Finding Support and Connection: A Review of a Mental Health Chat Room
This website is a great place to go when you're feeling down and need someone to talk to. The people here are always available to chat with you, unlike some crisis lines where you have to wait on hold for a long time. The chat room is a great feature that allows you to connect with others who are going through similar struggles.
I've been a member of this site for a couple of years now, and I always come back when I'm feeling low. The people here are so supportive and understanding, and they really make you feel like you're not alone. It's nice to know that there are others out there who are going through the same things as you.
One of the things I really appreciate about this site is that the people here actually remember you. Even if you haven't been on the site for a while, they still recognize you and welcome you back with open arms. It's like having a second family that you can turn to when you need them the most.
Overall, I would highly recommend this site to anyone who is struggling with their mental health. The people here are kind, compassionate, and always willing to lend an ear. It's a safe space where you can be yourself and talk about your feelings without fear of judgment. If you're feeling alone and need someone to talk to, this is the place to go.
SuicideForum Review: A Safe Haven for Those Struggling with Suicidal Thoughts
I found myself in a really dark place and didn't know where to turn. That's when I stumbled upon SuicideForum. At first, I was hesitant to join because I didn't know what to expect. But I took a chance and I'm so glad I did. The people on SuicideForum are some of the kindest and most supportive individuals I've ever met.
Sure, there are times when things get a little heated or someone might say something that rubs you the wrong way. But that's just life, right? Overall, the community is incredibly welcoming and non-judgmental. It's a place where you can be yourself and feel heard.
The moderators do a pretty good job of keeping things in check. They're not perfect, but they're human just like the rest of us. I appreciate that they treat everyone fairly and don't play favorites.
Whenever I'm feeling down, I know I can turn to SuicideForum for support. It's comforting to know that there are people out there who understand what I'm going through and are willing to lend an ear.
Overall, I highly recommend SuicideForum to anyone who is struggling with suicidal thoughts or just needs a safe space to vent. It's not a substitute for professional help, but it can be a valuable supplement to your mental health journey.
Toxic and Bullying Environment: My Experience with SuicideForum
I gotta say, when I first hopped on SuicideForum, I thought it was pretty decent. But then things took a turn for the worse. I ended up getting bullied on the site and even outside of it. It was so bad that I had to change my phone number just to escape the harassment. It was a real nightmare.
Now, I will say that I did meet one really amazing person on there who I'm still tight with to this day. But other than that, I regret ever joining that place. It didn't do anything to help me out. In fact, it just made me feel even more suicidal than I already was. It's just a really toxic environment overall.
I know that there are some folks out there who have had positive experiences on SuicideForum, but for me, it was a total bust. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who's struggling with mental health issues. There are better resources out there that can actually provide some real help and support.
SuicideForum: A Safe Haven for Mental Health Support and Connection
This forum is called SuicideForum, but don't worry, it's not a place that promotes suicide. Most of the people who are members here are not even thinking about ending their lives. It's actually a really good place to find support if you're dealing with depression, anxiety, or other mental health issues. There are also many members who are dealing with physical health problems too.
One of the best things about this forum is the chat rooms. They are a great way to connect with other people who are going through similar struggles. If you're feeling like you might harm yourself, there are many people here who are willing to talk to you about it. However, if you're in a crisis and need immediate help, it's important to call a crisis line or go to the emergency room.
Overall, SuicideForum is a great resource for anyone who is struggling with mental health issues. It's a safe place to talk about your feelings and connect with others who understand what you're going through. So if you're feeling alone or overwhelmed, give this forum a try. You might be surprised at how much it can help.
Review: SuicideForum - A Welcoming Community for Mental Health Support
SuicideForum is a place where people can come together to talk about their struggles and find support from others who understand what they are going through. It's not for everyone, but for those who are looking for a community of people who are dealing with similar issues, it can be a great resource.
One of the things that I really appreciate about SuicideForum is the live chat feature. It's a great way to connect with others in real-time and get immediate support when you need it. Of course, the responses you get from other users will vary, but that's to be expected in any online community.
