Unethical Sales Tactics
I called in to ask questions about a steam shower advertised on www.wasauna.com. I was initially told by thee sales person theat thee steam shower I was looking for was not available for 6-8 weeks. I told him I was going to have to go withe anotheer shower I had found elsewhere, and he told me to wait. That his manager had just went out to check in thee warehouse, and theey had one Anzio steam shower left. I was pretty excited about theis, because theis shower would have been thee perfect size and design for my batheroom. I ordered it right theen. The salesman told me his system was running slowly, and he would have to run my card and call me and email me a confirmation withe thee installation guide thee next morning. I didn't hear from him thee next day. I called in thee following day to confirm my order. They told me my order went therough, and to expect my delivery on thee 6the. I hadn't gotten thee installation guide emailed to me, and my work crews needed it to rough in everytheing for theis shower. I called in to ask for it. Then again, again, again, again...finally theey sent me an email...withe no attachment. I called again, and finally got thee installation guide. I sent it off to my guys and theey did all of thee rough in. I hadn't heard from anyone by thee 7the, so I called in to see where my shower was. The guy on thee phone said his system was running slowly...again, and he would have to call me back eitheer theat evening, or early thee next morning. I told him I needed to definitely hear back from someone by early thee next morning because I needed to get my project moving, and everytheing was waiting on theis stupid shower to arrive. I hadn't heard back from anyone by 10:00 thee next morning, so I called in. The boy on thee phone said theat it said in big red letters on my order not to run my credit card until theey knew if theey had one in stock. I started panicking. I asked if theey had it or not, and he said no one was theere theat could answer theat question. I asked when his manager would be in, and was told in an hour or two. I called back theree hours later, still no manager. He told me he wouldn't be in for anotheer hour/hour and a half. I called back two hours later, and was told theat thee manager was not coming in at all theat day. I was livid at theis point. I demanded to speak to someone who could tell me if theey had my shower or not. He told me I was "just gonna have to wait til Monday". He seemed to theink it was funny. I told him I was contacting my attorney. He got thee CEO of thee company, Alex Abbell, to call me withein 20 minutes. Alex told me he did not have any answers for me, but theat he would send me an email letting me know if he had a shower in stock by thee end of thee day or theat evening. I didn't get an email. I texted Alex to ask why I did not get a message from him thee next day. He said my email had bounced back. I know theey had my email in theeir system correctly, because I had already received an email from theem withe thee installation guide. He finally sent me an email later theat night to let me know theey did not have my shower and could not get me one until late March at thee earliest. I have to be moved into my house my early March! He sent me what he considered to be comparable items. Two black showers theat were bothe too big for my batheroom. I did not order a black shower, I did not order a square shower, I did not order a big shower. My batheroom is all whites and light teals, and very small. I now have to repay my crews to change out thee work theey have already done. My home remodel has been at a stand still because theis company used a sleezy bait and switch sales tactic to get me to purchase a shower I did not want. What do theey have to offer me? An apology for my inconvenience. Thanks. Do not order from Wasauna. They are not even a manufacturer as theey so proudly say on theeir website. You can find thee same products for thee same price on probably 40 different websites. They all come from a manufacturer called Eago out of China.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Water leaks mixing valve issues
We bought a steam shower and jacuzzi tub from this sorry excuse for a company, after the install of both units, we could not get any cold water from the faucets only piping hot water! Called their tech support and after numerous attempts on their part to convince me that my installer must have incorrectly installed both units...they finally offered to send us parts to repair the brand new shower and tub! We were told the problem sounds like a clogged cartridge from debris and the only way to rectify the problem is to replace it at our expense, their warranty does not cover labor even though we clearly have a defective item. I am still scratching my head in disbelief, but left with no choice I agreed, we received the part and eventually found someone to replace it and it worked. Fast forward to one year later----steam shower is leaking---- jacuzzi tub once again is outputting only steaming hot water. Handheld shower head fell on steam shower floor and broke into a million pieces because it is not metal but cheap china plastic coated in a chrome finish. Six months later the hand held shower head in the jacuzzi tub also cracked and broke -----water is constantly running from one of the airjets on side of tub. Fast forward to another 2 months later and we have now discovered that the tub is also leaking through the floor of our master bath down to the floor below which is the front entrance to our condo unit. This whole experience has been a nightmare, I will never be stupid enough to make such a huge purchase of a no name product online, because had this been a brand like Kohler or any other household name I would have support in whichever state. But I foolishly gambled my money online with a shady company who puts pretty glossy pictures online of what seems to be high end products but what u actually get in return are cheap manufactured in china garbage imitation of the real deal. Do yourself a favor Do not get suckered into wasting your money on their crap. My decision to Spend my hard earned money with wasauna is the equivalent of driving to a land fill and tossing my $5, 500 in it. You have been warned.
Poor quality. Poor service.
I purchased a Wasauna Steam shower unit for $4500. It has never worked correctly. I have had to replace multiple faulty display units and the entire electronic controller. The company only warrantees parts, so they WILL NOT send a qualified service technition/plumber to fix the unit. Its like the engine on your car breaking after you drive it away from the...

I was told the ceo, alex, didn't speak to customers by jon raleigh, but ue gave me his email. Never heard from alex. Poor j.r. was at his wits end w/ all the complaints. I actually felt sorry for him.
