When the driver finally arrived, we were relieved but we had 4 bags with us. We had told them about our bags when we booked the ride, but the driver's comment was "you should of got a van". We managed to squeeze our bags in the trunk and onto the seats, but the ride was cramped and uncomfortable. We finally made it to our hotel, but we had already pre-paid the fare and tip. However, the driver seemed to be expecting another tip, which we didn't give.
This was not the best introduction to LA and we were disappointed. We thought supporting the locals was a good idea, but we should have read all the reviews before booking. We had to cram ourselves and our bags into the shuttle, which made for an uncomfortable 1.5 hour ride.
I paid $875 per shuttle, which totaled $2,625. When I contacted ShuttleWizard to request a refund for the overpayment, they said they would look into it and get back to me. However, I never heard back from them and they even blocked my follow-up calls.
What's worse is that ShuttleWizard charged the same amount per person for the 30-person shuttle as they did for the 3 10-person shuttles I had originally requested. This doesn't make sense because the fixed costs are the same for each shuttle, regardless of capacity. The fuel amount and cost are essentially the same, and the driver's salary is the same regardless of how many people are in the shuttle.
I was extremely disappointed with ShuttleWizard's service and wish I had read other reviews before booking with them. They claim to be "professional drivers in private cars," but in reality, they charge four times the rate of Uber and provide a subpar service.
When I arrived, the driver yelled at me, insisted that I was someone else, and threw my luggage into the trunk. They couldn't even remember my first or last name, which was incredibly frustrating. To make matters worse, they continued to harass me and call me a racist, which was completely uncalled for. I had to block their number to avoid further harassment.

Additionally, authorized taxis and much cheaper private service professional drivers are readily available outside the baggage pick up area.
To make matters worse, the driver was a half hour late and accused me of not following their instructions. They even went as far as to call me a racist, which was incredibly hurtful. This service is a complete joke and is operated by rude, abusive, unprofessional, non-English speaking people who have never heard of customer satisfaction. They treat their customers as if they exist to serve them and their inflated egos.
In conclusion, I would give ShuttleWizard a negative million stars if I could. I would strongly advise against using this service and instead opt for a more reliable and professional option.
