Dec 2015- Jan 2016 With veluxa order slipped in another cream skinology. Only one order number for both. When received Veluxa called to cancel the order number. Customer service said that order number did not exist as well as my name did not exist. Finally battled through and got cancellation. But they only cancelled Veluxa and not the Skinology I found out when I received another Skinology. Called again, theyt ried to talk me out of all cancellation, questioning me on use and finally I said" save your breath I called to cancel and that is what I want to do and nothing else." Charged my credit care $99 on the same day I cancelled skinology. I called to request a refund with the first cancellation number I was given. They would not refund product. Said it was too late because I cancelled but they charged my account the same day I cancelled. Major Scam.
Skinology Snake Venom Peptide Cream
This is embarrassing for me to admit, because I am so careful about signing up for anything, but I want everyone to know what happened, so here goes. On 12/5/15, I was on Facebook when an article came up on my daily feed about Dr. Phil's wife and how she betrayed him. I clicked on the page and read about how she went against his wishes by telling people what her beauty regimen was when he didn't want anyone else to know. It was based on an article in some womans magazine. They had the titles of many magazines that had supposedly written articles on this cream pasted at the top of the page. The cream had gotten really great reviews when you mix these two creams together. You had to use both creams together for them to work. But when I advanced to another page after I put in my contact information, it was for a different titled face cream altogether - it was Skinology. So I thought, what the heck, it's only $5.00, so I signed up for the $4.95 free trial and then it tried to get me to buy another cream for around $40.00 and I said no to that, gave it my PayPal Debit card number and then that was that. I also got an email confirmation afterward. What was confusing was how the products were switched. What they claimed on the first page was not the name of the product that I ordered. I went back through the ad and couldn't figure it out, why was there a totally different product, and where was the second one that I was supposed to mix? So then, I started doing a search of this name and found out that Robin McGraw already had a skin care product to her name and it was not this one and I realized that I had been had. I further searched and found complaints about how others were getting further shipments and charges to their charge card after 14 days. I never at any time saw anything about further shipments. I am so careful about these things, I read everything. The minute I see that there will be further shipments on any ad, I never sign up. THERE WERE NO WARNINGS ABOUT THIS! I cannot believe that Facebook would even allow this ad on their site. On 12/8/15, I get an email that my product has shipped. A few days after it arrived, still within the 14 days, I called the number on the label - [protected]. I was obviously calling India and the woman said that she had a sister with my name - Melissa! I realized that this was just smooth talk to feel more personal with me and I told her that I wanted to cancel. I must have talked to her for 10 minutes, she would not let me cancel any further orders, said that I did not have enough time to try the product and that she was going to extend my trial time to January 8th. I needed to call back on January 7th and cancel then if I wanted to. Obviously she was hoping that I would forget to call and then charge me. So today, on January 7th, this being THE BIG DAY, I called ready for their crap. Told the lady named Marie in India that I wanted to cancel and it once again turned into a 10 minute phone call with her trying to give me other offers, and lowering the price many times, down to $40.00. She was asking me what my hope was for the cream, and I did not give her any answers because then again she would probably continue my free trial. So I told her that I was not going to answer any of her questions and I got very heated throughout the whole ordeal and told her to cancel any future orders or I would cancel my debit card. One point she told me that there was no need for my nasty attitude, and I said that there was, because they were trying to scam me. So finally after much banter back and forth, she told me that she cancelled any future orders and I hung up. About 5 minutes later, I received an email from the company cancelling my order from [protected]@gethealthyskintoday.com.. I hope that I am rid of them. I was in luck in that I used a debit card to pay them the first time, so if I do not have money in the account, they cannot take it out. Then I will get an email from PayPal refusing the payment for no funds, but unfortunately, they can leave a hold on it. I will cancel my PayPal Debit card if they try and put a charge on. For the cream: I really did like it for filling in wrinkles around my mouth and eyes.

unauthorized charge
Ordered a free trial and just paid shipping. They charged my account today 89.95. I called to return and they would not do it. They were going to send me more. I never consented to this outrageous charge and to more shipments. You can buy this junk for 1/2 the price other places, I just found out. They claim that all of this info was In the small print underneath credit card info.
Scam
The trial is a total scam, product did not work and they would not allow me to return the product and charging me for the product even though I was within the guidelines for the 14 day trial period. Complete run around with customer service, people from India reading from a script and trying to offer me food coupons as compensation for charging me for the product but would not refund me? Totally disgusted by the dishonesty.
