I signed a publishing agreement with Stratton Press LLC on December 2, 2017 and paid them $1,797.00. My book was published in June 2018. They breached their contract by failing to provide semi-annual statements until February 2022 and then only after I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. In addition, I never received statements for the 4th Qtr 2019, 4th Qtr 2021, 1st Qtr 2022, 2nd Qtr 2022, 3rd Qtr 2022, 1st Qtr 2023, 2nd Qtr 2023, and the 3rd Qtr 2023. In addition, they failed to pay royalties due shown on the statements.They also failed to provide Amazon Author Page Optimization, Goodreads Author Page Optimization, and website creation or redesign plus Optimization.
Claimed loss: $1,797.00
Desired outcome: Refund the $1,797 paid. At a minimum, pay the reported $557.89 royalties due. In addition, cease and desist from all marketing and sales activity and remove all Stratton Press Publishing online listings for my book.
