This company is the worst!
This company is the worst! I've been in the fitness biz for over 40 years and their service and parts supply is a joke. Their warranty is a waste of time and they should be shut down.
I been tryin' to get in touch with these guys for three days now, and I gotta say, it's been a real pain in the butt
I been tryin' to get in touch with these guys for three days now, and I gotta say, it's been a real pain in the butt. I been on hold for like 2 and a half hours total, and I ain't never got through to nobody. I left messages and everything, but no one ever calls me back. I got this fancy machine from 'em that cost me a grand, but it's busted up and I can't even use it. I wouldn't recommend messin' with these guys, they ain't worth the trouble.
Spirit Fitness is a bad company
Spirit Fitness is a bad company. Their stuff don't work right from the start, and they don't wanna pay for techs until you keep bugging them. They want you to do all the fixing yourself. They don't give back your money or let you trade for something else. You're stuck with their crappy gear.
I bought a treadmill from Spirit Fitness and got hurt 'cause of a messed up part
I bought a treadmill from Spirit Fitness and got hurt 'cause of a messed up part. They won't own up to it and the dude in charge won't even pick up the phone when I call. I ain't never gonna buy anything from them again.
Got myself a machine from Spirit Fitness for over 2 grand
Got myself a machine from Spirit Fitness for over 2 grand. But guess what? The frame broke in less than a year. Been trying to get them to fix it under warranty for weeks now. They keep saying the part is "backordered" and they don't know when it'll be available.
Honestly, I wouldn't suggest this company to anyone.
Don't even bother with them
Don't even bother with them. They're just trying to scam you out of your hard-earned money. I can't believe I fell for their lies. The treadmill was supposed to be top of the line, but it was a piece of junk. It broke down after only a few uses. And when I tried to get a refund, they just ignored me. I had to file a complaint with the ComplaintsBoard.com just to get them to respond. Stay away from Spirit Fitness if you value your money and your sanity.
Spirit Fitness ain't got no good customer service
Spirit Fitness ain't got no good customer service. Been waiting for almost 3 months to get some answers and fix some problems, but ain't nobody responding except to say it's been assigned to someone. Tried hitting them up on Facebook too, but same old story.
Their gear is alright, I guess. The electronics ain't that great and their apps are straight up garbage.
Dude, lemme tell ya, Spirit Fitness is the bomb diggity
Dude, lemme tell ya, Spirit Fitness is the bomb diggity. Their customer service is off the chain. My rowing machine was outta warranty and my pedal bases got all cracked up. I was willing to pay for new ones and shipping, but they straight up hooked me up and replaced 'em for free and paid for shipping too. I was blown away by how fast they took care of me. Highly recommend these guys.
Spirit Fitness ain't no good with their warranty
Spirit Fitness ain't no good with their warranty. They keep saying they'll fix it, but they ain't sending the parts that are covered. They keep telling me the part is backordered every time I call, and they keep pushing the timeline back a whole month. I've been at this for three months now, trying to get a new part for my treadmill.
so I copped the XBR55 from Spirit Fitness mainly for the cardio program that's supposed to keep your heart rate in check with a chest
so I copped the XBR55 from Spirit Fitness mainly for the cardio program that's supposed to keep your heart rate in check with a chest monitor. But let me tell you, that [censored] is straight up useless. The monitor don't even start picking up your heart rate until you're already sweating like a pig, even with that gel they give you. I hit up customer support and they said they can't do nothing about it. So if you don't care about monitoring your heart rate, then the bike is still pretty dope.
I needed new thingy for my Sole Treadmill
I needed new thingy for my Sole Treadmill. The old one broke 'cause of the big shocks I'd get from running on it. I got a new thingy from Spirit Fitness for $156.00 plus shipping. They told me it was the right one. But when I tried to put it in, it didn't work. I called them back and they said it was another problem that would cost $350.00 more. I sent the thingy back and paid $15.73 for shipping. But they only gave me $96.00 back! They kept $50.00 for no reason! This is not okay! Don't buy from Sole or Spirit Fitness! They're a rip-off! Look at other reviews too!
I've been waiting for my new deck/tread/motor for my treadmill for like 5 months now
I've been waiting for my new deck/tread/motor for my treadmill for like 5 months now. Every time I call the support line, they tell me I'll get the parts and the customer service dude reviews my order history with me. They said they can see 7 different orders for my replacement parts but each order is blank. I got the new belt(tread) in mid-April, but that's it. I'm super disappointed. Spirit doesn't take responsibility and hasn't offered to help me with anything. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone, not even my worst enemy. Also, since November , every time I call, I gotta wait like 15+ mins on hold cuz there's so many calls. The customer service is a joke. -Update- I'm still waiting for 2/3 of the parts to fix my treadmill.
