I had a guy in yesterday to try to schedule a consultant to "increase my sales and profits". Sounded very much like a firm i hired years ago, but couldn't remember their name. Got very suspicious when he told me sms was in business only 2 years, but had all this experience helping businesses. When i got his business card, it had very little information on it. Although he said he lives and works in my city, his phone number had a "foreign" area code and there was no email information on it to contact him.

What really got me was the address on the card. "why did buffalo grove, il ring a bell", i thought. After he left i did some searching on google, and found complaints about the company, and there it was: ipa, the company that ripped me off years ago. Very clever; change the name of the company so you can rip people off again! I called the guy's number on his card to tell him not to call back. I got what sounded like a call center, who forwarded me to someone else, who said the rep was not available, and that he'd have him call me back. Then "click". He hung up on me. Didn't take my name or number.

Just like most people on this post have said, stay away from these guys! Btw, i've grown my business exponentially without these so - called "consultants".

Not scam - not fraud! Did any one of these commentator ever say the did not agree to move forward? No! So enough said. They agreed. . . Would you believe a business owner or anyone that agreed used your product then changes their mind and did not want to pay your company for services you rendered?
[redacted] is the scam - here is the real truth: http: / / youtu. Be / mhacf1fykne

I have had nothing but praise since they are truly excellent in the real time information that save a $40k tax bill due and turn it into pennies on the dollar. Gave real time information tools and systems. Also they put together a marketing plan that is working and increasing sales and it did not cost much. But it working and i would advise you not to listen to all this non - sense but make a informed decision with real information and not rhetoric and non - sense. This a our livelihood business and they have some solution look at it. It does not cost you to look. You make your own decision just like when you started the business you are in. I am sure you had many of people tell you it would not work, or that it would fail, etc. However no one can estimate, faith, drive, & determination of one's heart. Get the survey and have the anaylst to come out then judge for your self. Don't let all of these yeah - hews, negative people stop you from trying a no risk obligation real world assessment of your business. It was eye opening to me to know some of the areas in which i was failing and which areas i was succeeding. Get it done. As all of you small businesses know is that information is power and the lack there of could result in mistakes or even worst failure. It tough out here to make it an anything that can help i am all for looking into. Do be swayed until you have more information then relying on some internet naysayers and disgruntled employees. Bible - kjv 2 timothy 2:15 study to show yourself approved to god, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Niv 2 timothy 2
An unashamed workman

14remind them of these things, and solemnly charge them in the presence of god not to wrangle about words, which is useless and leads to the ruin of the hearers. 15be diligent to present yourself approved to god as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth. 16but avoid worldly and empty chatter, for it will lead to further ungodliness, 17and their talk will spread like gangrene. Among them are hymenaeus and philetus, 18men who have gone astray from the truth saying that the resurrection has already taken place, and they upset the faith of some. 19nevertheless, the firm foundation of god stands, having this seal;the lord knows those who are his, and, ;everyone who names the name of the lord is to abstain from wickedness. , here is the real truth: http: / / youtu. Oh lord had yet another one came to us with the "Free" consultation. Two day later I was able to get her out the door. Finally she admitted that if she could look at our taxes and save us at least $25000.00 wouldn't it be worth it for us to pay her company $15000.00. There is no way that I would ever give my personal information to any company that called me and said they needed it for whatever reason! Really I have no idea where or to who that info goes. I guess these companies are hard up to get money from some where. It won't be from us. The entire conversation went basically that my CPA doesn't know anything and my lawyer is an idiot. Because they have not advised me correctly and are costing me money. Yea sure that is why I get all information about current and coming tax breaks. Apparently we have stayed in business for over 37 years and do not know anything at all! Do you suppose I don't have to use deception to get customers and lie to them to get their money? Geez people get a clue high pressure and fast talking using practice of calling anyone that you trust an idiot is usually someone that is desperate to get their hands on your money. And guess what you won't get what you thought you would. However they will get what they were after YOUR MONEY and lots of it! And you know what if you work for these companies would we expect you to do anything but try to cover these practices... come on not all of us are as stupid as you would like to think.

End of our "meeting" went like this... so are you going to let me look at your taxes? I reply I will talk to (owner) and let you know tomorrow. She insisted I give her an answer right now! BIG MISTAKE! So I gave her my answer NO! She pushed some more. I said do you not understand what NO means? She stated I didn't have any chance of making a sale here did I? I told her not a snowballs chance! Not my first time at this rodeo either! These tactics are so old and worn out why are people still falling for them?

I had a woman in Dallas named Lori come and meet with me yesterday; I was cordial and let her do her spiel. At the end of the 1 hour talk, I told her I would carve some time out on Thursday to meet with Troy of SMS. Well, needless to say, the very next day, which is Wednesday (today) another woman came in from SMS and said that she was sent here instead of Troy because he had other appointments and could not make it. I told her I was expecting a Troy on Thursday and NOT today. She didn't like the idea of me turning her away and I actually felt kind of bad so I gave her some of my time. I gave her 45 minutes of my time that put me behind my daily tasks at my business. When I pointed to my watch and told her she only had 5 minutes to wrap it up, she gave me a look that could have shot daggers through her eyeglasses. She said "Do you want me to help you with your business and make it grow?" That right there was a dead giveaway. She was pushy as hell and I felt like she needed to leave. I told her leave or I would call the police. I guess the b-i-t-c-h didn't think I would do it because she stayed seated, so my secretary called the cops on her. Once my secretary gave the address to our shop, she got up and left. She threatened me with collecting her payment and I told her to get lost and she wouldn't collect squat from me. Beware because these people are very pushy and don't follow your instructions. They are a group of con artists who promise to NOT COLLECT any fees up front and only want a free consultation with you to go over your business strategy. I got a call not long after she left (about 15 mins) and it was her boss telling me I spoke to him yesterday and that today was the day for the consult; I told him "nope" and that it was set for Thursday. He became angry that I turned his colleague away and that I knew they had lawsuits pending in Illinois for fraud. I told him that if any one of their people contact me again, I would become a party to the class action against them. I hung up so let's hope they drop off the face of the planet.
