I was contacted by Steve Barnes who said he worked for Worldwide Timeahare Solutions and was told he had a buyer for my timeshare in Myrtle Beach, SC if I was interested in selling. After a few weeks of his calls he talked me into selling my timeshare to a buyer he had already approved for the sale. All I needed to do to start the paperwork was let him have...

WorldWide Marketing Solutions, Inc. scam!!! beware!!!

About 2 months ago I was contacted by a sales person named maggie. She told me she had a buyer willing to buy my timeshare and all they need was $1, 298.00 to get the process going and would close in 60 days or less. Well to make a long story short there was no buyer at the end of 60 days maggie number was disconnected... B*ch and when I called the main number robert (the so called executive) made it seem like she was in another area and I didn't need to talk to her. I called and called about this and all he kept telling me nothing came back from the buyer yet. As soon as I mentioned getting my money back robert got very defensive saying we have a contract and I should have canceled within 30 days... The contract is bulls* please hang up on these people if they call you. There is no buyer at all! These people get your money and you don't hear from them again. I have learned my lesson! I don't see how these people can sleep at night. This is not a licensed business! Beware!

I also got riped off by Worldwide Marketing Solutions. I was asked to cough up $999 and they would have me sold in 90 days or my money back. Well it didn't sell and I got the run around. Then another company named Worldwide something or other (not affiliated with Worldwide Marketing Solutions) called and said that they saw my timeshare listed and wanted a mear $2900 to close the sale. I told them to pound salt!

Today I got a phone call from Design Vacations Incorporated saying that Worldwide Marketing Solutions has been indicted on credit card fraud! Now who to believe? They have a low offer and don't want any $$$ to close a sale.

When does it stop?

I have also been duped by this company. however, this time, they used a new angle. they called on behalf of a company that I currently have a contract with. they too had a $4000 deposit on my timeshare and needed to conduct a title search and appraisal for the lender. that fee, yep, $1997. after the fee was charged to my credit card, I saw worldwide marketing solutions on the statement. I immediately called my contracted company. I asked them to look my account up to see where the $1997 was and the status. the reply was, "sir, we did not charge you an appraisal and title fee, that is part of your contract."
I feel these marketing reps are all in collusion with each other. how would the worldwide rep know my contract # to reference to when asking for my money. I agree the florida state attorney general's office should launch an investigation into worldwide to investigate the money they have kited away from all of us!

Unfortunately I have fallen into the same trap with worldwide marketing solutions. I was contacted back in june 09 by tyrone johnson and was promised they had a buyer. all I had to do was pay for the upfront "title search fee" of $1997 and I was assured I would have this back at the time of the sale in 90 days. I never heard from tyrone again and when I tried to call this past week his # was disconnected. I too have had the unfortunate experience of dealing with robert, who's last name is lynn, if this is his real name at all. I spoke to him back in aug 09 and he was very rude, saying the buyers were looking over the paperwork and I should have something 2 weeks later. I never got a call. after 2 months of trying to reach someone, on 10/1/09, I reach robert again... I like to know where everyone else is who apparently works there!. I was told the buyers "backed out".. hoe convenient! I demanded my money back because I paid for them to sell and not market, he very rudely told me to read my contract. when I said I would be taking mt complaint to he bbb, attny general, and fcc... he laughed. these people need to be stopped! I have learned a hard lesson and will now listen a little more carefully to that little voice inside when something doesn't feel right.

All these resale companies are #... no matter what their name is... creative, executive, worldwide, timeshares by owner, buyatimeshare.com, etc, etc... I am bewildered how the state of florida allowes these shysters to operate

I was contacted by this company also on two seperate occasions. the first time I called the att. generals office and west palm beach county com. office to report them. I knew they were a scam because we had already been scamed before by someone else. its sad that they get away with this! robert was rude to me and accused me of being drunk; also he stated he was going to call me at 3:oo in the morning. I think what they are doing is no different than breaking into your home. the government needs to find a way to put a stop to this and fast! this company has ripped so many people off. if you ask me the whole timeshare thing is a scam can't get rid of it and u are hunted by predators like this! shame on them!
