Dating site
Hi I have just joined this dating site Smooch.com. Its free until you want to do anything any good no problem with that so I paid their price which was half there usual price so I paid £15 on my credit card. I started on my profile as you do fine uploaded my photo ok had to be checked which I understood it had been accepted on other sites with no problem it was only my face nothing bare nobody else in photo it was the bog standard photo so I waited using the site seemed good then I looked it had been rejected no reason why. OK I just uploaded another bog standard photo but that was also rejected kept saying please select a user every photo so I tried to contact them just saying why and explaining my problem no human response just a machine with do's and don'ts well my photo was a do and I am still waiting for a response, don't join this site waste of time more importantly waste of cash? typical photo supplied

The whole idea of finding a partner is a good one. The thing i dislike is they say its free, they then find a way of charging you some money for a improved (smooch experience) When i found this out and the fact they kept sending me emails telling me someone liked me and i tried to view who they were on about it was a advert for thier full experince i had to pay for. I told them to delete my profile and it too ages for them to do has i asked.
NEVER use this site i was there for a while met someone i like started dating i deleted my account months ago but turns out im still on there can't log in and says they dont have my email details theyre supposed to help relationship but all they do is $#*! u over for advertising money!
The site is run by complete amateurs written in an out-of-date programming language
The site is run by complete amateurs written in an out-of-date programming language. The splash screen says copyright 2010 but inside it says copyright 2006. The badly created CSS which is written by Jeff and has so many mistakes in it plus the endless site bugs it has. For example they have rules where you can block age range or smokers, add that user as a favourite and you can contact them. The chat messenger that doesn't work correctly, the search doesn't work if you copy/paste but does if you type it in.
They also charge you to remove the advertising. But if you add the Google pageads url etc to the hosts file (C:WindowsSystem32DriversEtc) you can do it yourself permantently for free. That will also remove Google from the other sites too. Like one of the other reviews said they are out to make money from the advertising only. A couple of users have also asked me in the past to click on some of the adverts which is against Google Adsense rules, which if reported would lose the site all their advertising.
The amount of fake pics and dating scammers on there is unbelieable but compared to Plenty of Fish (who are well known to keep fake profiles on there for hits/revenue) it's only small.
