SLD Solutions SLD provided an opportunity that I was ready for!

SLD provided an opportunity that I was ready for! The interviewer was up front about the opportunity and answered all of my questions openly and honestly. I did my research and knew what to expect. This isn't a job. It's a build your own business opportunity.

Scam! Kit told me she was with the government doing a audit...liar. I told her to stop calling and harassing me, hung up the phone then blocked the number. I wish people would put this much effort into getting a real job instead of scamming people.

getting "recruitment" texts regarding an unknown position, about an alleged resume posted on career builder... this is unprofessional AT BEST but in reality, is an unconscionable scam trying to take advantage of desperate job seekers. shame

Completely not a scam. Do you get a text? Yes. Did they find your resume on Career Builders? Yes (don't activate your resume if you're not looking for work. If you "didn't" put your resume up, you should probably check who did.) Is this a job? No. Is it an opportunity? Yes. Will the company stop contacting if you ask? Yes. I have not read any complaints here that substantiate this company being a "SCAM". This company provides legitimate services to community and does not "serve" other companies, it is partnered with other companies to provide these services. I recommend for anyone being interviewed (for any job/opportunity) in the future, to ask the "right" questions to understand what it is you want and what the company's expectations are.

Opportunity is a pyramid company that reached out to me through information they found on a job listing website, offering me an interview for a job that turned out to be a pitch for their financial institution. This page shows one website as its online presence, but it also created another similar one. This is clearly a sign that enough people are not okay with their marketing tactic and the company set up a different website domain (with the same exact information) to blindside more unknowing victims. The job listing platform states its purpose is to "help employers find, hire and manage great people", but this company is not an employer hiring employees. It is a business that profits off the people it recruits.

I was contacted by phone for an interview with this company. However, the interview was a sales pitch with a group of other people on a video conferencing platform and then a one-on-one breakout room with someone to filter out if I would pay the financial obligation of $133 to get licensed and started with the program.

Morally it is clear why this is wrong, but legally this falls under fraud for the misrepresentation of being a company offering hourly or salary employment to people who put their resumes on a platform for such a type of employer. The experience fuels a psychological imbalance to people searching for income and then being told their desire is "small thinking" and they need to think like an entrepreneur. To target a specific demographic with an "opportunity" that does not provide a stable income and cannot guarantee their income is not what the audience on job listing platforms is looking for. Their recruits join out of hope and desperation for any type of income.

I cannot get the time I spent with them back or the time I spent reporting them and mentally and emotionally getting myself back on track to search for jobs. It isn't fair to be conned into listening to people make you feel terrible for wanting a job (especially a corporate position in upper management).

It's also unfair that companies like this get to use platforms like Indeed and other job search websites to exploit the fears of anxious people looking for employment. Please ban this company and if necessary their parent company Americrop from utilizing this angle to profit.

I received a text from a representative with SLD Financial inquiring if we could talk and discussing my resume on Career Builder. She did not call me, just texted, which I found unprofessional! She did not have permission to text me at all. When I called her after instructing her not to text me again, I was referred to World Financial to see for myself. The representative there informed me he did not want people like me when I requested the removal of my information from their database. Beware, they are not to be trusted!

I recognize the few top-rated reviews and the names associated with them, and indeed they are representatives, part of the upper echelon. My suspicions were first raised when a certain individual contacted me via Career Builders, claiming my resume was an excellent match for their organization. After I had invested $133.00 to obtain my license, I was instructed to invite three individuals to a Zoom conference to witness a special presentation. I was overwhelmed with constant notifications from the group, which I ultimately chose to ignore. During the Zoom meetings, I would observe the other attendees; many appeared to be ordinary folks in casual attire, while those in suits or jackets were typically representatives or part of the upper echelon. Their enthusiasm and loud voices were so intense, it was as if they were under the influence of a stimulant. They made grand promises, yet emphasized that the outcome depended entirely on my efforts, offering bonuses if I managed to enroll seven people. Once they had me on board, they encouraged me to sign up for other financial services and a credit optimization service. Concurrently, I was approached by a different company that was upfront about providing leads, leaving the task of obtaining referrals to me. Their training was more affordable, at only $49.00, with a single weekly meeting and support available upon request. They assured me that their operation was not a get-rich-quick scheme. For those interested in more details, I can be reached at stitches148 at icloud.

After working with this group and finding out what they are really about, take the 5 star reviews with a HUGE grain of salt! All the 5 star reviews are from agents affiliated with this business trying to counter the negative reviews. Please look up wfgscam.net and you will find all the information you need telling you who Diane V and Jennifer L really are. They changed the name they were under from WFG to SLD because Jennifer was terminated and writing policies under her husbands license. If I could give negative stars I would. I'm not trying to bash anyone but it is what it is and the proof is there. wfgscam.net

I encountered the same issue as others reported. I received a text message about a job interview. I googled SLD and found they are listed on DNB too with an income listed. They're using LinkedIn too to entice people. It seems individuals can easily be fooled into thinking this is a legit business. Thank goodness for ComplaintsBoard.com and it's customer reviewing tool.

