Software downloads worthless
They advertise scanning software to clean up files and speed up your computer - however my experience after purchasing and running their software was exactly the opposite. Many time computer stalls or shut down and everyday performance (Windows XP) was terrible until I had the machine inspected by a local geek who's first suggestion on seeing my icons was to "get rid of that". To add insult, Pareto ignore fax messages asking for help. I would never buy from them again and suggest you research more deeply than I did.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Fraud and scam
First I bought RegCure, and Pareto PC came with it. As others have indicated, RegCure is useless. Pareto PC is supposed to clean up unnecessary files. When I first used it, I found there was no relation between the files it found and what was actually in the folders involved. In addition to not working well, Pareto software is very difficult to remove. I was not able to totally get rid of the software until I redid the system on a new hard drive and transferred only programs and data that I needed. There appeared to be a rootkit that I couldn't remove.
I had the same exact experience. I even bought a subscription. Tanked my machine. I too, will research more thoroughly.
