I ordered this robe after I saw it on several shows - King of Queens, Everybody Loves Raymond, etc. It looked like a thick, luxurious, comfortable and cute robe.

I have since received this robe and I will note the following for anyone thinking about buying it since there were few (if any) real reviews online:

This robe is not thick at all -
This robe is very thin, so thin that if you hold it up to a window you can clearly see the light through it. I am going to attach some photos so that you can see what I mean.

I definitely would not categorize this robe as luxurious either -
Unless you consider the fact that you're spending almost $200 on a robe I would not say that this robe screams luxury in any way.

The claim that your lint filter will not be filled after a dry - Not true -
The lint filter was hearty. Be aware that even on arrival, loose threads and such were falling off of it right out of the box. After I shook it out several times and lint rolled it, there was less and less until it stopped.

This robe is cute but it's the type of robe that you would see in Walmart for about $30. Just be advised that this was a disappointment for this buyer and since it was a gift, I will not be returning it. Even so, if I had to lose postage and $10 to return it I wouldn't be happy either.

I also purchased a robe from Rose Garden Boutique and when I tried to resolve the issue I had, I was completely shocked by the treatment I received from the owner of the company. It was by far the worst shopping experience I've ever encountered and I would urge anyone who is considering buying one of these robes to do themselves a favor and pick another style of robe from ANY other company. In fact, the Rose Garden Boutique "company" is just some nasty, miserable person selling Canyon Group's product out of their garage in Indiana. They have NO concept of customer service and in fact don't stand behind what they sell AT ALL! Check out the complaints against them on the Better Business Bureau website -- I found three other dissatisfied customers with various complaints regarding this "company." I also contacted the manufacturer, Canyon Group, and they were equally as unhelpful and disinterested in customer satisfaction as the people at Rose Garden Boutique. I finally sent the sub-par robe I purchased back to Canyon Group in disgust and only got satisfaction when my credit card company agreed to refund me the cost, which they shouldn't have had to do had either of these two companies acted honorably. Again, buy a robe from ANY other company!

Totally agree! I’ll never purchase from these people AGAIN. I wish I could find a decent place that sells canyon group robes. It’s costing me a fortune to return this robe that looks NOTHING like the photo. Never again will I shop here. Lesson learned.

Not going lie I did debate a return. First of all I live in Canada so the price after shipping and taxes jumped from $210 after shipping to $250.00. I bought this robe pre 2006 when they cut their line from the super plush line so I didn't know what to expect after seeing reviews knowing it is plush only. Decided to suck it up after I heard the customer experience. When I got it... Omg. Yes you can see the light through it. Quality is in deed a step down from what I had. Ok... It's here... I followed the care. Wash in cold dry on cool. Omg the fluff. Check your lint trap! Ok relax... I decided to shake the daylights out of it and avoid the bush as they recommended. It it beautiful! Not the same quality but sooooo much farther than Walmart as the other guy said in an earlier review. Just follow the care instructions and you will be happy even if this is a downgrade for me I'm happy... Price for Canada is not good as they charge you duty including the shipping. I had an additional $40 charge after it landed but still very happy with quality as they claim right on website! If this one lasts as long as the last... 27 years... I think... I will be gone off this planet... Lol

Bought a robe as well, the construction is thin and did not make it through a single wash, the fabric unraveled. They would not take it back, after sending pictures they said I was too fat for the Large ( I am a massive 135 lbs) I find it notable that you can not review them on their FB page or their site. Worst purchase I have ever made,

I Just got off a phone call trying to make a return to this company. The woman I spoke with who identified herself as the owner, was not only rude ut corrected me and said I was mistaken about their fee, "Our restocking fee is only 10%." Clearly this was a lie to try and appease me and get me off the call because in the follow up e-mail she sent with my RMA number to return the item, she is now saying the restocking fee is 20%.
I have worked in the customer service industry by entire life and have never received or heard of such terrible and inexcusable treatment of customers. I am appalled by this behavior on the part of this company, specifically the owner herself. She should be ashamed of the way she treats her customers, but if she had any sense at all about her behavior this would not be an issue in the first place. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS RETAILER.

Same disappointment here! I've owned 2 Canyon Group robes, however both were purchased in the 90's from retail stores. Both beautiful, superior, plush robes in vibrant clean colors. My mother purchased a new one for me from Rose Garden Boutique this past Christmas 2017. The fabric of this new robe was extremely THIN and the pink color of the robe was very dingy and dirty looking. (Like a used floor mop that you can never really get clean again.) There was no way I could justify the amount of money that was spent on this product. They accepted the return, without question. But if you need to make a return expect to read a 700 word return policy essay and follow it to the letter or forfeit a 20% restocking fee. As it is, you will be charged a !0% restocking fee no mater what. Who does that these days? Two thumbs down! One for the quality of the product and one for the low level of customer service. I DO NOT recommend purchasing from this retailer.

Robe is cheap you can see through it and it sheds badly. They changed to a cheaper material in 2006 contacted the store several times but they just don't care.

Very poor customer experience.
Item purchased for me as a gift and unfortunately was the wrong size. I requested an exchange of size (not refund) immediately upon delivery and discovery that the size was incorrect. The item was in unworn condition and I even offered to pay shipping both ways for an exchange. Rose Garden Boutique flatly refused to assist. Instead, they suggested that I take it to a tailor and have it altered. Seriously.
Read the fine print people. Their returns policy reads like the fifth amendment. Appealing to the manufacturer (Canyon Group) fell on deaf ears too.
Would not recommend purchasing through this company. Buyer beware

They charged online sales tax to a Minnesota resident and they wouldn’t respond to me asking why when I never pay sales tax on clothing items online since I live in Minnesota. Bought a robe anyways but would love for them to fix this for future purchases. It is the only perk I have living in this state that I don’t pay sales on tax on clothing or shoes.

I just received my pink, Falling Daisies robe and I love it. It is exactly as described. Yes, it is expensive, but if you don't want to spend $180 on a bathrobe, then simply don't order it! To order it and then complain about it is ridiculous. I ordered the robe because I saw it worn on Everybody Loves Raymond, and I wanted it. It is EXACTLY as pictured. In addition, the Rose Garden Boutique website is has extremely detailed descriptions of the robe and how it is made. My email correspondence with customer service reps. was excellent. They returned my phone calls regarding the shipping status, and I received the robe one day after it was shipped. To reiterate: If you don't want to spend $180 on a robe, then go to WalMart, but don't buy it and then whine about it afterward.

I got a robe from these guys. The smell of chemicals from the robe makes me dizzy. I cant wear it. Nobody could. Soo strong I dont think it will ever go away. Worse than my new carpet by far! I would definitely not recommend.
