I absolutely love these candies! I look forward to having a nest or wreath when they come out every year. They are so delicious, but I was looking at the ingredients I saw that they contain sodium metabisulfite. This additive is carcinogenic and has been studied for links to decreased reproductive success. This is very concerning to me, and I hope that I can enjoy this candy again soon without the risk to my health.
I understand that candy isn't every going to be a "health" food, but these additives are unnecessary and should be avoided.
