Sanford Brown Institute review: Student loan/never got certificate

I went to Sanford Brown in 2004 and graduated in Jan 2005. First off when I started they mislead me telling me I could make at very least double what I was making after completing the program. This was UNTRUE. Also, I had applied for Financial aide. I was given a grant for 5, 000 which suddenly they had no record of! Of coarse the original Financial aide person when I signed up.. that was his last week. (no I'm not kidding) I did complete the program in full including my extern at a Dr's office in Jan 05. I was never given my certificate. Then the bills start flowing in. No sign of a grant anywhere. I had gone to the school to complain.
ONE time someone spoke to me but was unable to help me. This has been YEARS now. You call, they put you into voice mail after voice mail. No one EVER calls back.
I spoke to someone at the American Education services where the loan was through. They informed me I'd have to talk to the school. NEVER got to talk to anyone. Everytime I've called it's been the same thing. THIS WAS SINCE Jan 2005 and now it's 2014! Today we were informed they are going after our tax return which was not even my income as I've been a stay at home mom for some time now. I am beyond pissed! They lie, mislead and then dodge any questions or concerns after you complete the program. I know I'm not the only one who's never gotten her certificate and I should have not been charged so much either as I was approved for a grant!
