Their product is OK … HOWEVER the Warrantees and Customer Service leaves a lot to be desired!
We purchased two sets of Faux wood blinds we mistakenly ordered the cordless version (cordless pops up first and you have to search for Corded)! We received them in good order and installed them per the instructions. BUT to our displeasure they are IMPOSSIBLE TO USE! They are supposed to tilt by twisting the bottom, but they do not when on the window. You have to stretch them out to make them open then when you shorten them to fit back in the window they close and will not tilt open again. You have to individually twist each slat to open and let light in.
I spent over a week trying to get them to work including watching several You Tube videos including the ones sent by Select blinds. I spent the last TWO DAYS and over 3 hours each day trying to get replacements (with old style Wand and cord) or a refund! One agent said they would replace…then the next agent says not without seeing a video and have it reviewed by their Quality team! Another said they would replace with a different product with a 10% discount.
Sorry my time is worth more than that! I do not think I have been unreasonable and provided adequate information to the situation and my request for replacement or refund is consistent with information on their web site!
Bottom line … There are other venders that are more competent and provide better Customer Service. I know because I have used them before!

This company is a scam and intentionally alters their photos to appear different from the product that is received. Their blatant refusal to take any responsibility and only gaslight the customer tells me that this is intentional and shady business practices made to mislead the customer. I specifically bought these blinds from them because they were completely black, unlike the same exact blinds you can get half price from Amazon which have the white top, base and cord.

They have since reposted the product under a different name from "Essential Light Filtering Dual Shade" to "Traditional Light Filtering Dual Shade" intentionally to remove the negative reviews due to the false advertisement on this product.
Please note in the email that they didn't even link to the product, they just wrote a random bullet point claiming it was the product description in the email. If you look up the product on their website there is nothing in the description claiming that there are parts of this product that do not match the color ordered. Underneath the picture they have written "Image may include upgraded options". Their customer service team and managers have used this as a copout to claim that the product received may not be what is shown in the picture due to that piece of text. However, if you click through the upgraded options it tells you nowhere how it affects the color of what you have purchased. This is extremely deceptive.
Their customer service only exists as a barrier to protect them as they continue to take advantage of consumers. FTC, BBB, and Consumer Affairs reports have been submitted since this business practice of false advertisement is illegal.
For the pictures below, you can see on the receipt of my purchase as well as a close up of their picture that was intentionally photoshopped and pictures of the product I received in which they absolutely refuse to take responsibility for.
Their manager called me only to offer me a discount on reordering more blinds, as if I would want to spend more money being scammed. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had.

I wish I'd read these reviews. I stupidly believed the company's "100% satisfaction" guarantee. No way. These were VERY poorly made, cheap and pinched at the top, terribly wrinkled (steamed until the fabric lost all substance without improvement) and black shading on the white material. I order two roman blinds for my kitchen. I told the sales rep I only had ¾" depth for mounting and she recommended the designer series, so place my order. When I received my blinds the mounting bracket was 3" depth and don't mount to my windows. I'm trying to resolve this issue with Select Blinds. Also the material and the craftsmanship were very poor. I'll never buy there again.

If you choose to have a call back they never call back. When you email them it takes them over 24 hours to return an email. The more info you provide them the more hoops you have to jump through until you give up. Save yourself the hassle and buy your blinds locally. I sent pictures then they wanted a video. A video of the blinds not working. It is no different than the picture. I told them they could pick up the blind and replace it. No they want me take get a video recorder and record myself trying to pull on the blind and mail it to them. That is crazy. They now offer the same blinds today with 40% off plus an additional 20% off. I just wanted a problem fixed but it goes on day after day because you can not talk to them on the phone even though they provide a phone number and it literally takes 24 hours per response. Please send call tags to pick up all the blinds and issue me a full refund. I should have just bought locally..
lack of customer service
What a baggy website! I would recommend you to stay away. I myself can't wait when I will finally be free from dealing with them.
I made an order and paid for it. During the payment process, the website froze and transferred me to the previous page saying that an unknown error occurred and I had to order the same again. I did. And after this, I got orders confirmation. I paid twice for two same orders. Thought there will be no problem with the second order cancelation. But I was wrong like never before. I couldn't reach them. They didn't pick up the phone and don't answer my emails. Still trying to contact them.
Please, be careful and make sure that after an error you weren't charged.
very stressful experience
I have ordered an item from www.selectblinds.com and later was contacted by the representative of this company and told that my order was cancelled since my item was no longer in stock. I asked if it was possible to pick something else and they said yes. So I placed another order and thought that everything was fine, but it never arrived!
When I contacted them in order to get some information they said that they have no idea was my order shipped or not! What kind of customer service is that if these people can't even provide customer with the information about his order!?
I still received nothing and SelectBlinds customer service is absolutely useless and unhelpful!