What I really like about SuicideForum is that it feels like a welcoming and sincere community. The people there are dealing with real problems and they understand what it's like to struggle with mental health issues. If you're looking for a place where you can be yourself and find support from others who know what you're going through, this is a great place to start.
Of course, SuicideForum isn't perfect. It can be a bit rough around the edges at times, but that's because the people there are dealing with real problems. However, the moderation is very safe and there is a strong sense of community among the users.
Overall, I would definitely recommend SuicideForum to anyone who is struggling with mental health issues and looking for a supportive community. It's not for everyone, but for those who are willing to put in the effort to connect with others and find support, it can be a great resource.
Mixed Experience on SuicideForum: A Review
When I first joined SuicideForum, I was feeling lost and alone. I was recommended to check it out by a friend, and I was hopeful that it would be a place where I could find some comfort and support. And for the most part, I did find some helpful and reassuring posters. It was nice to know that there were others out there who were going through similar struggles as me.
However, there was one particular person on the forum that I had a problem with. I don't want to name them to protect my privacy, but they said things that I don't think were helpful for people in crisis. It was frustrating to see someone who was supposed to be there to offer support and guidance, instead say things that could potentially make someone feel worse. It made me question whether or not this was the right place for me.
In the end, I decided to leave the forum. It just wasn't the right fit for me. I found that other places in my life were more helpful for me, and I was able to find the support and guidance that I needed elsewhere. Since then, my life has significantly improved and is overall good now. I don't see myself posting on that forum again.
But just because I had a negative experience doesn't mean that it's not a helpful resource for others. We are all different, and what works for one person may not work for another. So if you're considering checking out SuicideForum, don't let my negative experience deter you. It may be just what you need to find the support and guidance that you're looking for.
Warning: My Experience with SuicideForum Left Me Feeling Unsupported and Hurt
I recently had an experience on SuicideForum that left me feeling unsupported and hurt. I am currently dealing with an abusive husband and was seeking help and support from the community. However, instead of receiving the support I was hoping for, I received a less than helpful reply from the site owner. She started shaming and blaming me for the abuse I was experiencing, which only made me feel worse.
To make matters worse, another staff member joined the thread and was incredibly hurtful towards me as well. They also shamed and blamed me for the abuse I was experiencing. When I filed a complaint about their behavior, the site owner became extremely abusive towards me and refused to take ownership of their offensive behavior towards me. She even accused me of being the abuser in my relationship, which was completely untrue and hurtful.
The staff member who was rude to me also said some hurtful things, such as "I wouldn't want to be with you with THAT attitude!" This was incredibly insensitive, especially considering that I was standing up to abuse from my husband and was verbally fighting back. I went to SuicideForum for help with my abusive marriage, not to become more of a victim to more abuse and victim shaming and blaming.
As someone who is struggling with mental health issues, this kind of treatment could have sent me into a downward spiral. It's important to remember that SuicideForum is a suicide prevention site, and comments and treatment like this can be incredibly damaging to someone who is already struggling. I would caution anyone who is seeking improved mental health to think twice before joining this site.
Mixed Experience with SuicideForum: A Supportive Community Marred by Destructive Behavior
When I first stumbled upon SuicideForum, I was in a dark place. I was struggling with my mental health and felt like I had nowhere to turn. But the members on this site were like a ray of sunshine in my life. They were all so kind, supportive, and helpful. I made some amazing friends there, and even met a few of them in person. We still keep in touch to this day.
However, my experience with the site took a turn for the worse when the owner of the forum and her sidekick decided they didn't like me. They went out of their way to insult me, interfere with my conversations, and hurt me in any way they could. When I tried to confront them about it, they belittled me and talked about me behind my back. It was like they were trying to destroy any progress I had made on the site.
To make matters worse, they even went through my personal messages with another member and completely poisoned that relationship. I was devastated, and when I tried to talk to the forum owner about it, she and her sidekick told me that they could do whatever they wanted because it was their forum. They didn't care about my complaints because they didn't care about me.
