Mr. Car LLC Sold me a jacked up truck!

I bought an overpriced and put down $3000 on a 2002 Ford Explorer with over 100, 000 miles in the end of Jan 2010. By Sept 2010 the transmission went out. I let Mr. Car LLC know the prob, left several messages for the owner Daniel and he never returned my calls. Put the truck in the shop and was told that the transmission case had been somehow glued back together which is an automatic sign that the truck had been messed up before I got it. According to the carfax it was one owner car. I let Mr. Car rep know that it is going to cost $3000 to fix the transmission and I need sometime to be able to fix the piece of crap they sold me and I; can;t pay the car note until then. Daniel agreed. After trying to say the $1000 deposit up to get the car out of the shop because I had to keep renting a car for 2 months to transport my family where we needed to go (school, work) on Nov 27th I finally got the car out of the shop. I wake up Dec 2nd to find that the car had been repo'ed. I called Mr. Car on Dec 3rd and asked why they had taken the car when we had an established agreement. I told them that if they wanted the car they could have gotten it from the repair shop before I paid the $1000 deposit and put up 5 post dated checks for the balance. I was told by the payment rep that they waited on purposed to repo the car so they wouldn't have to fix and they don't know of any agreement and in order for me to get the car back I have the pay them $1097 and if I don't want it back I have the tow company $50 to get my personal belongings and tags out of the truck. They are a rip off! They went back on the agreement and purposefully waited until I paid to repair the car.

Mr. Car LLC Sold me car with transmission problems and won't take responsiblity

I bought an over priced 2002 Ford Explorer in late Jan 2010 that had well over 100, 000 miles on it. I put down $3000 and still owed over $5, 000. They toted that it was a one owner car. In Sept 2010 the transmission went out. I called Mr. Car to let them know what happened. They told me to leave a message with Daniel, the owner. I left message after message for him and everytime I called they had an excuse as to why he wasn' t there. After one communication from the I put the truck in the shop. Once there the transmission expert tells me that the casing that houses the transmission has been somehow glued back together. The signaled to me that this truck was knowingly damaged before I bought it. I let Mr. Car know that they sold me an f*cked up truck and there was no way that I could the repair for bill on the truck with was $3000 and the car note especially since I couldn't drive it. Daniel agreed. After renting cars for two months trying to save up the $1000 deposit needed to get the truck out of the repair shop of 11/27/10 I get the truck back. I wake up 12/02/10 and notice that the truck is gone. Mr. Car had repo'ed it after I spoke with Daniel and had an agreement with him. I called them once they opended on 12/03/10 to aske why they repo'ed the car after Daniel made an agreement with me and asked them that if they wanted the car back why didn't they take it from the repair shop during the past two months its been sitting there. The lady who takes the payments told me that pretty much waited until I repaired the transmission so that when they repo'ed it Ithey wouldn't have to fix it and that they don't know of any agreement. Also in order for me to get the truck back I have the pay them $1, 097 and if I don't want it back I have to pay the tow company $50 to get my personal belongings and tags off of the car. They people are crooks who prey on people who can get traditional financing. They need to be stoppped and held accountable!