SLD Solutions Wow! This information combined with what I read on Scam Pulse, definitely exposes a MLM scam

Wow! This information combined with what I read on Scam Pulse, definitely exposes a MLM scam. I can't believe they are preying on people that are looking for income but scam them for $133 that never leads to any compensation unless you get and friends and family to purchase an insurance policy. This is a very sad approach to scam people during a pandemic situation where people are desperately looking for a job. It's important to be cautious and avoid falling for such schemes.

SLD Solutions I have no “real" rating

I have no “real" rating. I read your reviews while in a presentation and interview with this company. I'm glad that I did. I immediately felt like it was pyramid scheme, but the posted reviews helped me follow my gut. During the initial set up, I was told that if I wanted to stay in my current field, then this may not be the right fit. I just thought I'd hear them out; it never hurts to listen especially if you can earn money part time, right? They stated that 4,000-5,000 resumes are received a day; however, they contacted me via text stating they found my LinkedIn profile. I agree with everyone. Too much information is missing. They couldn't answer me as to why they displayed the companies that they “serve" beyond generic responses.

sent me a message just like the other review , thought I would hear what they had to say but as soon as the presentation starts you can tell all images are genetic and everything is not right. the people talking to you say they are well racked and well known but as I am listening I google the company and I cant find it. after everything is done then they tell you to get ready for a one on one. after 3 questions they tell me if I like it then I am in and all I have to do is pay 133 upfront for training so that I can sell and help people with financial issues. before they told us thousands of applicants want in but only a few get in. so I ask if there is any guarantee I will start making money soon. but they can answer. so glad I saw the first review. Don't fall for it, money upfront is never a good deal.

SLD Solutions The interview introduction comes off like a MLM; but they are not a MLM

The interview introduction comes off like a MLM; but they are not a MLM. They are a real licensed financial firm dealing with A+ rated companies. If you stayed you would have had a one on one and your answer to any questions. This is my experience: I thoroughly checked them out after a recommendation from a friend and then seeing the reviews below. SLD is a unique Financial firm; that is, they do not sell you anything you do not need; rather listen to you and find out what is best for you. I was listened to and solutions to my unique issues were provided and they did not even charge for it. The brokerage house I was at before charged me $1,500 for a sit down to do a financial needs analysis, SLD did it for free and it was better and more detailed. Also, they have retirement accounts that do not lose money; really! If I had that in 08, I would not have lost most of my portfolio. I cannot recommend a brokerage house higher than SLD. Caring, knowledgeable, professional, thorough, and they have the products others do not have. They will not overcharge you or lose your money. And save yourself $1,000 and attend their webinars; what the financial gurus change, SLD is free, better, and more updated information.

SLD Solutions I recognize the few 5 star reviews names, and yes they are agents

I recognize the few 5 star reviews names, and yes they are agents. members of the hierarchy. I first became suspicious when [Agent Name] texted me from career builders saying my resume was a great fit for their company. after paying $133.00 to get my license, I was asked to bring into a zoom conference 3 people who can see the "company overview". I am bombarded constantly with band notifications which i eventually turned off. while in the zoom meetings I would scroll and see the other participants. A lot of the people looked like everyday normal people. All dressed casual, and the ones dressed in suits or jackets actually were agents or part of the hierarchy. All with so much excitement and loud voices, one would think they were all hopped up on Cocaine. They promise you the sun moon and stars, but then tell you it is all up to you, offering incentives that if you get 7 people signed up you receive bonuses. And after they have you they get you to sign up for [Product/Service], and Optimal credit service. At the same time with SLD I was approached by another Company and they said right off the bat, they get you the leads, up to you to get referrals. their course was only $49.00. Only one weekly meeting and help when you reach out. They also promised you that this is NOT a get-rich-quick company. If you would like more info you can reach me at stitches148 at icloud.

SLD Solutions Multi-level marketing scheme

Multi-level marketing scheme. No product other than marketing membership into a revenue-sharing scheme based on signing up new members. Profit sharing diagram is pyramid-shaped. Contact with the company resulted from them mining my information from a third-party source, was sent an unsolicited text message asking me to call to schedule an interview. Presentation on the company was conducted via Zoom with roughly 80 participants. No discernible service was described besides "financial education", "saving money", and "revenue maximization". I was eventually invited to a one-on-one interview in which I was told that I would need to pay $133 up-front for certification training (via a specific payment platform) to join their organization as an "Associate", and that I would be considered an independent contractor conducting sales without provision of leads or contacts. Upon asking my interviewer how long he'd been with the company, I was told that he was also an "Associate" who'd been with them for 10 months. Asking about their office setup, I was told that there were no fixed offices "due to the pandemic". Asking for how to move forward, I was directed to sign up on their website SLDSpartan.com and to expect an email with instructions otherwise. Signing up, I was initially approved and then mysteriously "unapproved" within five minutes. Googling the email contact cc'ed with the approval and unapproval email notifications, I found numerous negative reviews for the company via its official website that included citation of multi-level-marketing tactics, including this damning one: "they will say that you don't get paid the first month and that as soon as you are hired, you will be tasked with recruitment of five more team members". Another review stated: "Focus more on you bringing in other new inexperienced agents rather than actually helping families financially". url: [URL] Apparently, the people inducted to this group are pressured into purchasing life insurance under unclear terms, and are instructed to provide the company with contact information for their friends and family in order for those people to also be pressured into purchasing life insurance policies. It might be skating by, legally, but for all intents and purposes the company and SLD are one and the same, both scams.
