I purchased a 2015 luxury SUV on 12/7/22
I purchased a 2015 luxury SUV on 12/7/22. After 2 days, I noticed the sunroof wouldn't open. The salesperson assured me it would be fixed, with an appointment set for over a month later. Upon arrival, the service department was unaware of my appointment. The assistant service manager promised to waive diagnostic fees due to the confusion. Later, they found my appointment but had no record of the dealership covering charges or my extended warranty. The salesperson wouldn't confirm covering the costs or provide my warranty details to the service center. The extended warranty company also had no record of my warranty, which was added to my loan. I missed work for this, only to be shuffled around. The service manager later indicated the diagnostic might be covered, and the used car department could possibly cover the repair costs. The sales representative had guaranteed no cost to me, and I want all agreements in writing.
