Lisa S. has helped me before in their Customer Service Dept. Each time I have had a question she has resolved the problem. The only thing I can say negatively has nothing to do with the Customer Service Department, but as a customer for many years I have always paid my renewal before the due date each year. I always get a Notice of Expiration/Cancellation of policy and I have to call to verify that it was paid and I paid it phone.

I called her for a quote, and she asked all the right questions, then gave me a fair quote for the insurance I needed, and that was it! No nonsense. No ridiculous "qualifications" No hassle. Thanks to Rebecca and Standard Insurance for all their help!

I live out of state from the home I purchased and she made it an easy, pleasant process for me to complete. I feel, she understood and answered all my concerns, throughout the process. Generally pretty good
Generally pretty good. My main complaint is their renewal process. My renewal is due on the 21st of January. Yet every year at least a week before this date they will send me a notice of cancellation telling me I haven't yet paid and my policy will be terminated if I do not pay by the 31st. Why even put a due date if you're going to ignore it? This is not friendly customer service. I know of no other company that does this. Annoying, insulting, and aggravating.

Phoned in a claim on Nov.8 2022. Had a huge hail storm here and needed my roof inspected. Spoke to a representative on the phone and she was very friendly and professional. AND they came the same day! Can't ask for more than that. Good job!

CSR was extremely helpful. Our renewal document was lost in the mail, which caused a cancellation notice to be issued. The mistake was corrected, but we were left with questions as to why the incident happened. The representative walked us through the process and emailed a copy of the policy. She was a breath of fresh air.

During this time I had one claim and was treated like a valued customer. Even though I had to deal with a Manager to get my claim fully resolved, we worked together to conclude my claim satisfactorily. I have sold our house and dealt with a young lady named Lora H and she was fabulous to deal with, which made me feel like a valued customer even as I was canceling my policy.

I have been with Standard Casualty INS. for 15yrs.We only had one incident that we filed a claim.The Claims Adjuster was very empathetic and concerned when I told her about the damage to our trailer and roof. They sent out someone the next day to assess the damage and our repairs were done in a timely manner.Also, *** in the *** was very Professional and helpful when we sold our place and cancelled our Policy. We were so pleased with Standard Casualty that we recommended the Buyers use their Insurance.

I have had my mobile home policy with Standard for nearly a decade
I have had my mobile home policy with Standard for nearly a decade. Most of my correspondence with the company has been by mail or email, but today (01/20) I needed policy information very urgently, so I called the company. The customer service representative, Marcella M, helped me immediately, had no trouble finding my account, and was very friendly throughout the process...which was less than five minutes, I might add. Within less than two minutes I had received by computer the information I needed. I would certainly reccomend this company for mobile home insurance, and I would like to commend Marcella for her prompt but very friendly service. Wes M

I cannot express my high regard for working with Standard Insurance. Agent M went above and beyond for me. She is honest and upfront with everything. She was always helpful and available to assist me. I definitely recommend Standard Insurance because of the way they took such great care of all my insurance needs. Agent M is the most helpful Insurance Agent I have ever dealt with. Excellent service. My Brother and Sister in law recommended me to Standard and said I would not get better coverage with better agents and then once I talked with Agent M I knew which insurance company would get my business. Had a water tank leaking over a period of time, however it is in a water closet out back(its not in a garage like a standard house) I never knew it was leaking over a period of time.(why would I) I had no loss in water pressure, no signs of water damage through the walls cause the water closet backs to my bathroom that is covered by my tub, and the other inner wall is blocked by my washer and dryer. So why would I ever check my water heater. Real convenient for the insurance company to say.( well its been on going so you essentially let damage happen) Yes I want water damage on my home and pay you every month just to be denied when I need you. Shame on standard insurance for taking hard working money and then deny people when they need them.

Lisa S. was quick to help. The *** listed online (and on the notice that I received in the mail) did not work. When you click on "Contact" at the top of the website, it leads you to a form that you can fill out to request for help. After filling out the required fields, I clicked "Submit" and it said in red letters "Prove that you are human". I chalked this up to a technical difficulty. Thankfully, on their home page, you can click on the "How can we help?" link at the bottom of the screen. *** was the available representative that responded right away. She then called me so that we could discuss the policy holder's account (the company that I work for sold the home to the policy holder/we are the lienholder). *** proceeded to email me a copy of the policy statement for our records. Thank you for the help, ***!

We began searching for a new insurance company after bad experiences with others in the past. Not only were we paying too much for our coverage, but the service was also poor. We came across an advertisement for Standard Casualty in a magazine. We called thinking we had nothing to lose. We are so thankful we did. Not only do we now have better coverage at a lesser rate, but Sarah McDaniel was an absolute joy to work with. She is very knowledgeable, patient, personable and professional. She answered all of our questions and called us back each and every time that she promised to do so. Some of you may think this review is a little premature considering the fact that we have not had Standard Casualty long enough to even use it! It is my hope we do not ever have the need to file a claim. But should that occasion arise, I feel secure in knowing that someone has our back.

They keep giving me different reasons for the delay, and the inspector hasn't been returning my calls. When he did finally call me back, he lied and said he was waiting on the examiner. However, the examiner said she was waiting on him. This back and forth has been going on for weeks, and the water damage has made me and my wife sick from the mold inside the walls, kitchen cabinets, and floors.

Standard Casualty Company did not act professionally with my claim. They said that Matt and Diana did not like the company that was working on my water-damaged floor and wall. They blamed me for choosing the wrong company. I was in a bad situation because a pipe burst in my wall and flooded the subfloor. The wall absorbed water like a sponge and water collected in my vents. I called a plumber who couldn't find the leak and called another company to pull the shower. That's when they found all the damage. This insurance company won't give me enough money to fix everything. They complain about the company I chose and say it's my fault. Diana complained about her workload and said that Standard doesn't like Ecodry, who did the tear-down. She also complained about how tear-down companies rip people off. The funds they gave me are not enough.
