SCAM, CROOKS
This company is horrible! I was going to be 2 weeks late on my payment, this company recently took over my loan from a crappy buy here pay here place in AZ.
I called them an let them know i was going to be late, and scheduled for the late payment as well as my upcoming payment. The total after late fees was 720$, when i spoke with the rep named Sarah she asked me how i am going to pay 720$ and she said isn’t that going to put me behind on other bills? I ignored her odd unprofessional statement and said just set the payment up.
When the time for the payment came i noticed an insufficient funds on my bank account, but the money was in there. So I replaced the 35 dollar fee and added another 50$ to my account just in case. A few days passed and i once again noticed another insufficient fee?! So i called to ask them what was going on and how much exactly are they trying to run the payment for. Sarah then said don’t you remember our conversation on the 23rd? I said no, we did not speak on the 23rd. Sarah said she called me on the 23rd, I yelled at her and said why would i make my payments and why is making payments so important, oh and i also said to just take my van and that I didnt think it was such a big deal, she also said i was transferred to loan officers who said that i can overnight my payment or it would be set up for repossesion, but she said i said I don’t want to pay it anymore. I asked her to let me hear this conversation i supposably had with her and she told me i would need to contact a lawyer to hear it. I said so your not going to let me make a payment, and she told me they do not want to deal with people like me and they are taking my van. I asked her why she can flat out lie to my face about the conversation and i want to hear it, she said contact a lawyer and the call dropped.
I have never been so mad in my life, and I am still flabbergasted at how someone can flat out lie and say I had a conversation with them.. it blows my mind. I would like to contact a lawyer but do not have the time, resources or money for that.. and I’m sure she knew that when she refused to let me listen to this conversation I guess I had while I was sleeping.. I can’t imagine how someone could be so cold hearted, this company is not reliable, they are flat out con artists!
I never spoke with her, she never called me. I had no missed calls or received calls from the company. I do believe she may have messed something up, possibly even ran it for more then she should have, but in order to cover her butt she needed to make up some crazy conversation with me, however in order for me to hear this "conversation" i had, i need to contact a lawyer. Which as i said, is more then its worth.. however i would LOVE to see their reaction if i did hire one, and i would love to hear this conversation i had.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

Almost a year ago, I traded in my 2005 Chevy Cavalier Coupe (it was financed through United Finance and was always paid on time) for a four door car since putting a newborn into a car seat in a two door vehicle is beyond difficult. I went through a used car dealership since, beyond my trade in, I only had $900 for a down payment. At this point, I had never...

This sounds A LOT like my experience with them last week. I have gone around and around with these people about a few different things over the last year and a half, and I'm sick of dealing with them. The latest situation was close to what you described. I had set an ACH payment through the website for 7/12, which was deducted on 7/15. I was paid direct deposit on 7/12, and my check went through about 1:40 am. All should have went off without a hitch. So, imagine my surprise when I got a letter on the 18th saying my "payment was returned" and a $25 charge was added! WTF? I called and talked to some customer service rep, who attempted to give me the run-around with some confused babble. So, I called back later in an attempt to talk to one of the sales managers, and got some other lady who was trying to talk circles too. She said, "there must've been a first attempt, and it didn't go through." I told her I talked to my bank before I called, and they assured me there had been no other attempt, besides the final one on the 15th. I said, "you sure you guys aren't just trying to pin on another $25 'bonus' for yourselves?" She finally asked me what time my direct deposit went through, and I told her the time, and she said, "Oh! Well, our payments go through right away." I said, "you mean like midnight?" She said, "Yep, at midnight." Hmmm . . . that's funny the payment went through at 5:45am on the 15th. Maybe there was a first attempt, maybe there wasn't. It seemed like she was just trying to placate me, and use my words to settle the matter. The whole thing just seemed off to me. Like I said before, this isn't the first time I've had issues with them. Rather than trying to work with their customers, like a reputable custumer service business . . . they just try to use confusion and smoke screens to cover their butts. They suck. I will be double-ing my payments to get my car payed off sooner rather than later. Oh . . . and paying by check. I can see them trying to use this one over and over in the future. Then I can get forget all about Un-Reliable Credit.
