This is the worst, most rude, snobby, cheating, lying, place I have EVER Been. They place adds for 1 week free tanning, then refuse to let you tan--Yes it had been OVER a YEAR since I was there-The employees make fun and roll their eyes at you if you have a question. You are not allowed to tan the length of time promised by "Yesterdays" employee.
I was TOLD I had to purchase a $90.00 bottle of tanning lotion in order to tan! Then when I refused to purchase the lotion and showed her the add she "Allowed" me to tan. THEN, as I was getting ready to tan, the employee was talking ABOUT ME, Loud enough for me and everyone in the salon to hear. I was also told I had to purchase New Eye Wear to tan, mine was not approved, I had purchased these goggles FROM Suntan City 1 yr and 2 months ago. After telling the employee this, she retorts, OOOHHH I guess their Alright.
I have heard the conversations or Sales Technique being used on other people at the counter, These Barbie Want-to-be's are so rude to everyone. I have never wished misfortune on any business but TODAY, this Rude, Snobby, Cheating company gets the curse! Word of mouth travels a long way in My Town!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

There is a girl that works there I believe her name is crystal, she was so rude! They really need to do better with who they hire.
I just had the same experience at the Sun Tan City in Ames, Iowa. It is the same frustrating experience every time I go in and all they are doing is having me leave more and more pissed off each time! I really regret signing up for a contract through the rest of the year. One girl follows one set of rules and the other follows another set of rules. It seems as if all they want to do is find a way to not let you tan or get your money so they don't have to clean another bed.
I definitely agree with complaints that I seen about the horrible and condescending people at Turkey Creek location. The regional manager is by fair the most unprofessional person and her staff acts as rude and condescending as she does. They are unethical too. Take my money and then cancel my membership without giving a refund. This is considered fraud and I plan to contact the TN State Attorney's office as well.
I was at The Newport News, Va STC in the Design area of Newport News, Va. The girl working was NOT suited to work with public. She had a very negative/ snotty attitude right off the bat. After I paid my fees for the accelerator that I always get along with the Versa Pro. There was 1 lady ahead of me ( this particular location only has 1 sunless Versa Pro). About 20 mins after waiting, the lady in the Versa Pro was done, and I went in to do mine. I went into the Versa room about 6:45pm. I was in the room no more then 15--20. I have been a Member of STC for close to five (5) years. I have NEVER been rudely treated, or mistreated by a Staff person @ STC, until this evening. BTW, there was one lady waiting for the Versa after me, and when I left, there was the same customer waiting, NO other customers were waiting in the store when I left. I also want to mention that I'm 58 years old, and I have a disability with my left knee & leg, with painful tendinitis. It takes me 1--2 mins to get in & out of my pants b/ c of this disability, and I limp. I mention that b/c Staff needs to understanding that middle aged people don't move as fast as younger people do. My complaint is: the girl that worked tonight banged on my door asking me to hurry up, because there was 1 other lady after me. No Staff has the right to ask a Customer to " hurry up" at STC. Until tonight, NO Staff at STC has ever done that. My suggestion is that the girl on duty ( don't know her name) gets spoken to by Manager, or goes to a job where she is better suited ( not in the public service realm). The girl stated " she was just checking on me". That is a lie, because with her next breath she told me to hurry up. PLZ take this serious, b/c I hope this doesn't happen to someone else ( Customer). Also, when a Customer has been faithful in being a paying Customer at STC as long as I have, and I pay for the monthly unlimited Versa + the $5 accelerator every time I go ( which is on average 2 twice a week. Thank you for your time.
