I went into the the emergency room on Tuesday because I have been bleeding abnormal, cramping and back pain. While in the emergency room I let my nurse practitioner and nurse know that I take Motrin and Tylenol daily already but it hasn't been working. They ran test and all came back that everything was good. So she said for me to follow up with my obgyn soon. I asked could she send me home with the meds she gave me in the emergency room which is a stronger ibuprofen then I have been taking. She said yes she could send me home with something. I leave and wait for my pharmacy to call and they never did so I contacted them and they notified me that the medicine that was sent wasn't covered by my insurance and that they are waiting for thr doctor to contact them back. That was on Tuesday. Today I called and asked could the nurses practitioner send something different that my insurance would cover she told me to take ibuprofen even though I told her that it doesn't work. I'm in so much pain and I feel horrible. I didn't expect to be treated in this way when all I wanted was help to get through the pain until see my doctor on Monday.

Desired outcome: I just want help with getting the medicine I need to get me through until I see my doctor
