PARX Casino continues to be number one alright. Number one in classless **** holes that is. Not only are the slot payouts atrocious, the comps are equally as disgusting and the customer service as always the worst I have ever seen anywhere. They always have issues with their HVAC systems. Patrons smoke anywhere they want (including non-smoking areas) without intervention from security and staff. This is totally unacceptable.
I recently went there for a giveaway. Their marketing is absolutely deplorable. There is never enough product available for their giveaways where I always end up being offered minimal free play. I would much rather have the product than a measly 10 dollars. At least I would have something to show for my play, since their machines never pay out. Also, casinos are known for their excellent food venues. Parx's food venues on the other hand are far from that type of quality. I actually became violently ill after eating at Foodies. Food was cold and very undercooked. Service was as slow as molasses. It took 25 minutes to get a lousy cheeseburger, which was by far the worst I have ever had. I would have been better off going to the McDonald's or Burger King down the street. Except for the bottled beverages, their fountain drinks were always flat, full of ice and no refills allowed.
Not long ago, I was playing a machine that had a large major jackpot. An African American ghetto couple was pacing back and forth around my vicinity. I ran low on money and with my card and remaining money still in the machine, I stepped away to go to a MAC machine which was just a few steps away. It took me no more than 2 minutes to get some money and to come back to the same slot machine with my card and money still in it. When I returned, I found that same couple playing my machine with my money and card still in it. When I approached them, I screamed at them to let them know I was playing here. Then this lowlife African American man verbally threatened my life telling me to get away, where he was going to "f__k me up", when I explained to him and his wife that they stole my machine with my money and card still in it. I then asked them if they even bothered to check to see if someone was using the machine before helping themselves to it. Naturally, some 4-eyed doofus dork of a patron came over who was not even involved and had no clue as to what happened, brought security over, due to the excessive shouting between myself and this couple. The security guard, who was also African American, did absolutely nothing to resolve this matter, except take the couple's side which made me so incredibly irate. I only wished the Police were there so I could have pressed criminal charges. I kick myself today for not pursuing this further with the proper authorities. I do take any kind of threats, especially towards my life very seriously and highly condone PARX and their management team for the ill manner I was treated, and hold them fully accountable for allowing this to ever happen. On a footnote, just recently, and all over the news, PARX's great security staff allowed someone to get beat up in the parking lot, where he collapsed. He nearly died before authorities came to his rescue. And just think, all of this could have been easily prevented, had security done their job. So if any of you out there who think this place is safe, THINK AGAIN...
So my advice to all of you people out there who are considering going to this garbage dump of a casino, please do not trust anyone. Including the casino staff. There are many other casinos out there that treat you so much better, and reward you very generously, and are also much safer. Not PARX, by a longshot! Not only does PARX not pay out, I found out, you can also risk your own life. The reality is that PARX management and staff could not care less about you, except for the money you are dumping into their stingy, greedy pockets. As I found out through a very dear friend of mine who suffered the same experiences I have at this very casino, if you as much as complain to management, they will permanently ban you from their property. That certainly is not my idea of exceptional customer service. I would think they would want to more than anything, make every effort in improving, rather than punish those who are just voicing their honest opinions. Many excellent ideas and suggestions do come from the outside. PARX management needs to thoroughly understand that, and accept the fact that that they are not always right.
worst place to work
It is an absolute horrible place to work. They treat their staff very bad they discrimanate, And favor people. No raises they don't do anything for their employees. Don't ever work there!
I used to go to Parx all the time . But I got tired of depositing my money in their slots without ever a decent win .This is the tightest casino I have ever seen . Besides their ridiculously tight slots, their comp and free play is a joke . With all the thousands of dollars I have given them . I am lucky if I got a hot pretzel
. I will never go back unless something changes . It is only 40 minutes from my house . But I will drive the extra hour to go to Sands or Atlantic City . At least there I may sometimes come home a winner plus I get a great meal and comp rooms .