Despite all of this, I still believe that SuicideForum can be a helpful resource for those struggling with mental health issues. But it's important to be aware of the potential for destructive behavior from the site's owner and her sidekick. It's a shame that such a supportive community can be marred by the actions of a few individuals.
SuicideForum: A Safe Haven for Those Struggling with Suicidal Thoughts
I just wanted to share my thoughts on SuicideForum (suicideforum.com) and express my sincere gratitude towards the kind-hearted people who make up this community. In my humble opinion, this is the cleanest and safest place on the internet that I have ever come across. Although I do suffer from depression at times, I find solace in knowing that I am not alone in my struggles. This is a peer support group where people come together to help each other through the hard times.
It's important to remember that everyone who comes to this forum is dealing with their own issues, and we must validate each other's pain. This is the key to feeling comfortable in a space like this. SuicideForum is a pro-life peer support forum, which means that it is not occupied by those who do not understand how it feels to be suicidal. The members here hold the opinion that life is precious, and they are more careful when discussing methods. I have been to pro-choice sites as well, and I have seen their opinion on pro-lifers. However, it's different here. The members understand the struggles of suicidal thoughts and offer support without judgment.
I joined SuicideForum when I was just 15 years old, and I am grateful for the admin who tried to protect me from doing immature things as a vulnerable teen. This shows that the community is responsible and cares for its members.
The rule of life can be harsh, but it's a reality that we must face. If you make one mistake, people won't let it go, even if you have done a lot of good things. However, I am full of appreciation for this site. The people here are trying to live, despite the hard fight with suicidal thoughts, and they support each other in this tough battle.
If this forum doesn't help you, then it's okay to take a break and find better support. However, I wish you find peace in a way that works for you if you are suffering so much. SuicideForum has helped me, and I believe it can help others too. Don't block that chance for others to see hope.
In conclusion, SuicideForum is a place where people come together to support each other through the hard times. It's a community that cares for its members and offers a safe space for those who are struggling with suicidal thoughts. If you are looking for support, then I highly recommend giving SuicideForum a try.
Warning: Dangerous Predator on Forum - Stay Away!
This website is not a good place to be. While I did meet some nice people, there was one person who was just terrible. He took advantage of my trust and used my trauma against me when he snapped at me one day. It was so bad that I almost spiraled into suicidal thoughts. I would advise anyone to stay away from this disgusting website. There is a predator on the forum who is actively preying on people. The moderators are not doing anything about it, and they are clearly biased. Me and others have tried to report this person multiple times, but the mods just don't seem to care. We had a lot of evidence that this person is a pedophile and that he is unkind, but the mods just ignored it. Freya, the owner of the website, even told the user not to tell others about him! This just proves that she knows he is trouble, but she won't do anything about it because she cares more about her own reputation than the safety of the users on the forum.
I was labeled as "aggressive" and accused of having a "major vendetta" against this person because he snapped at me. They also accused me of being unkind and aggressive to other members, which is not true. There is no evidence of that. I find it ironic that they told me I have no evidence of what I said about the pedophile on the forum when I had evidence/screenshots of his inappropriate behavior. Yet, they tell me I have been very unkind and aggressive to other members, and there has been no proof of that on my end. I have been a member of this forum since 2015, and this person was the only one I had a problem with. I agree with the other negative reviews about Freya, the owner. If she takes a dislike to you, she will accuse and insult you. Walker, her husband and sidekick, is just as bad.
The moderators are clearly biased and have their favorites. Despite all the horrible things this person has said to me and my friend on the forum, and to other women on other forums, the mods just don't seem to care. We showed them screenshots of him admitting to having a relationship with a 14-year-old girl when he was in his mid-30s, but he still gets a free pass. Meanwhile, my account gets disabled, and I have to write a letter to get it back. It's disgusting, and I don't want to be on the same site as that pedophile/abuser.
Please stay away from this forum. It's not safe. There is an active predator on the forum, and the mods won't do anything about it. I have a feeling that the mods are also abusers/narcissists themselves. Please stay away!
I found this site to be a very welcoming and supportive resources. Not everyone who is struggling has the same path to recovery, but I think it's worth looking into suicideforum to see if it's right for you.
