Talking to Square Enix is getting me NOWHERE. I opened two tickets, and when on the website, and called support.
My issue is when I opened my FINAL FANTASY XVI COLLECTORS EDITION box.
The box that was supposed to house the pin and map set was missing. I have contacted them several times specifically for this issue.
They resent me the email code for the in-game bonus items, which I didn't ask for, and deemed my issue as resolved. It is NOT resolved as I did not ask the the email code as I was lucky enough to already get it.
I asked them/told them specifically about my missing map and pins set that I did not receive in my box.
They therfore think that because they sent me the email code for the in-game items, which I didn't ask for, therefore they did this issue as resolved.
It is not resolved.
I also had to unfortunately go to Ebay to buy this items that should have came with my purchase butdidn't.
I had to spend $154.29 just for these items that were missing from my collectors edition.
I preordered this edition from the Square Enix Store on 5/18/2023.
The total I paid was $410.10.

Desired outcome: I would like to get some of my original purchase price back. I believe it to be appropriate to be refunded my $154.29 I spent on eBay.I would really love for them to send me my items as promised and originally purchased.
Upon further review I also did just notice I also didn't bot recieve the correct steelbook that was supposed to come with this edition. I recieved the one that anyone could have recieved if they preordered the game from Best Buy.