My problems:
1. My original item was back-ordered
2. When I tried to get this item changed to an available item the staff was very nice and when I explained that I needed the item soon offered to rush my order. Supposedly it was changed and would be delivered that Friday. It never came.
3. The following Monday I contacted them again, they were apologetic and said the blinds would be here by yesterday, assuring me that this would be the case. My blinds did not come.
4. I contacted them yesterday and today and they do not know the status of the blinds being shipped, are unsure if the blinds have been produced. They promised to call me yesterday, they did not. They have stated they will call me today, I am still waiting.
5. Select blinds is not the manufacturer, they are some company who works loosely with a manufacturer and it takes 8 hours for them to get a response back and then they may or may not be able to help you.
6. GET BLINDS FROM A DIFFERENT COMPANY IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER OPTION!
2" express faux wood blinds
Do not buy from this company. This company Select Blinds has horrible customer service. I ordered a specific size, the blinds arrived with the correct size I ordered on the shipping label on the outside label but the blinds themselves are 1/2 to short. When I called customer service they indicated that they choose to cut the blinds 1/2 short. They asked me to return the blinds which I paid one hundred dollars for and pay another one hundred dollars for a correct size. Therefore asking me to pay double ($200) for blinds.

Product Representation, Guarantee and Customer Service
Order # 5604779 We ordered five top-down, bottom-up cordless honeycomb shades and spent more than $630 on them. We provided exact measurements because Select Blinds assured us that they make the correct deductions to make the product fit correctly. When we received the blinds, the first one we opened had damage to the headrail and then we noticed some sort of “tri-fold” shade material that hangs from the top rail and has a shiny silver foil-like stripe along the bottom edge. This feature is not displayed on the product we ordered from the website. It is unattractive, and we wouldn't have ordered if we had seen this. We opened another shade and found that it also has this tri-fold material, but that it is tucked into the top piece of the lower section and cannot be separated without tearing the shade itself. This shade also has a small hole in it. Much to our disappointment, all of the shades have this awful silver foil line along the underside of the top rail. None of the shades had any measurement deductions made, so they scrape the drywall texture on both sides of the windows. The “bounce-back” feature of top-down bottom-up shades also make none of them long enough to reach the window sills (therefore not blackout). We got the real run-around and ended up discussing all of these issues with various customer service people at Select Blinds. We dutifully photographed and documented all of the problems we had with the order several times. They were so uncooperative and we were not able to get them to honor their “satisfaction guarantee” and to send exactly what we had ordered and paid for. It has been beyond frustrating to play phone tag and try to communicate with representatives who clearly are not there to make the customer satisfied. Notice that, unlike most other online retailers, Select Blinds does not show any negative reviews on their website. We know, because we submitted one and it does not appear there. If you think about it, no negative feedback should have warned us about their lack of integrity. Plus, the Better Business Bureau also details many unhappy customers who have had very similar experiences to ours. Resolution of this matter would mean that we receive the correct product for all five of our windows and that the shades have no silver foil/trifold feature and no holes, no stuck fabric and no headrail flaws.

I have ordered from them before and was completely satisfied, so I didn't hesitate to order again. I ordered 2 black out cellular shades in Ivory for a bedroom. Ordering was easy and the blinds arrived 10 days later. We installed one, but when we went to install the other we discovered it was white!. I called customer service and that's where the nightmare began. I waited 20 minutes on hold and then was bumped to a voicemail. I went online and found "live chat" and tried that route. I got Amber Hale and she asked for pictures of the blinds. By the time I got the pictures and went to send to her email and return to the live chat screen I was kicked off for taking more than 4 minutes. I returned to live chat and all were off line. I wrote an email to the company. I tried live chat again and was asked for more pictures. I think I can tell the difference between white and ivory but she said they need to send to facility for review! I was insulted by the insinuation that I don't know color difference! She told me she would email me today, as yesterday was a holiday! Really, a private company in Arizona takes MLK day off? Today, you guessed it, no email. I called customer service, again on hold more than 10 minutes. Chatted on live chat with Karlie. She says it will be replaced, but they need to get the go ahead from the 'facility' and then they will email me. So that's where we stand. They have lost a customer.
Poor Quality
I wish I had read these reviews before placing my order. Contrary to what others are saying, in my experience customer service agents are very friendly and try to do their best to please their customers. HOWEVER, I have had issues from the beginning, starting with my order. They added two items in error to my order which I became aware of when I received an email from the production department asking me to confirm the kind of power source I wanted for my motorized blinds (which I had not ordered). It took two calls from me to get things resolved. My order finally came in and I am very disappointed by the overall look and quality of the product. They are very flimsy and in addition they are defective. Where is their quality control? I did call and was told that all they will do is give me a store credit. I explained that I have no confidence in their products and therefore wanted a full refund. I am waiting for a manager to call me back... let's see how long it will take... or if they will even call back... The old saying is worth remembering... you get what you pay for...

I did contact my credit card company and a full credit was placed on my account. Subsequently, Select Blinds agreed to refund my money. Lesson learned: Always pay with a credit card so as to have some recourse if something goes wrong!

