I am writing to raise a formal complaint regarding the rescheduling of my flight ticket, which was booked through Skyscanner via one of your partner travel agents.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, I am required to reschedule my flight. However, upon contacting the agent, I was quoted an exorbitant rescheduling fee of over ₹15,000INR, even though the actual cost of a new ticket for the same route and date is less than ₹5,500 as per the airline’s website and other portals.
This charge is completely unreasonable and appears to be a case of overcharging or misrepresentation. Moreover, the agent has been uncooperative and has provided little to no assistance in resolving the matter.
I request the following:
A clear breakdown of the rescheduling charges being applied.
Immediate intervention to help me reschedule my ticket at a reasonable and fair price.
An explanation as to why there is such a discrepancy between the quoted rescheduling fee and the actual cost of a new ticket.
Action against the agent for lack of support and possible unethical practices.