I don't like these guys
I don't like these guys. I don't like this company. I should have read the reviews before buying from them. They sent me the wrong equipment. I spent over 8 hours on the phone over 2 weeks trying to get someone to help me. They have so many excuses for everything. That's what they do. If you want to waste your hard-earned money, then this is the company for you. I spent almost as much on shipping the item back as I did on the item itself, and they wouldn't refund me the shipping. When they finally sent me the right parts for my equipment, it wouldn't work because they didn't send the emergency stop for the treadmill. Instead of refunding me for the shipping, they said they would send me a bottle of lube and the emergency stop overnight and asked if that was a fair trade. Are you kidding me?! Even if they overnighted it, it wouldn't be enough to cover the refund I needed. I don't like these guys. They suck. How are they still in business?!
We got a Spirit Recumbent bike bout 3 months ago from a dealer in Massachusetts
We got a Spirit Recumbent bike bout 3 months ago from a dealer in Massachusetts. One of us is a heart patient and we got this bike because we liked it and they said it came with a chest strap heart rate monitor. The bike works OK, but it makes some clicking noises when we use it. The heart rate chest strap monitor doesn't work now and we tried fixing it but couldn't. We moisten it before use like the instructions say. We called Spirit and they said the heart rate monitor isn't covered by warranty, but the bike is. When they sell the chest strap heart rate monitor with the bike, we think it should be covered by warranty. We don't want a new chest strap heart rate monitor as a favor, we want a parts replacement (the chest strap heart monitor) like the warranty promised when we bought the bike. I'm bummed.

Got a busted treadmill when I unboxed it
Got a busted treadmill when I unboxed it. They said they'd send a new one, but it's been two weeks and still no show. Been trying to call them all week, but been on hold for over 4 hours. They ain't responding to my emails either. Got a busted treadmill just sitting in my foyer, can't return it 'cause the box is wrecked and too heavy.
I got a broken thing from this company
I got a broken thing from this company. Been calling and emailing for weeks, but they say they ain't got the parts to fix it and I'm stuck. Paid over 1000 bucks. Called like 30 times, but nobody answers unless I call sales. They keep saying they don't have the part and they're super rude. The treadmill was already busted before they sent it to me. Been waiting for weeks for a new part, but every time I check, they push it back and won't replace it. I spent a lot of money on this thing and nobody wants to help me out. Can someone please help me?

i got this xterra 2500 treadmill a couple years ago and it's been a real pain in the butt
i got this xterra 2500 treadmill a couple years ago and it's been a real pain in the butt. we've had problems with it from the start and even though they've sent someone out to fix it three times, it's still not safe to use. they changed some parts a few months ago and it seemed to be working better, but now it's acting up again. sometimes it just stops working while i'm running and other times it won't stop even when i want it to. it's really dangerous and i'm worried i'm going to get hurt. i'm so over this thing and just want my money back.
I got 8 new cardio machines from Spirit Fitness, but 4 of them are messed up
I got 8 new cardio machines from Spirit Fitness, but 4 of them are messed up. The stair climber was dead when I got it, so I called the company and sent them pics and vids. They were supposed to send a tech out by August 1st, but it's now September 8th and they still haven't sent anyone, even though I called them a bunch of times. Two of the ellipticals come off the track while I'm using them, which is super dangerous cuz it leaves rough metal edges that could hurt someone. And one of the recumbent bikes has messed up electronics - the buttons on the handles don't work and the resistance levels are all messed up. I finally asked for my money back after waiting a whole month for a tech, but the company just said they'd "turn in information to the supervisor."
I got a Sole F63 Treadmill, but it stopped working
I got a Sole F63 Treadmill, but it stopped working. I called Spirit Fitness and they said it was a bad controller board. I paid $350 for a new board and belt. But the new board broke fast. They said it was a bad belt motor, which has a lifetime warranty. It's been 2 months and I still don't have the new parts. A rep (*** at extension ***) said he ordered them, but they don't answer my calls or emails. They won't fix the belt motor even though it has a lifetime warranty. The last order number was XXXXXX-X.
I got myself an xterrra trx4500 from Spirit Fitness
I got myself an xterrra trx4500 from Spirit Fitness. When I got it in November , it didn't work right out of the box. They fixed it, but now it's broken again. I bought it in September , and it took until November to get it. When I got it, it didn't work, so I called xterrra and they sent a guy to fix it. In January , it broke again, so I called the company and they sent another guy, but he couldn't fix it. Now I'm stuck with a broken treadmill that's still under warranty. I don't get it. My Serial Number is XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX. This treadmill has been messed up since I got it. I've only used it like 20 times, and I paid over $1000 for it. They should have given me my money back or sent me a new one that worked right.
I got a problem with my Spirit Fitness tredmill again
I got a problem with my Spirit Fitness tredmill again. When I first got it a few years ago, it was overheating, but they replaced it with a new one. Now, the new one is getting worse every day. It smells bad after just 30 minutes of walking at 2 mph, and it stops suddenly when I try to run. I weigh 170 pounds, and I've seen other people with the same issues. This machine has a lifetime warranty on the frame and motor, so I want them to do something about it. They replaced the motor before, but now I'm worried about accidents and fires.