False advertising
This company falsely advertises with their 100% satisfation guarantee.
You have to order samples first on everything you buy. Once you order
and something(ANYTHING) is wrong they will not honor the 100%
satification guarantee. The people on the phone are rude, unprofessional
and crappy just like their cheap quality blinds I placed an order with
them a few weeks ago. GO TO WALMART for blinds, even they sell a
better quality blinds than this quack outfit.

they refused to remake too wide blinds
We ordered 4 solar blinds with cassettes which give the product a finished appearance. The cassette makes the total blind wider than just a blind would be, Two of the 4 blinds arrived wider than the measurements we gave them and therefore would not fit the window openings. They agreed to remake one blind if we paid shipping to return the bad one to them. These are heavy so the cost would be considerable. We would have to purchase a new blind to replace their second mistake. We spent hours on the phone with them with no admission that they made the mistake. We will never do business with this company again and recommend that others look for another source of blinds for their home or business.

employment of terminated employees, being dishonest and denying unemployment benefits.
This is not blackmail; we just wanted you to be aware of who you are dealing
with. We know that this is not the first affair that you have learned of.
A keylogger utility was installed months ago on Nate's phone and laptop. A
record of everything he types on these machines is sent to us. He should really
have learned to lock those things down when leaving his office.
It is sickening that females are afraid to report his advances and that Nate
is married and continues to flirt and carry on sexual conversations with female
employees. It's certainly not a secret that some employees have been
terminated without cause while employees like Dana Lemon are allowed to break the rules

Blinds did not fit
So far I have been very unhappy with Select Blinds. First of all when I received my blinds they were already dirty. Not a good sign, but I decided I'd accept it since I it was on the outside and I would never see it. Then when I went to install them, none of them fit. They were all too big. I called customer service. The number on their site for claim, didn't work, but the other number did. I spoke to customer service she explained to take a close up picture, which I did and sent it to them. A week later, I heard nothing, so I called again the one phone number didn't work. Then I spoke to someone else, who told me that the factory hardly ever makes mistakes and I needed to send more pictures. They way they said it, made me feel like they thought I was lying or something. I took 6 photos per blind and resent it to them. Since I spoke to them yesterday, I wanted to call to confirm they received them, but now neither phone number on their site is working. I am very concerned and disappointed by this company. There have been so many good reviews, so I wanted to be sure everyone knew about my bad experience
Rip Off!
I’ve had a really unjust experience with Select Blinds! In short: I ordered blinds from them according to the tab on their webpage entitled “How to Measure” In the end it turns out that their own webpage omitted important information contained on another page that is NOT referenced on the “how to measure” page. The company then blamed me when the blinds did not fit! This company does not do business in good faith! Please beware, this is NOT a company to trust. My order number was: 2117521 so that Select Blinds can not say this was not a real order...why would I go to all this trouble to complain if this didn't happpen?

Roman shades
When trying to order the shades, I emailed the company twice and called twice. They did not answer my emails. After being on hold for twenty minutes with each call, a recording came on offering to have them contact me. They never did.
The four shades arrived, and I was not surprised at the poor quality. The hardware was cheap plastic, the mounting points were unevenly placed, the upgraded chord controls were flimsy.
This is a shoddy company making an inferior product. In my opinion, you would be better off to find a local company and shop there.
They do not honor customer satisfaction guarantee. Stay away from this company. The swatch looked nice but the complete product was cheap. They don't even give you hardware to hang them up. if you complain they offer a 10% discount towards future purchase of substandard products.
Blinds cut wrong and order wrong
I ordered five blinds with cloth tapes. I received four blinds with tapes which were cut wrong, my husband had to fix them, one blind without cloth tapes. They have poor customer service, I had to hold over 30 minutes to be told it was my fault. They ordered me a correct blind, however, I had to pay for it, supposedly gave me 50% off and had to pay for the cloth tape. Their website was down when I ordered originally, so I phoned in the order and specifically told the guy that I wanted all with cloth tapes, obviously he did not do it. Now, one of the tapes came apart at the bottom, some kind of wood plug came out, I would call to have them fix it, but why bother? It won't be their fault as they would say. I will never order from this company again, after their big 30% off and one free blind, my order was still $446! My friend went to Home Depot and paid less and got better quality than I did. Beware of internet, be sure to read all the reviews and take the complaints seriously.

I ordered blinds for the price, and Satisfaction Guarantee! The blinds were not delivered in 5-7 days as they stated. The blinds arrived almost three weeks later, were of very low quality, and not the color we ordered. There were no installation instructions, but I am handy, and was able to install one of the blinds. The pull strings did not function properly and the strings were so thin I knew they would not last long.
The next day I called customer service to return the blinds, naively thinking they would honor the '90 DAY SATISFACTION GUARANTEE'. I was told that because I did not click on the 90 DAY Guarantee, read the 'Conditions', and request a sample before I placed the order, I could not return the blinds and could not get my money back! There is no direction on the Selectblinds website to go to guarantee conditions, and the condition to request a sample or the guarantee is basically voided, is lower on the page, after the proclamation of 100% satisfaction guaranteed.
The customer rep sounded like she could care less that I was not getting my money back, and I should have somehow known to click under the guarantee to read the fine print.
Big time, stay away from this company!
