The fraud agent Jason Kanner was fired from his position in Major Model NYC and created a new fraud agency " Soul Artist Management NYC". This is to update the complaint.
My child was picked by Major Model NYC to be a model. When he went to meet them, he had to go to their apartment in Queens. Once inside he saw as many as 10 models living in this small apartment. He met with Jason Kanner who told him he could model. There were boys sleeping everywhere in the apartment. He was told he had to move into the apartment and pay over $1, 500 to sleep in a little room shared with other kids.
Jason Kanner also said he had to test shoot him for another $800.00. Many of the kids were underage and when he talked to them they told him that Jason Kanner would insist on sexual favors to make them successful and send them out to work and bring back money for Jason Kanner. Many of the other kids told him that Jason has had relations with many of the male models and if they don't cooperate they would not get anything and be blackballed from the industry. He uses scare tactics and intimidation to get what he wants. Most of the kids want to achieve their dreams so they give in and are too scared to do anything because Jason Kanner threatens them and makes them believe he can ruin their chances of becoming a model. These man is a predator and have taken a lot money and sexual favors from his models.
After paying $800 for his pictures he was told that he would be introduced to wealthy men who could help him out financially in exchange for her doing what they said. These guys need to be stopped, they are scammers, liars and predators. They get there models some free test shoots and some get into magazines but what they have to pay and do for it is really wrong and very bad. He is very scared of them and he won't say anything because he believes they can hurt his career.
They are nothing but glorified pimps and people need to be warned to stay away from them. Jason Kanner use threats and intimidation to keep the models in line and quiet. What they are doing is illegal and they need to be stopped. Parent of any child with Major Model in New York City should speak to the children immediately and find out if they have been exploited. I also found out Major has been banned by most conventions and model agencies all over the world because of complaints from parents.

The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
So, I was interested in doing my research on Jason Kanner because I would like to join his agency. Then I came across this story. When I read it, being a person who has no previous knowledge of Jason and his company, I immediate was taken back and was relieved that I took the time to do some research. But then I happen to come across another article for another modeling agency with the same EXACT wording, just a word here or number there changed a little.
Whomever is writing these articles can be very dangerous and damaging to someones livelihood. I was almost fooled, so I will take the chance and reach out to this man's company and hope for the best and be the judge for myself.

It’s not full of ####. You people are just trying to either shun the truth to get brownie points by agencies or completely naive like we were going into these meetings and believing if we just do something we would be granted a career. Well as a mode that had been represented under Soul and shot w Buce Weber and experienced certain things as well as other agents and designers and casting directors, & photographers; they’re all in it like a side hustle. Obviously given the nature of our world, and the representative of our president of USA - people use their leverage to manipulate and control people to get what they can’t otherwise get from being respectful caring friendly individual. They’re incapable of good social practice - which is why they need to use their leverage. The entire modeling industry is based on what will you do to get booked.
I totally agree with everything said here. While Jason might be a good agent, he's a horrible person and needs to be put in his place. His models are so scared of him, it's nuts.
Who ever wrote this is full of ###! Major Models is a well respected agency as is Soul Models Management. There is problems and sexuality issues in nearly every business. To suggest these agency's are full of preditors is not only a lie but LIABLE. I know Major will be taking legal action on this.
As a parent i find it hard to believe! I do business with Jason and have found him thus far to be up front, honest and professional. Soul Artist Management is a company I would trust my sons to do business with anytime.
Your completely naive and arrogant to think as an over the hill parent - and probably not Jason’s type you’d be considered a target by him or anyone else in the sex driven business of fashion
I have known Jason and have been represented by him for over 10 years. I have known him to be nothing but professional. There has never been a time where I have been subject to any of the accusations previously described. He is one of the premier bookers in the fashion industry and when you are a successful person some people feel threatened. Jason truly cares about his models. Any young man would be lucky to be represented by Mr. Kanner. Go sell crazy somewhere else.
Seems self explanatory, call the cops... And also, the gender of your child changed halfway through your story. I just can't see a concerned parent going on the internet to handle this situation.
