This happened in

2251 Lawrence Ave E, Scarborough, ON, Canada

To start with, I am a newcomer to Canada who migrated with lots of expectations, hearing the politeness of the people of this country. And the first experience when I got sick was really horrible. I was in pain which I believe is a UTI. As per my friend's suggestion, who actually is a nurse, I booked the consultation with this store at 8.30 pm and before confirming the appointment, I saw all symptoms as mentioned in the website and it was all a match to my condition. And I chose that I do not hold a health card, obviosuly becaude I am a newcomer, and I was ready to pay the fees. This is the reason I booked the appointment. I did not just walkin. And one thing I had to wait for 15 minutes after 8.30pm when there was barely any customers/patients for pharmacy. Now, here comes the story, the pharmacist who came after seeing my husband waiting patiently there, by mocking him, asking why he is waiting here and he blabber something to himself and approached me with a very very rude manner. As a patient, I expected at least the pharmacist would be polite even they could not help. But he was literaly shouting at me saying he cannot prescribe and seeing that when my husband tries to help me by saying (my husband even asked politely if he can speak), the male pharamacist was literally shouting. The reason was the funniest, he is saying that he cannot prescribe the medicine, if I dont hold a health card, even when I am ready to pay. I don't think what he said is true because while booking I saw there is an option to check whether I am okay to pay professional fees, which I was agreeing and thus booked. To be honest, he was literally racist and discriminating. I am not sure if he doesn't like the way I am dressed or tied my hair. All the people around there who came fpr convenience store customers was looking at me and my husband. With lots of embarrassment and pain we had to leave. I am not able to sleep because of this ill treatment. He could have just said, he cannot help us. But why does he had to shout. I hope he doesnt repeat this. Not sure if this forum is going to do any help but still I wanted to inform that this happened. At least, I can have some peace. Only request is, people like us left our family and everything and migrated here for good. Not to get this type of racist treatment.

Thank you.

Desired outcome: I would like an apology or a confirmation from the authority that this guy is not going to treat anybody like this.