My bank to stop payment on my account and issue me a new card so they will not continue charging me, hours spent reassigning all my automatic payments to my new card, $25 fee from the bank to do this, what an ordeal for a free trial. Usually I don't fall for scams, but everything seemed legit with the terms and conditions. Hopefully this complaint will deter others from having to go through this. There is so much more prosperity and abundance when operating in truthfulness and right action, why companies choose to operate in dishonesty is beyond me?
This company is a totally FRAUDULENT! PLEASE Don't fall for the free trial offer. They ship you the full month supply the minute you give them your credit card number and you cannot cancel the trial offer. I contacted Skinology at [protected] and told them to cancel the auto ship enrolment 5 times and they said that they would refund me a percentage of my payment. They did not do either of these things. I had to contact my credit card company and stay on the line for 1 hour and 15 minutes to get them to cancel the auto ship enrolment and refund me half of my money. 47.50
I'm glad I came here before I tried calling the company. I got the 4.95 free trial, too. Something told me not to do it but I did it anyway. There was NO fine print. There was NO agreement to continue receiving the product over time or to sign up for such. I am on low fixed income. I have my rent check auto-paid and my hearing aids auto-paid. After that's gone, I have only about a hundred dollars for everything else. So now, I get hit with charges for 92.93 (TRONIDERMBEAUTY in CA, phone is [protected]) and 89.95 (LCCARALLUMA in AZ, phone is [protected]). These charges went through a little before the Skinology company's supposed closing time on January 1, and of course when I called the numbers they said the company is closed for the holidays and to call back Monday through Friday 9 to 6 EST. Now that I've come here and seen the recommendation to have someone from the bank call them to document their fraudulent activity, I'm going to call my local branch Monday and ask them if they'd please call. I cancelled my debit card through my bank's 800 number, but the rep said it the debit has to post first before it can be disputed. Once it's disputed, it can take 3 to 10 days to refund it to my account if they determine it was fraudulent. In the meantime, not only am I hanging by my fingernails anyway, I've got to drive 843 miles round trip to go stay with my 73-year-old sister while she has major prolapse surgery, and I was worried enough about having the funds to cover the gas to get there. These "people" are CRIMINALS, and I told the bank rep so. This is causing me no end of distress!
It is out of character for me to fall for scams, and I wish I had read all of the complaints before I signed up for the "free" trial. I concur with all of the above complaints, and went through the same run around with a woman I could barely understand, and also tried to blame me for not reading the fine print. She tried to refund me 50%, and I demanded to be refunded the full amount. I also got a cancellation code. This was charged to my credit card, and a rep from the credit card company is the one who made the call, and recorded it. I suggest you don't call the bogus company yourself, but have a credit card or bank rep make the call. My card company assured me they would dispute the charges if the company refused to refund the money, and stop all future charges. Lesson learned.
My wife wanted to try this product out so I ordered it a week or two before Christmas. Needless to say, my wife received an email last night for a new charge for $92.93. I called the company today [protected]) and requested that they cancel any future orders. The operator (Cindy with an accent) gave me the run around and tried to blame me for not reading the small print when I ordered it. She also tried to re-direct me by asking several questions each time I told her to just cancel the order. I advised her in a strong manner to just cancel the order and not try to give me the run around after 3 of her continued attempts to do so. She abruptly gave me a cancel code which consisted of the letter "C" plus my order number.
My question is this...has anyone else received a cancellation code and DO THEY STOP ADDING NEW CHARGES TO YOUR CARD after doing so? Or should I just cancel the card I used to make the purchase? Thank you.
This company promises a free sample for $4.95. They ship you a small sample. Charge you $4.95 and then two weeks later they charge you $92.93. Please do not buy into this scam. They will repeat the same script on the phone over and over even if you ask them to stop when you call to cancel and they will not refund your money.
i also fell for this scam, still trying to contact the Company to at least prevent them from sending me more. I though I had been careful when I submitted my order for "Free Samples" especially when I saw that there was apparently no further commitment. This Company are totally Dishonest in their Business practises, don't know how they are able to get away with this. jaygilbert@shaw.ca
I think this company re-invents itxelf on a regular basis. I was scammed by a company called juvenue, same scam different name. Exactly the same deal as this complaint. Lost $105, The health and beauty ads are for the same scam. PLEASE don't fall for this.
