On April 27, 2022, an Edison employee asked if he could "trim" a small tree between the fire hydrant and telephone pole (recently replaced) on my property at 14931 Anderson Way, Silverado, CA 92676). I gave permission and got an important phone call, minutes later the employee chopped down the entire small tree. I gave permission to trim the tree, not chop it down and remove it. Not only did removing the tree create an unsightly result, but the tree was also stabilizing the steep embankment by the creek. My next door neighbor witnessed the conversation prior to the tree removal and also witnessed the Edison employee taking the chopped tree away. My wife and I had been caring for the tree that was damaged when the new pole was replaced. That damage was completely understandable, this new damage is unjustified.
Desired outcome: I would like the roots removed and a new bush or tree planted in it's place. Three weeks ago I had back surgery and 10 days ago I had a shoulder replacement surgery and therefore I am unable to do the work myself.
