, but have not even been able to obtain a name and/or address of any one in top management. I am now in the process of writing to the local chamber of commerce and the better business bureau. I do not expect to get any satisfaction, but hope those organizations will prevent others from receiving the same type of misinformation (LIES) that we did
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Went thru basically the same thing lies and deceit we were told they would pay off our timeshare and that is the only reason we bought into it later found out they were lying so now we have two payment because we still owned the same timeshare and then they said they do not pay off time shares we didn't say that. And talk real nasty and crazy and now we are stuck and this just happen in July of this year I wish it was something we all could do . Didn't know about the scam until I started reading

Lifestyles Holidays Vacation Club (VHVC) are out of Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic but they are expanding and starting to go to other locations like Cancun. Their representatives will make all kinds of promises of great rooms, experience, food, and VIP treatment but they are all lies. We bought into their promises and got the total opposite. They show you beautiful rooms but know that their is no guarantee that you will get one like that. They make you pay for all-inclusive daily and it ends up costing you thousands of dollars! They are scamming a lot of people out of money and since they are out of the Dominican Republic it is very hard to take legal action. Do yourself a favor and book through anyplace else like expedia.com or Airbnb.com (great rooms for great prices) instead of going through them. It is really all a scam just to get money out of people you end up paying more for you trip going through them. What they show is no guarantee of what you get.
