We deposited 7500 as a down payment. We never used the timeshare after we realised that we were scammed by a liar salesman. The Melia scam took place in 2011, when we vacationed as a family in Punta Cana. It is a beautiful resort but beware of salesmen promising you earth and moon to buy a timeshare package.
