hsn mastercard
wonder if HSN knows how wfcb is lying to their customers. I have become disabled and wanted a payoff amount to clear this account and find what wfcb would accept and they have given me an amount. I sent cashier's check with a letter stating that wfcb is willing to clear account for x amount and was given an address for hsn mastercard and have still to hear from them weeks later. World Financial Capital Bank people beware deals with Blair and a lot of other companies. They are thru Allied which is an office supply company in Kansas. If I had already knwon the trouble others have had with them I would never have dealt with them. The payoff is $2600 approx and since August 2010 they had it up to $4800 with late fees etc. Beware of dealing with this bank and company.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Have Not Received a bill in 6 months
I have held a HSN credit card for over 6 years and beginning last year (6 months ago), my statements stopped. I contacted HSN several times. The first time my late fee was rescinded and subsequently paid my bill. After that, all bets were off. After I had called so many times I quit counting, HSN began lowering my credit limit because I was late paying my bill. I keep up with my bills and when to pay them by the statements I received and because I have not received a bill in months, I have been late a couple of times. I'm not sure how many times I have to ask World Financial to send me a bill. Shouldn't be a difficult task, right?
Not longer accepting next day payments online.
Went to make my last Venue card payment which is to World Financial Capital Bank. The payment is due on the 16th so I went online to set up my payment on the 15th. I could not set up a payment for the 16th. They recently changed there website so they no longer accept next day payments, but for $10.00 you can chat with a specialist who you tell the payment amount to and the make the payment for you. This gets around the new laws stopping them from charging rush payment fees for online payments made before 5:00 pm on the payment date. They are still allowed to charge a processing fee if you talk to someone to make the payment rather than through the automated online system. When you select say day payment it brings up a chat window and an agent asks "How Much". You type in the amount and the payment is made and your charged $10.00 to make what should have been a normal payment.
I know exactly what you mean! I have an account with them too, thru Venue and for months I tried to contact them to make a payment on my account but was not allowed to do so. I didn't hear from them for almost a year then suddenly they sent me a bill and added over $300 worth of late charges to my bill of at that time around $150. Now they call me ALL the time trying to collect their money..
