I had purchased the greyston 7 piece diningroom set in September 2019 from Russells in Amanzimtoti.
3 Months after purchasing, whilst we having dinner in December 2019 on Christmas day one of the legs on the chairs had broken whilst the child was sitting on it. I had called the store and spoke to the manageress who said that she would lodge a complaint. I then received a call from the salesperson Marcus who said he would lodge the complaint and have the chair picked up. On the 25 January 2020, the chair was collected and to date I have not received a new chair. It is always I that has to call the store and follow up on this complaint. I was then told by the saleperson that the manufacturer does not have stock of the chair, the manufacturer is not making this product and they dont have stock in their warehouse. I found that very strange as this product was still being advertised. The customer service is very poor as it seems as is once you have paid in full for your goods, should there be any complaints afterwards its like they dont care.
I would like this matter to be resolved as soon as possible as I cant have a diningroom set with only 5 chairs. 5 months have gone by and no diningroom chair. Very angry and disappointed with Russells customer care service.
