They are a total scam and I hope karma bites them back
I sent in lots of gold to them and they sent me a $12 cheque which I know my gold was worth much so I sent them back the riduculous cheq back and wanted them to return my gold.
Not once have I heard back from them or a response, but Andrew kept hounding me prior for me to send them in and of course he is such a liar because they said if I was not satified I would receive my gold back.
One day karma will get them back because I'm sure I'm not the only person they scammed and at least the BBB is aware of the scam company. From now on I will do this in person since garbage people like him ruin's it for legit companies.
Andrew you should not sleep at night.
scammed for my old jewellery
I sent in my old jewellery to 'WE BUY DIAMONDS AND GOLD".
I felt comfortable due to their length of time in the business and apparently trusted site. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I have not seen one penny from them. They don't answer their phone or e-mails. I did sent my package through Canada Post and it was scanned. They have advertised that they insure your package for $500.00, so I guess its time to get a lawyer and find these jerks and make them pay. Next step the BBB! With all these complaints, why haven't they shut them down. I'm really annoyed that this is allowed to carry on.

I sent in over $3500 in jewelry and diamonds and received a cheque for $9, after 4 weeks wait. I did not cash it, they said I did. I demanded either much more money or my jewelry back, both of which were refused. They said to bad, have a nice day. I have been ripped off, and will pursue this matter legally. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY- THIS IS A SCAM
Not a legitimate business even though they have a valid website etc. Andrew Macdonald from WBDG contacted me several times via email wanting to know when I would be sending in my items as I had requested a Gold Pack. When I finally did send in several gem stones, never heard back from them again nor did I get any payment. Called and left nummerous messages as you always get an answering machine. NOTHING! Will be contacting the RCMP today. DO not send anything to We Buy Diamonds and Gold!
This company needs to be shut-down and the owner(s) should be charged with theft! I have photos (on a digital scale) of the 70 grams of gold and diamond jewellery I sent to them. According to the rates on their website I should've received a cheque for anywhere between $1000 - $1200. However they sent me a cheque for $42.36. I immediately returned it via Canada Post Express Post and asked that my jewellery be returned as per their 100% satisfaction guarantee. I never heard from them again, nor have I received my stuff back! I've reported them to the BBB and the JVC both in Canada and the US - however apparently so have many other people but yet they are still in business and still scamming people out of their gold!

Sent in gold braclet and pendent. Received cheque for 36 cents. As they claim 100% satisfaction, I phoned and e-mailed (repeatedly) to get jewelry back. Did not cash "cheque".
They never returned calls or e-mails. DUHHH. Big surprise.
Sent over $10, 000.00 worth of jewellery and took almost a month to get a cheque value of $26.31 can. Never return messages, mailbox full and emails unanswered! Time to call a lawyer.

I send a diamond / gold ring back in Feb and still no money, and no responses. Ripped off and not liking it...will be speaking to lawyers.
Totally Frustrated,
Sent over $5, 000 in gold and diamond rings with oridional appraisal. Received a cheque for $26.36. This is theft and we will proceed with legal action.
what can we do, I have copies of items sent to them, they said that they sent everything to the refinery.
I totally agree. I sent them a pair of diamond earrings and received a check for 12.36. I have sent them an email requesting my earrings back. Not a word back from them as yet.
