Mandy the breeder boasts of grade a Rottweilers I bought one for 2600 dollars 400 dollars less then her show quality dogs I paid 1/2 in advance 1/2 when my son went to pick up dog he noticed the dogs hair was unusually long he was told hair length would change as dog matured she lied hair is over 7 inches long today a genetic defect her answer to me to fix problem is to buy from her another dog at a discount and sell it at full price to recover some of my money she's crazy
Desired outcome: partial refund
Regrettably I have to write this review only so that I could potentially help a future dog owner like myself. Jada was born July 1, 2020. A beautiful little puppy who likes to stick her tongue out. I fell in love with her, I had wanted a Rottweiler my whole life because that was the dog I had when I was a child. My father delivered by buying me one for my new apartment while I go to school. My father talked to Mandy from Suncoast kennels Rottweilers. She explained to my father that because she did not have show markings instead of paying $3000 she would sell us Jada for $2600! We were ecstatic my dream was going to come true and we had no intentions of showing our Rottweiler but instead loved how they looked and their personalities so we decided to buy her. When I showed up to buy her she seemed a little bit “fluffy”. I asked Mandy, was she was going to have short hair like a regular Rottweiler? She assured me that Jada had her puppy coat that would fall out. So for months I monitored and took care of her as my little baby. But her hair continued to grow longer and longer. At certain points up to 6 inches with crimped hair on her ears! I contacted Mandy immediately as well as my father to tell her what was going on. Not only was she not helpful but she also was extremely aggressive and unprofessional. She said she would give me a new puppy and take my beloved Jada back that I had raised for roughly 7 months at this point. I was not willing to do that to my puppy. She waits by the door when I leave I could only imagine how she would feel if she never seen me again. This is where things started to take a turn for the worst. She threatened to sue us and threatened that her father was a Republican senator. All because we asked for a partial refund. We decided that we loved the dog and that this lady was out of her mind so we would just leave the situation alone. But unfortunately the problems continued with Jada. At roughly 9 months old she began to limp. I immediately brought her to the vet and they said that she has a wide gate and a rabbit step that will get worse over time. Unfortunately it was hip dysplasia. Fast forward Jada is 2 years old and she is still limping even though we work on it. She cries when she stands up.She is 71 pounds. Much lighter than expected but that is not unbelievable at this point. I would not be surprised if she was not a full blood Rottweiler. Anyways the point of this post is not to slander anyone but to raise awareness not only of Suncoast kennels Rottweilers but also the gross inbreeding and lies that goes on in the breeding community. I hope to give Jada a comfortable life until the day when it is no longer comfortable anymore. It breaks my heart to watch my baby suffer.💛
Hey kid, I have a two part question. How many rotts have you owned, and how many years experience with Rottweilers(collectively) have you garnered from the past rotts you’ve owned?
