thermo plus acai False advertisement & overpriced products

On Sept. 28, I ordered a bottle of Thermo Plus Acai, a lost weight program. The come on strategy, a promotional campaign. For the cost of $4.95 Only (shipping) I was to receive their product. First of all it took 2 weeks to receive the product. After getting on the product, I was to probably lose perhaps 10 pounds. Not only did I not lose even one pound, but I was charged on Oct. 27 the amount of $59.95 USD. on my credit card.

Here is my point, I was to read their Terms and conditions. If they send products internationally, don't you think I would make sense to give the customer at least 60 days NOT ONLY 30 DAYS. I call this a scam, nobody is given the benefit of the distance and how long it takes to get the products. Therefore, I will put this product on the scam website. Just incredible. That is probably why I sooooo seldom buy any of these advertisements, because they always seem to get around the B.S. and screw the new customer around. I called the company immediately and cancelled. The cancellation # is 77098 and I talked to Heidi Meyer. Their phone is is: [protected]

I would also truly appreciate a full refund. They don't seem to co-operate very well when it comes to get your money back. My e-mail address is: [protected]@yahoo.com

By the way, I would like to add this appears to be a deliberately misleading advertisement where the sucker! is advised that he only has to pay $4.95 "for shipping", and the "sucker/customer" quite often does not read the fine print, or follow up statement in the presentation. Hidden within that marvelleous presentation is a cute little "rider" that says if you don't response negatively within 30 days you will be charged the full ridiculous price of $59.95 for the product directly against your credit card which the "sucker/customer" has been foolish enough to provide.

I just responbded to their ads of free trial, next thing I know i'm charge with lots of money .call them but only answering machine answers.I'm mad because they rob me in one way or another.how can you help me?

my mum applyed for the thormothin plus, she recieved the product after 2 weeks or more.
she was not happy with the product cuz she didnt loss any weight with it
so she phoned them the machine answered but didnt speak to the customer services cuz they were unavalable.
then we tryed to email them the answered but the said they cant do anything.
so realy we ahve to return the product bk and if u have used the product then we ahve to pay the full diet price with is MAD.
i sure they say in there turms and conditions tht "If you should decide ThermothinPlus™ is not for you, simply cancel your order by..."
so if any one know tht they can help us so please do.

thermo plus acai product scam

i am Andrew Redman. 45 Linden Street, St Catharines, Ontario, Canada L2R 1H7. Tel:[protected].

This past spring, I ordered and received a free sample of Acai, a product touted to improve metabolism. Mid June 2009 I received a package by US mail giving only a senders address. Mid August 2009 I received a similar package with the same senders address plus the senders name: EFS-GFS Health Store. I did NOT open either package. Due to a family illness, now a death, I did NOT return the packages or contact this firm. On September 23, 2009, my Visa credit card showed an amount of $113.87 US ($125.29Cdn) paid to EFS-GFS Health Store.

I did NOT order or otherwise authorise DFS-GFS Health Store to send me product beyond the trial offer or to debit my Visa with any charges... in fact, I don't know where they obtained my Visa information.

I have today written to EFS-GFS Health Store by registered mail directing them to repay my money. I have also contacted my bank to make them aware of this scam so as to avoid further charges.

If you can facilitate repayment of my money plus stop this scam I will be grateful. Thank you

My experience was very similar but with a different company. The so called "free sample is anything but free. You get a free trial period of maybe 14 days from the day you place the order and if you don't cancel within the trial period you are charged an outrageous amount of money each month until you cancel. Some of these companies do not refund under any condition. These "free trial" weight loss/metabolism boost drugs are a scam that should be avoided. I didn't do any research before I signed up and it cost me over $300 US before I got out of it. Beware the small print and terms and conditions that can cost you huge.