Ordered two side orders of mash potatoes in foodies.. the girl named Kinsey took my order and money.. OK fine I waited about 10 minutes.. .10 minutes went by then 30 minutes went by... then she tells me they ran out.. she should of told me in the beginning that they ran out instead of making me to wait 30 minutes then tell me they ran out..sorry to say very very bad business practice ..employees working in Foodies should be retrained if they can't serve customers
Parx is absolute garbage. Not only are the parking lots full of beer bottles and trash, the inside is full of cigarette smoke and ashes all over the place. The slots, tables are as tight as I have ever seen them. Their food offerings suck. Usually casinos are known for their restaurants and fine dining. Not PARX by a long shot. Their promotions are the absolute worst where they always run out of product. An example was the Kenneth Cole giveaway. Many people, including myself were jilted out of the promotional giveaway, due to the marketing geniuses at PARX not ordering enough. And their comps are the absolute lowest I have ever seen at any casino. Having been a loyal patron since 2006, I have seen PARX go from being great to one of the very worst places on the face of the earth. As a result of my complaints to management, I was permanently banned. This is so incredibly unfair and absolutely no way to do business. If I were a manager of this casino, I'd take all complaints into consideration and find a way to correct the problems instead of punish those of us who simply speak the truth. Parx management have absolutely no sense of urgency when it comes to fixing the problems that patrons complain about day after day. They simply don't accept, or show any ability to take any type of constructive criticism. That is very sad. I really feel sorry for this place, and the patrons who they continue to rip off and mistreat. This casino is simply not worth it and don't deserve any of my patronage.
Just leaving parx casino after going there on last wednesday thursday friday and then again tonight just to win nothing not even fifty dollars between me and my husband. Yea we both play we lost over 1000 dollars within those few days on our way home i decided to read the reviews and i didnt see not one good review i come up from chester i go to parx because ×hen i was going to harrahs in chester i saw certain people hitting machines or maybe their credits were really high after seeing this for a period of time i decided to do a lifetime ban im not saying i expect to win all the time but wow all im saying is our skin color might be different but our money is the same its. A shame i thought parx was different because when i started going up there i did good and when i walled around i saw a little of all races winning boy that really changed think its time to do another lifetime ban
manager at turf club oaks, pa. horrible manager, can't manage sht. pushes everything on to other people so if someone is to get in trouble, blame is on them. sneaky, and dirty is how they play with people that would like to work there, they get shafted big time. so ridiculous is how this place is managed! or NOT MANAGED AT ALL! can any one say checkmate! just a fkig game is all the play there.
I have going to Parx Cas'ino since they open and were at the smaller casino. First let me say that at the old casino there was a chance that you could win something, but since they opened the new money pit...no one wins. My mother, sister and lots of friends have gambled at the New Parx and lost lost lost. The free play and extra play are a disgrace to your intelligence. Compared to other casino's Parx should be condemned for the safety of your finances! At some point patrons should win something and be able to enjoy their visit. At Parx Casino almost all patrons go home sad! What they do to senior citizens should be against the law. If there is a PA Casino Commission they should monitor Parx Casino! This Casino will destroy YOU!
I went to your casino on Sunday [protected] for a little fun and gambling with your limited amount of tables i couldn't sit down to gamble cause u allow players to play more than one chair at a time on the blackjack tables. While this ok if there is no one waiting to play but if other people are waiting to play you should make the other person give up one of there hands so other people can play. This one table had two people player two hands at once while we r waiting to play not fair i travel down there for fun and relaxation and cant even gamble . I think this very unfair i talked to a pit boss of the tables and he said that is the rule well what about the other people who came down there to gamble and to top it off one of the people who was playing two hands got very rude and nasty. I lived in Langhorne and moved away. Always went to the casino. I was back this weekend for a visit. I see things havent changed. I never won anything before and I still did not win this weekend. Terrible casino. They just take your money and pay out little money. Walking around I did not see one person with a winning machine waiting to be paid. Go to the Pittsburgh casinos. They really do pay a lot more than Parx. Plus they give you much better customer service.
casino ticket redemption machines WHEN I TRY TO CASH OUT MY TICKET...MECHINE LOST SIGNEL AND BLACK OUT, I HAVE $280 AND SOME CHANGE. MECHINE ONLY GIVE $100 AND CHANGE . I LOST $180. I MADE COMPIANT AND THEY TOLD ME TO COME NEXT WEEK. THIS PEOPLE NOT GIVE ME MY MONEY. THEY TAKE $180.

You are 100% correct about Parx I have been a patron there for a good part of 4 years always play a favorite machine of mine when you get into a bonus round not all the tiles work its been like that since I can remember. Their promotions and x-tra play is a joke you would think that at least once one would get lucky and pick a large slot prize no way its a come-on just to draw you in. X-Tra play is also a joke what Parx needs is new owners to clean-up, repair and re-hire new help. The slot machines are so tight you can easily loose a substantial amount of money which I have done numerous times but winning a large sum is virtually impossible, My overall opinion stay away its as bad as the above posts say. Parx is #1 the #1 xxxx-xxxx in PA. Go elsewhere at least the other local casinos gives you a chance to win Parx is a never ending vacuum cleaner that just sucks all your money.
