I live in a building, actually there are three buildings here. I don't know about the others but my building has had cockroaches and bedbugs, they think we don't know but we do. It would be nice to tell everyone so we can keep an eye out. The shovelling here has been horrible since they fired our superintendants. The walkway to the parking lot has not been cleared properly, I almost fall every time I walk on it. The building has not been kept clean and it stinks. The building manager doesn't have the time of day for you unless you are white. The last three times I walked out the front door i walked into people smoking drugs. Not a good experience, I'm moving
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

Yes i have heard that the supers in those two buildings are leaving to because not only does it suck living here but apparently it sucks more to work for them! I dunno thats just what i heard from some guy that lives in the middle building...and yeah what is with the turnover here?
This place is horrible ...dont ever put in a work order cause god forbid that the super has to take the time to look at it! 100 Silvercreek gets worse by the day!
As i see it they don't have their priorities straight at all...Miss Smith is too worried about getting Dee and Larry out of here to worry about the things that really matter...like doing her job!

Taking care of your own business and not interfering with your building neighbors or Building Management affairs will.
If you have any concerns, let the Building Management know, by following the proper legal avenues.
Complaints don't have to be solved if they are not documented and signed by the complainants. Signed complaints are taken more seriously than verbal ones and those posted online.
It's ok to ### as long you do something about it. Otherwise you are just being a troublemaker.

Things only get taken care of if you are a friend of management...for example Lorries ex Wade got new carpet...there are people that needed it alot worse!
Lorrie's brother remained in his unit months after being evicted, living free of Rent ...others werent even given a chance to get their furniture when they were suffering from a mental disorder, locked out with the clothes on her back...how is this fair!? and there is so much more...

I agree! I wrote a work order up about the light at the back entrance being out several times, i also told the super at 100 about it, he said that he would get to it!
The light stayed broken for over a MONTH! I put in a call to the fire inspector...it was fixed the next day lol
Work orders and complaints mean nothing here unless there is something in it for miss smith!

On a serious note though this place is going to be under new ownership soon if you read up online you will see another company will be taking over Interrent, the owners of Silvercreek Estates..hopefully they will weed out there staff and get rid of the people like this Lorrie Smith that you talk of so that you people can have some peace!
Truthfully i don't think it will matter as its still the AREA...even if they improve the buildings and get new management you still have to contend with the Silvercreek/Willow area label, that will never change!

The Silvercreek Estates are one of the worst managed properties I have ever seen...I truly cannot believe that serious action has not yet been taken from the owners to get rid of the supers and manager...I mean how ingnorant can you be? How can you simply read all of these comments and not do something to better the living conditions of your tenants.
No wonder more than half of the buildings are empty...I would never ever recommend living here to anyone.

CLV group is the company that has merged with Interrent, they have made the parking now $25.00 a month that is rediculous! Hope that covers security in the parking lot with all the vandalism happening...i doubt it though.

As my family and I returned home from an outing, I noticed that there were two vehicles parked in a "future residents" section. I noticed that the large dodge ram 2500 that was there, had been parked there often for the last month. I thought that maybe they were getting rid of those spots, and opening them up to residents. So I parked there. When we entered the building, we were immediately confronted by a "gentleman" who told me I couldn't park there. (not asking if he could help...he had no clue who we were, and his arrogance was not appreciated) I asked him, "well, that truck has been there for the last month, and..." he wouldn't let me finish, interrupting me with "you can't park there" I then asked him who was parked there. He said it was him, a unit manager. Unit manager? "I thought it was for future tenants?" I asked. In which he said he was...ya, ok bud. Maybe this guy should be concerned about managing units, not being parking enforcement.
It's bad enough our hallways are a mess, our lobbies have drywall missing and insulation hanging out, I really don't think the tenants need an arrogant jerk like that. Ever since Avalon took over, it's been a nightmare trying to get any help around the units. I have mould in my apartment, that has been there for months. I have contained it, but am still waiting for proper people to remove it. Very professional, eh?

This has shaped up to be such a hole since Avalon took over! The construction going on is a pain, and looks no different than before. I like how the offices for the leasing agents are priorities for this company, yet the tenants who have mold or other problems are once again shafted. And yet the memo posted, says 'improvements to YOUR building". My building? Whatever. This place is just awful.

From everyone that i talk to it seems like no one can get anything done here, so many lights are out in the stairwells. I guess they figure passed the 4th floor doesent matter, until there is a fire and someone falls.
The hallways are DISGUSTING! i dont think they have been vaccumed in months ...and that is being nice!

when a fire alarm goes off at 10:00pm, you wake your kids up, and leave the building...
what if the fire alarm is not really for a fire but rather because of work going on in the building, and NO ONE send you a letter or even has the common decency to post a note in the lobby telling us to expect this annoyance...
i even called the fire debt. this morning and asked them if they knew what was up...they knew about it...wow

wow! I FINALLY got the mould removed from my apt. It only took them close to 3 months...not to bad...
but now theres a beautiful piece of green board in my living room replacing the old rotted, mouldy piece of plywood...cant have my mould and eat it too...
(it was foam insulated and caulked to prevent a draft...only its a place to put your air conditioner, so now if I decide to use my a/c, im going to have to rip it out to get my a/c in there?)
I guess I have to take it upon myself to file ANOTHER request, wait a long time, and get hassled to get it painted...
I will say, I think someone in management is looking on this site (I figure they saw my complaints about the mould and figured they should take care of it)
Still no end in sight for the ongoing construction. No letter stating when they will be done, nothing at all...well, I guess we get attitude from the workers in the building...

The building I live in is nothing but an upright trailer park! No matter what renovations they do to the place, it will always be the same. I don't think there is any kind of screening process either, they will just let anyone move in there!
The renovations are taking a lot longer than originally predicted and honestly, they should be concerned with other things like mould, drugs, constantly leaking pipes...rather than putting up those stupid, ugly wooden panels on the main floor.
I love getting notices saying that they are going to enter the apartment, and then no one shows up! They can't seem to get their [censor] together.
No matter what you call the place, Silvercreek Estates or CLV or The Avalon...it will always be a carelessly run dump! I'm moving...literally bolting from the place!

I thought the building was lind of gloomy and not friendly, certainly not what they claim to be online, and the pics of the furnished apartment online didnt really look like what i saw :(
I applied here last week, after reading this all i can say is shred the application...i wont be back!

Fail:
Make unmarked parking spaces (except visitors...) numbered for no good reason. Then, get the painters back to "fix/change" some spots. THEN, a few months later get them back AGAIN, and get them to change the numbers on some spaces. What a waste of time.
Visitors that are staying overnight, are forced to park next door in the parking lot of 102 when parking overnight...while the visitors spots in our own lot remain empty...and good luck grabbing a spot when visiting too. I think the staff use 3 spots.