I got a motor controller for my treadmill from Spirit Fitness, but it didn't fix the problem
I got a motor controller for my treadmill from Spirit Fitness, but it didn't fix the problem. So, I sent it back on 11/16 and they got it on 11/19. I had to call them a bunch of times before they gave me a refund of $200 on 12/18. They said I would get the full refund, but I only got $200. I've been calling and emailing tech supporter *** for the $50 balance, but they haven't given it to me yet. It's been over 2 months since they got the product back. I want my money back.
SpiritFitness is not good at replacing parts
SpiritFitness is not good at replacing parts. I bought an Xxterra RSX1500 Seated Stepper in July . In October, a part broke and I called customer service. They said they would send a replacement, but they sent the wrong part. I called again and sent photos, but the parts they sent were still wrong. I sent more photos and measurements, but they never responded. I emailed them a few times, but they still didn't reply. It's been a long time and I still don't have the right part.
I got my Spirit Fitness treadmill in April and by August it was kaput
I got my Spirit Fitness treadmill in April and by August it was kaput. I called Spirit Fitness and it took over a month to finally have someone come to fix it. They said my warranty would be extended. Cool. A one-time thing? Not really. Fast forward to August and it broke again. I called Spirit Fitness and it wasn't until November that someone came out to fix it. I had to wait a few weeks for the parts to arrive. After it was "fixed" in November, it only worked for 3 days before breaking again. The belt caught and sent me flying off the treadmill. I was lucky that I wasn't hurt. I called Spirit Fitness again... and again... and again... It's been over a month since the second repair that almost sent me flying off the treadmill and I STILL haven't heard from anyone. I've emailed and called several times. No one gets back to me. I don't trust this machine. I'm scared to use it again. No amount of "repairs" will make me feel comfortable on this machine.
I got a problem with Spirit Fitness
I got a problem with Spirit Fitness. I was checkin' out their website to buy an elliptical machine on February 15. While I was lookin', I clicked on a button to see if I could pay monthly (2/15). After answerin' a few questions, without givin' any income or nothin', they approved me and submitted the order. My problem is that I didn't order it. I tried callin' right away to cancel. I also sent over five emails to cancel this order within ten days. On February 25th, I got an email sayin' my order was shipped with a trackin' number *** for Fed Ex. I tried callin' the company again. I had to call FED EX to get the shipment rerouted. Then I found a Facebook page that wrote a nasty comment, and someone contacted me through messenger. I still haven't had anyone contact me. But I know the cancel was ordered through the fed ex tracking number. I didn't order this equipment and shouldn't have to go this far to cancel it. I did talk to someone from service and they said they would have someone call me. Which they never did. I think there's some kind of scam goin' on. Order_Number: XXXXXXXX.
I gotta say, I ain't too happy with Spirit Fitness
I gotta say, I ain't too happy with Spirit Fitness. I had to order some replacement parts for my Sole E95 Elliptical, and they sent me the wrong dang thing! Took 'em forever to finally get me the right part, too. And now, just a few months later, the metal footplate they sent me is already busted! I mean, come on, the original part lasted me six years, and these replacements can't even make it six months? I've spent almost $300 on these parts, and I don't think that's right. I'm pretty frustrated, to be honest.
I got the RSX 1500 Seated Stepper from Spirit Fitness on 1/23
I got the RSX 1500 Seated Stepper from Spirit Fitness on 1/23. Since then, we had to call a repairman five times because the equipment broke on 2/14, 9/24, 10/1, 12/31, and 1/23. Spirit Fitness confirmed all these repairs by email and said they were covered under the one-year warranty. We tried calling the company several times before the 1/23 repair, but they didn't return our calls. We wanted to return the equipment at their expense or to the store where we bought it and have them deliver a new one. But since we didn't hear back, we called the local repairman (for the fifth time), and he fixed it. I think he's an independent contractor, and we have no problem with him.
We had no choice but to get it repaired since the company wasn't responding. Finally, on 2/23, we got hold of a service supervisor. He refused to offer us a new one and said that if it broke again (later than two months), he would not replace it but pay for the parts and labor. If it broke within the two months, he would potentially replace it. However, that's not what the email of 2/23 stated. It just said he extended the warranty for two months. This equipment can break in three months or less or more. The first time it broke after seven months, and the time after that, it was only one week. So if it breaks two months and one day later, it would do us no good. We would have to pay for the total repair. If the company had only returned our calls before the fifth time it was repaired, we would have had the opportunity to exchange it for a new one. But since they didn't, we got it repaired, and now, if it doesn't break in two months, we are totally responsible. This equipment is obviously a lemon. If it breaks six times after the two months, we are totally responsible. I called and sent another email and stated that the email is not stating what was promised!
