We had the worst experience with Saudi airlines. On the 9th of December we had our flight home to Egypt at 9 a.m. We arrived in front of the gate at 8:40 or before that, we were trying to give the employee in the gate our boardings to pass but he didn't look at us, totally ignoring our talking, and in the most rude way possible he told us that the gate is closed, we told him that the screen is showing that it's the "last calling" why wouldn't you let us in? He continued ignoring us till it turned to Gate closed. This is totally unacceptable behavior and unjustified. The plane was connected to tube, we were there on time, we would get on the plane in a few seconds, and this person didn't let us in! This plane must have been overbooked, because it arrived at Cairo airport 25 minutes earlier!
When we tried to solve this at the airport, other employees told us the weirdest thing, that the screen is not accurate, the screen which is supposed to be the passengers guide is not accurate? What kind of failure is this? We were not offered another flight, and we had to wait for 13 hours - with a baby- in the airport to be able to get tickets home. We were also given false information about our baggage that we have to raise a request from Cairo, but when we went to Saudia airlines in Jeddah airport they told us that we must make the request through them and not from Cairo, and in Cairo they told us that it's impossible to do this request from Cairo! I request an investigation and a compensation for this terrible experience.
