Norwich Discount Oil Failed to Deliver & charged extra fee

I placed a phone order on a Friday and paid by Credit Card for a next day delivery. They never showed up, so by Saturday afternoon I phoned to inquire. They said they had no order for delivery for me and if I wanted oil I had to pay an extra $65 dollar fee.

As it was already Saturday evening and a storm was coming, I had no choice but to pay again! They promised that I would be able to call the office on Monday morning and get the $65 dollars refunded. I called the office on Monday, and they refused to refund the money! They said there was no paperwork to verify that I ever placed the original order.

They are a rip off and extremely unprofessional. The delivery guy told me he had six phone calls with similar complaints from customers the same night as me. That only goes to show how unorganized and unprofessional they are.

I will never user them again, they aren't worth it!

Norwich Discount Oil Rip off

They have a discount price for over 150 gallons, but magically run out at 149. They tell you if you don't make them come back to finish filling they will give you an additional discount next time..Yeah right, make them come back! The price of oil doubled since my last partial fill up and they say they no nothing of this extra discount for bending me over last time.. Try to be nice and they do you. I have heard of others having similar issues with these guys, and after looking at previous deliveries I see there is definitely a pattern. Buyers beware and don't cut slack to anyone. I don't know if it is the drivers or the company, but either way they got me. In reply to the post of only giving 50 gallons, look at your receipt.

Norwich Discount Oil was scheduled to deliver oil to us on Monday morning. 1st they claimed that somebody had called and cancelled the order. Then they claimed that they atemtped to call several times to confirm address and when there was no confirmation they cancelled the order. We were home all day on the day when they were attempting call - no calls were received.

On Wednesday the oil tank ran dry and when we called they came up with the first story - Then the next day on Thursday they came up with the second story. They also said that they had refunded my account - which did not happen till after we called - then when asked who was going to pay for bleeding the oil line they said it was not their problem and that I would have to pay the extra fee.

Oil was delivered on Thursday - the driver was supposed to bleed the line - but he did not have the tools. They Charged my account $22 more than the agreed price for the oil - they also even after driver was unable to bleed the line charged me for that service another $35.

During My phone calls to Norwich Discount oil I was lied to and and when I pressed for more information the dispatcher was rude to me and hung up on me.
